Great house in good location for fishermen and Golfers. House is well equipped and in good condition. Nice quiet location and reasonably close to Pitlochry and Dunkeld for provisions etc. Enjoyed fishing the Kinnaird estate water on the Tay which is just nearby.
Everything was done with the utmost professionalism from the quick acceptance, information supplied and once we arrive everything was in place and more than we expected. Wonderfull location right on the banks of the Tay and with easy access to Perthshire. The cottages have been refurbished to a high standard and everything was in the cottage that yiou would want.
Breath taking views from the cottage. Everything you need within the cottage to make it home from home absolutely fantastic.
Once again we had a fabulous stay at Kinnaird estate. The location of the cottages are just perfect. They are immaculately clean. We stayed before in Osprey Cottage but booked Kingfisher this time simply because they had wingback chairs to sit on in the evening. The couches in both cottages are very uncomfortable. The only reason I marked comfort score a 3. Everything else was perfect and 10 out of 10.
Obviously we love Craignuisq Farmhouse, we have been saying there since 2000 and have already made reservations for next year. Sits high on a hill overlooking the beautiful River Tay. It's location makes traveling about the Highlands very easy.
Great few days of relaxing in comfort. Good walking in the area. Lovely to relax in front of log fire . Everything you need for a great break.
Keeper's Cottage is more spacious than you'd expect from the pictures and generally of a high standard: clean, well equipped and surprisingly warm, considering it's not double-glazed. We happened to stay during a dreadful (Amber Warning) spell of weather and appreciated the wood-burner and the indoor space in general. Generous supply of logs. Sandra and Fiona were helpful and friendly if/when we needed them. The cottage is also peaceful and ideally placed for walks and drives. The notes for visitors were OK but not superb: finding a restaurant that was open (or not silly-price-frou-frou!) was...more
Wow, what can one say, beyond what we expected, pictures on website does not do it justice. From the drive up to waking up in the morning was wow. The views were outstanding, accommodations was perfect, clean tidy and very welcoming. The fire was done just for us to light it for a cosy warm night. After a long drive from West Wales, it was so welcoming. Kitchen was modern clean and tidy, bathroom was just perfect. Bedrooms and living room study were in style with the character of the Castle, the boys enjoyed their day deer stalking, and the walks were breathtaking. A few days well spent relaxi...more
