We have seven beautifully converted self catering holiday cottages and four luxury yurts sleeping between two and ten people located in the immediate area around the Garlic Farm. A tennis court, football pitch and games room are available exclusively for our guests. All our properties are equipped with free WIFI. We can book discounted ferry crossings on all routes. We also welcome dogs to the farm and each cottage has its own enclosed garden space. We are ideally located for exploring the Island on foot or bicycle. There is a private fishing lake 1/2 a mile away and beaches no more than 10 minutes by car.
The cottages can also be booked together for group accommodation of up to 45 people.
We stayed at the Garlic farm for 3 weeks whilst carrying out a works contract. Our team stayed in both the cottage and yurts through our duration and had the most perfect stay all round. Thank you Garlic Farm for making our stay really comfortable at affordable prices. I have already recommended you to friends & family and will certainly be making a return visit in 2025.
11/10 highly recommended!!
Such a stunning location, yurt was cosy, comfortable and perfect for a short break. A great deal of thought has been put into this accommodation, highly recommend a stay at The Garlic Farm. Restaurant is well worth a visit, breakfast was delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed tour of farm with Colin, enlightening and entertaining. We will certainly return however next time it will be with friends and family as it is such fun! Thank you to Colin, Jennifer, Hugo and Mel!
Booked to stay at the garlic farm for a little weekend break.
We booked the little Mersley cottage. Sleeps 10 however we just had 4 adults.
Wow what an amazing cosy cottage.
We arrived later than expected, but the cottage was open for us. And little welcome gift of chutney and garlic from the farm.
The cottage was very well equipped with all the essentials we needed including bedding and towels, shampoo and body wash, toilet rolls, kitchen well equipped with washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea towels, tea, coffee, sugar and fresh milk in the fridge.
Plenty of wood for the wood...more
I honestly can’t fault this place, a great experience. Very comfortable. Everything you need provided as well, i.e milk, salt, pepper etc. Try the restaurant for breakfast as well, excellent food. Saw red squirrels in first 5 minutes of being there, amazing.
Review of Mill Cottage at The Garlic Farm, Isle of Wight
We recently stayed at Mill Cottage at The Garlic Farm on the Isle of Wight and had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the setting felt peaceful and inviting, with beautiful countryside views and a charming farm atmosphere.
The cottage itself was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had all the essentials for self-catering, and the living area was cozy, making it perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the overall...more
Thank you Garlic Farm.. my daughter, her partner and I had a wonderful day at Paddock Cottage, along with our border terrier. The accommodation was perfect and the sofa bed I slept on was very comfortable. We loved your thoughtful touches such as the fresh flowers, chutney, and other garlic products you kindly left for us.
The only problem was that 2 nights was just not long enough... we will definitely come back and look forward to spending more time relaxing, playing tennis, sauna-ing and enjoying the surrounding countryside.
Will be spreading the word to our friends. X
The peacocks and all the animals in fact were conspicuous by their absence! I was very disappointed...they add character to the GarlicFarm and my dog also loved seeing them on the porch in the mornings waiting for seeds...he was fascinated..
The splendid choice of cakes in the restaurant..gone!
But we like the Garlic Farm and The Kiln is out favourite home away from home...we love walking to Arreton which does the loveliest lunches!....And so friendly and good value!
We will be back to The Kiln ...it is such a familiar effortless April, May holiday and we come home refreshed!
