Our second time staying at Kingfisher cottage so husband can fish. Fantastic location and cottage so much to do in area. Dog loves it too
The accommodation was perfect for our needs, the layout with the four large en-suite bedrooms ideal, the beds comfy and the bathrooms well equipped. Our only quibble was with the oven, it would appear that the thermostat in the main bottom left oven may be faulty, food mostly cooked at the rear of the dishes, lots of rotating and guarding of the edges was necessary, everything took longer than anticipated to cook thoroughly.. The tall right hand oven was not wide enough to accommodate our large Le Creuset casserole or large lasagne dish, we used it as a warming oven. The seal on the bod...more
A weeks fishing holiday almost ruined before it started due to ridiculous amount of rain- on arrival after 9 hrs drive cottage inaccessible due to flooding, no worries hosts booked hotel for us . Once flooding receded accessed beautiful cottage perfect location 5 star prepared everything included that we could need for our week . Sadly fishing cancelled only downside. I would recommend the location , the venue ( 3 cottages all very high quality) and the Hosts both helpful and accessible when needed , all round top draw.
Lovely cottage in beautiful location. So many different places to visit in and around area. We also used the train from Pitlochry to visit Inverness and Stirling, the train service is efficient and reasonably priced
Always a pleasure to stay in Jock Scott cottage - perfectly equipped for two - lovely wood burner and the estate offers so much from fishing to shooting to walking and the situation perfect! The Kinnaird team are wonderful!
This was our 13th stay in Craignuisq Farmhouse and have reservations for next year. It is like going home each year when we visit. We love the location for our activities while in Scotland and the view over the River Tay is spectacular. Also, the staff are wonderful and over the year have become old friends.
Great cottage, very roomy and well equipped, beds were comfortable with great en suites. Would have liked to have done some of the recommended walks but the weather was against us. Will be returning.
Such a beautiful location and so peaceful. Castle Peroch is a perfect spot to spend a good few days unwinding in isolation with some books, wine, and good food. You're also on the doorstep for some excellent restaurants and farm shops as you explore the area around and about Perthshire. My one gripe would be the furniture in the living room - a little too small for me (5'11") - but the open fire and decent wine on hand makes this a minor blip!
