I left wishing we could stay another week! Well appointed and very clean Brandoch Lodge was a perfect property to have as a base to enjoy all the estate and area has to offer, would not hesitate to recommend.
Have been visiting Kinnaird for almost 20 years. This year under COVID-19. But felt very safe. Fiona had cleaned the house thoroughly as usual and hand sanitiser provided. The only issue was finding places to eat! The Inn on the Tay was excellent. Take aways from Prince of India and Dunkeld Fish Bar (Limited opening days) but long wait. But can not fault Kinnaird for another fabulous stay.
This is a superb cottage in an idyllic location. We alternated days of tougher walks on the Kinnaird Estate itself, up to Loch Skiach and Mill Pond, with gentler walks around Dunkeld, returning each day to this wonderful sanctuary and waking each morning to pheasants feeding on our doorstep.
A wonderful farmhouse set in a perfect location. The house is very spacious with plenty of bathrooms. We found ti to be clean and very comfortable. Very, very peaceful due to its remoteness but also just a short drive from local shops. It has a large garden with uninterrupted views which is fenced all the way round. I would definitely recommend to anyone wishing for a peaceful break, in a lovely house that is ideal as a central base for days out.
Thé place is wonderful , thé Walks around are great and thé house is well funished We particuly appreciate the wood ready in thé cheminey !
A very pleasant place to stay. More space than I expected. The deck offers fantastic views and is a great place to sit in the evening. Didn't try the barbecue, but it is obviously a lot better than the dirty mini-bbq offered by many self-catering cottages.
