Kinnaird Estate situated amid dramatic scenery in Highland Perthshire offers a range of attractive self-catering cottages and farmhouses, sleeping from 2 to 8 people each with its own unique character.
I left wishing we could stay another week!
Well appointed and very clean Brandoch Lodge was a perfect property to have as a base to enjoy all the estate and area has to offer, would not hesitate to recommend.
This cottage was brilliant. I have never stayed in a cottage so large for 2 people. Unfortunately we did not use the main living room and opted for the bedroom chairs and tv as it was more cosy mainly due to the wet weather. The main living room would be perfect in summer when you could open up the patio doors. Heating was on when we arrived which was very welcome. Usually in cottages where I have stayed a few condiments are left by other visitors and I know due to COVID this is not provided so remember to take your salt, pepper and vinegar etc.
This is a real "character" house, perhaps originally a folly on the hillside, with stunning views over the Tay valley. Well equipped and well heated with modern electric radiators; there is also an open fire in the living room with logs and coal provided. Bedrooms are pretty compact but there is reasonable space for clothes. Spacious kitchen with fridge-freezer, compact dishwasher and washer/drier. Lots of pheasant and partridge about and stags roaring in the hills during our stay in October. Will stay again.
Always a special place to stay whichever accommodation you decide to stay in.
Excellent staff and always very accommodating.
Lost count how many times I have stayed at Kinnaird and it never fails to provide the perfect place to stay..
Special thanks to Sandra and Fiona absolutely brilliant X
