This was a great spot for three of us to spend a few nights. Everything was straightforward and comfortable, very clean, and easy to navigate. When I needed to contact our representative, I got a call back quickly and my question was sorted immediately. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
We stayed here for a week to celebrate my dads 85th b'day and had a great time with a family group aged 7-85. Really spacious and comfortable house, well set up for a large group with lots of sofas and big dinning table - and good wifi! The view and garden down to the sea is incredible and a couple of hundred meters away you can sit and watch amazing sunsets. The nearest shop / pub / restaurant (sweenys) is a bit of a walk - about 40 mins but the roads are quiet and we enjoyed the wander. Our son attended the Ceol Na Mara String Summer School in Kylemore Abbey and there is no better location than this to stay as it is so near to the abbey. Great restaurants, Connemara National Park/Diamond Hill and grocery store all within walking distance. Beautiful places to visit just a short drive away. Perfect!

Having visited Connemara for years I made a late decision to spend a few days this month and reserved the Cabin. Don’t be fooled by the title it’s a modern comfortable well equipped home that matches and exceeds the best quality in any traditional home. Met and exceeded all my expectations. Great host and location too.

The cottage is a beautiful place to stay, with amazing views over the Renvyle Peninsula. The rooms were cosy, the kitchen had everything we needed and more, not like our usual experience of having to nip out for essentials such as salt and pepper. We were welcomed by freshly made scones, jam, butter, tea and milk and we instantly relaxed. Any minor issues were resolved straightaway, communication was excellent. We found it very sad to leave, we'll definitely be back!
A beautiful home with privacy and lovely views from all locations in the house. A separate cottage was a perfect addition for our son and daughter in- law. Large kitchen with everything and more needed to cook a family meal. The outside decks are large and a great spot to have morning coffee or evening cocktails. The master bedroom is the highlight with a lovely view and a very large well appointed bathroom. The tub is a great feature after a day of hiking in the Connemara area. We had a wonderful stay in Cleggan this August and truly enjoyed our time in this beautiful part of Connemara. The house was very comfortable, welcoming, and perfectly suited for a relaxing holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the house in Cleggan. It was very spacious and had everything we needed. The location on a quiet lane and very close to the beach was brilliant, it was so tranquil and restful. Cleggan shop and restaurant were only a 10mn walk away and it was the perfect base to explore the Connemara area. Recommended.

This cottage was probably the cleanest BnB rental we have ever stayed in. It was incredibly charming. So comfortable and cozy. The views of the ocean are extraordinary. Johnny and Teresa, the owners, were so kind and helpful. We loved getting to talk to Johnny a few times. We want to go back and go back soon! And I've already told a few people that if they actually go to visit Connemara, this is the cottage where they should stay.
We had a lovely week in Cottage 486 and really enjoyed our time in the West. The house is placed in a beautiful quiet setting, with a lovely garden for our children (9&6) to play safely. The house is fantastically supplied with everything you could need with plenty of towels, hot water and kitchen supplies available. The only small improvement we, in hindsight, would have appreciated, would be one twin bedroom rather than 3 doubles - but we knew this before travelling so it didn't come as a surprise. Lovely, newly finished house in a great location. It was very clean, comfortable and extremely well equipped, with plenty of crockery, utensils and everything else we needed. Nice and quiet, while still being very convenient for Roundstone and exploring Connemara. We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend it.
Wir haben einen schönen Urlaub in diesem Haus verbracht. Sehr gut eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Das Haus steht frei und liegt sehr ruhig an einer Nebenstraße. Die Vermieterin hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und und gute Tipps gegeben. Auch haben wir viel Torf bekommen, um das Haus zu heizen. Dafür brauchten wir die Heizung nicht so oft anzumachen. Man ist mitten in der schönen Natur von Connemara.
Located on the Sky Rd, Clifden the cottage offers stunning sea views with plenty of comfortable outdoor seating to enjoy the sunsets. The location was great, we enjoyed scenic walks into Clifden and the surrounding areas. We were a family of five young adult children the cottage had plenty of room and good showers, it was immaculately clean. Josephine was a wonderful host who had the cottage very well equipped for our week at Clifden and even left us with a complimentary bottle of wine in the fridge. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Highly recommend.
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we enjoyed the location and surroundings. This cottage is a great base for touring Connemara (which we did a lot of during the 10 days): comfortable, well appointed, well equipped and lovely decorated. We've stayed in house 322 on a number of occasions before and each time it exceeds our expectations. The house, location and people could not have been nicer. A short 20 minute walk to an unspoilt and quiet beach and access to great food and entertainment on our doorstep only go to make our stay even more memorable. Hoping to stay longer next year!
Hello there, the house is a very impressive property and was ideal space wise for our large group of 22. We loved the communal areas which really allowed us to all be together to eat and drink and socialise. it's ideally located within walking distance of the town of Clifden and we were all in and out to the town within our stay. We had a lovely winter break in Apartment 453. The apartment is very well kept and is clean, comfortable and quiet, with tasteful decor. Its location couldn't be better when visiting Clifden. It has restaurants, coffee shops and an array of shops on its doorstep. I also had a very helpful phonecall with the contact person prior to our holiday. He answered my query and was very pleasant to deal with. Highly recommended.
The house was lovely, very well equipped and furnished to a high standard. In a convenient location on the edge of Clifden town, just a short walk from the centre of the town along a quiet road.
We have stayed in a number of houses in Connemara and this is the best! House was spotless and had everything you could possibly need. Lovely access to beach and owner was in touch with us to make sure we had settled in and had issues. We brought our golden retriever and he loved it too! Would recommend this house and look forward to booking our return visit!
Checking in was so easy, very clean, excellent location, on the doorstep you have restaurants , shops and an amazing walk up diamond hill. highly recommend this apartment and the locality. Tip: washing line in in the courtyard around the back, not easy to find but a great addition especially as your so closes to amazing beaches
We had a great holiday here despite some tempestuous weather at times. There are superb views from the dining room, garden, lounge, bedrooms. House is spacious, comfortable, very well equiped (and spotlessly clean). Veronica is a great hostess - she's very helpful and lives nearby (Thanks Veronica). We had lovely walks to different beaches. Also local shops (Tully, Letterfrack) have everything you might need. We definitely want to go back !
We originally reserved Cottage 482 because we thought my sister and her family would be joining us for our week in Clifden. Though they had to cancel, the house could have easily accommodated a larger group (upstairs bedroom has a pull out IKEA king sleeper bed, in addition to the full bed, and downstairs couch could be used for sleeping, too). The house felt luxuriously spacious for our family of 4 (2 parents, one 16-year-old, and one 11-year-old). Admittedly we were blessed with good September weather and few fellow visitors, so that the apartment allowed us to feel part of the wonderful setting. Even in the spells of poorer conditions, the views across the Lough were very relaxing. Conveniently situated for the hills, the loughs and the coast, it allowed us to feel we had done justice to Connemara in our short stay. The apartment itself was very comfortable and its management relaxed but efficient.
I stand 2 days in an appartement from Love Connemara cottages in Letterfrack and was very pleased by the location, the équipement and its plan. The only thing that could be greatly improved is the soundproofing of the windows facing the street. Even when closed, it's as if they were open. Fortunately, traffic remains low at night.
An amazing house in the most beautiful location. The house has everything you could need for an enjoyable and relaxing stay. The views are breathtaking and as a group of 7 there was so much space to relax and unwind. We needed help with the heating and the clear instructions from the house manager had us up and running in no time. Very special house.

The House is Standing in a Great Location with excellent views over Lough Corrib. The cottage is around 40 years old and could Need a Renovation. The owner Frank has done excellent work. He helped us in every difficult Situation.
We had a wonderful week in this cottage. When we arrived we found freshly baked scones, butter and jam in the kitchen. Soon after we had a short welcome chat with the owner. The cottage is perfect for exploring Connemara and Clifden is only 10 minutes away for shopping, eating and having a cup of coffee. The coral strand is just over the road and it is perfect for swimming. There are more fantastic beaches nearby. Very recommended!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful holiday home in Ireland. The house was lovely, very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was absolutely amazing and a perfect place to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Ireland. The communication was also excellent. The house is situated in an unique location. Straight across the road of Kylemore Abbey. The house is spacious and has a modern interior, with all the rooms that you need to have 7 people staying. A small suggestion is expanding the cooking utensils a bit to provide a bit more comfort in the cooking. Especially with 7 people. The dishwasher is to small to be used with 5 people comfortably. But all in all a very nice, spacious house we would recommend!
Cottage 182 was perfect for our extended family July week. We had glorious weather all week and we're able to have our portable bbq on arrival out back. The house had all cooking utensils and was very comfortable with 3 couches in the living room. All four bathrooms well supplied and clean. Very close, only metres in fact, to supermarket, cafe, two pub restaurants and two pizza parlours. Letterfrack is only minutes from ferry to Inisboffin at Cleggan and we climbed Diamond Hill twice across the road in the National Park. Highly recommend to anyone - we were a group of twelve. Patrick
I recently stayed here for 3 nghts and highly recommend the property. It was clean, tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need for your stay. The location was excellent, very central and a short walk to restaurants and pubs.

The owners have put all the finishing touches in place to make this cabin private, comfortable and well equipped. I stayed solo and enjoyed the cabin in the evenings after some great hiking with friends in the Bens and Maumturk mountains. We were lucky with weather. There is a beautiful view from the veranda of a nearby small lake with the mountains in the distance as a backdrop.
The cottage was lovely, very clean and spacious for us, a family of two adults and two teenagers. Great sea views including a Connemara pony each morning, and night sky views when the rain clouds moved!. Very warm despite the weather and a good base for Clifden and surrounding area.

The apartment in Letterfrack was clean and spacious and maintained to an excellent standard. The check in process was simple, and there were staff in the office nearby to handle queries - although honestly over a week, we just didn't have any, everything worked as expected. The complex was quiet and chilled, with handy parking and shops a 2 minute walk away. Our only feedback was that the towels supplied could have been a bit better, all small size and no spares, just barely enough to get through the week. Large, clean and stylish apartment. On the main street in Clifton and very handy for bars/restaurants/shops etc. Good base for attractions round and about. The only thing we didn't like was the fact you are overlooked from each apartment window ! We kept the blinds down for most of our stay. That's a compromise for being in a town apartment.
Apartment 263 - Clifden is a pleasant spot. Accessed by three flights of concrete stairs, and lacking parking, it suits able bodied guests happy to walk 10 minutes to their car. The apartment is nicely laid out, well equipped and comfortably furnished - noting that that it is a little threadbare and the appliances are a bit tired. The supermarket is well equipped and close by (which is handy because the rather complex garbage and recycling needs to be taken there) and there are several excellent looking restaurants very close by. The cottage is lovely, clean, well equipped, and the check-in/checkout process was straightforward. The kitchen opens on a large green area. Lovely. One thing worth knowing before you book: it is not within walking distance of the city centre. About, 2.5km. To get there you follow a long stretch of national road that has no footpath and no street lighting, so a car is essential.
Our second time staying. The location is just perfect for switching off and stepping away from the busyness of normal life. You have to go with the flow of the tide, and when the tide is full and the island is quiet you feel like you have stepped back in time! Two weeks of reading, bird watching, exploring and swimming, nipping across to Sweeneys at low tide for the paper and supplies. Living life at a slower pace! The house is clean and comfortable, with all the essentials you need, and Ian is quick to respond if there’s any problem. Highly recommend it!
A cosy little house with everything you need. Lovely big bathroom with great shower. Right in the centre of the village. Well appointed kitchen. Perfect if like us the weather wasn't always great so we could chill in the house and read some of the many books provided. Recommend for your stay in beautiful Roundstone.

Mannin Lodge in the village of Ballyconneely on Connemara, County Galway in Ireland provided the perfect home port for our trip to Ireland with our family (nine of us in all!). The house can certainly accommodate more people too! The five generous rooms each had its own bathroom, the kitchen was large with all the amenities needed, and we could choose from two dining areas. This was our second time to stay in the cottage and we are looking forward to visiting again next year. Anne and Oliver are wonderful hosts. The location really suited us as we enjoy visiting the beaches and villages across Connemara. The cottage is comfortable and well resourced and you immediately feel at home. What an amazing location for this lovely cottage. We were so lucky with sunshine every day! Climbing Diamond Hill is a must. Swimming at Glassillaun Beach in the Atlantic was superb. Connemara is truly wonderful. Everyone so friendly. Thank you Ireland.

While the size and location of the house are good overall our experience was disappointing. The house is damp and had a damp smell throughout. The cleanliness didn't live up to our expectations. On a positive note we had an issue when we first arrived which was sorted very quickly.

Nice apartment in Clifden. Very centrally located. Facilities to a good standard. Very clean. The bed is quite high off the floor so wouldn’t be great for anyone with mobility issues. I would recommend for a short stay.
We recently travelled to Clifden for a 3 night stay. House was large, comfortable and warm. Beds were comfy. Location was good just on the outskirts of town. However we were disappointed with the overall cleanliness of the cottage. There were large cobwebs in the corners of the rooms. The blinds in the bedroom upstairs would not work and the safety chains were not attached to the wall which could be a choking hazard for young kids. The Belfast sink in the kitchen had a large crack and the tap was so loose we were waiting for that to break too. There is no cutlery drawer, just a tray sitting...more

This lovely house was a cosy and comfortable home base for exploring the backroads and wild spots of Connemara! It sleeps six comfortably, with plenty of wardrobe and dresser storage for everyone. The kitchen is fairly well equipped, but there was no chopping knife (only a serrated bread knife), and we were only given one kitchen hand towel and a sponge - and no potholders or oven gloves! - so we had to use a bathroom hand towel to take things out of the oven, and we bought a dish cloth and a cheap chopping knife at the Aldi in Clifden. A beautiful Stone Cottage in the misty Plains of Western Irland. We enjoyed our stay very much! A couple of suggestions for improvement... there was no light for returning in the dark and entering through the back door. There seemed to be lamps with movement detectors on the outside of the house but they did not work. Also we were told to keep the Gate shut to keep the sheep out - however one day when we returned the gate had been opened after we had shut it. The restaraunt in town Olivers was a life saver with really great food and always open! Thanks for the pleasant stay!
The apartment whilst comfortable could've been a bit cleaner. Some of the bedsheets had stains on them. But overall the apartment functioned good for us especially with the young kids. The electricity runs on a pay as you go meter so you pay when you leave. We were charged €67 after 1 weeks stay which I think is ridiculous considering we were out every day. If you worked that out it'd be over €500 on a 2 month bill. Crazy!!
Great, quiet location but still close to shops and bars in Clifden and a perfect start to explore the area. Cosy house with a great atmosphere, albeit a little dated, makes you feel at home. Son loved the CD player, nice to be able to take the kids back in time. We found the cleanliness however, primarily in the kitchen, to be subpar: the coffee machine hadn't been cleaned at all and we found a lot of plates, glasses, dishes and bowls to be a little dirty. We really enjoyed our stay. We are two families of 5 and spent an amazing few days here. The location is perfect for exploring the area. The house has everything you need. There is enough space for everyone. The beds are on the harder side. But for me that was actually surprisingly comfortable. If we are in need of a large house again in this area, we will book this house again.
Lovely house, great location, beautiful views BUT No blind on one bedroom rooflight. Cooker in an antique and no way to open rooflights. Front door latch locked us out one evening.
The house is nice and has some lovely views. The kitchen is very well equipped and has an air fryer and a grill. The sitting room is very homely. The house gets chilly in the winter as the floors are tiled but there's a big fireplace and good heating. Dog's bay is a short drive for stunning walks. Our little dogs loved the garden and had a great time.
Very well located at Kylemore lake. Beautifull surroundings, beautifull Abbey, close to the sea. Very quite location, ideal for a family stay. Despite the midges ;-) really enjoyed being here.
The cottage is very convenient and well equipped. It is a quiet location nearby Kylemore Abbey and Connemara National Park, excellent location to discover Connemara. All bedrooms have marvellous views on the surroundings. Pity that the living room doesn’t have such as view.

Nous avons passé 2 semaines dans le cottage de Leenane. Le cottage en lui même est fonctionnel. Tout est disponible pour passer un bon séjour. La literie est vraiment bonne. Quelques problèmes d’humidité. L’environnement extérieur est magnifique. On ne se lasse pas de regarder le paysage évolué. Nous étions avec nos 3 chiens. Le seul regret est que le terrain ne soit pas clôturé contrairement à ce que pourrait laisser penser les photos avec le portail Mais celui-ci ne ferme pas
we had a very good time in your Cottage and enjoyed it very much! Only concerning the equipment especially of the kitchen I would suggest to add some little things which wo in uld come in handy. However in general it was very nice, especially the view our of the windows :).

A really great location with the apartment having all the amenities needed. It was comfortable inside. If felt secure and parking was good. The outside if the building felt really run-down and unkempt. It needs sorting as it lets some really good accommodation down.
I did not actually stay at the cottage, my daughter and son and their families stayed there. I can’t really speak to anything other than the fact they felt that it was not clean when they arrived.. They actually considered trying to move to another place, but decided against that and vacuumed and cleaned enough to allow them to stay. I did not see the house until the next day so I’m just reporting what they told me. I will leave it as a yes to recommend the property because they liked the proximity to town and there was plenty of space in the house.

We had a wonderful stay here in Roundstone. The accommodation is comfy and nicely situated in Roundstone. Our kids had a great time playing on the terrace, the green and the beach below the appartment. Tatia also has been a very welcoming and helpful host.
Very liveable accommodation with tennis courts nearby. Walking distance to the moorland and to the town. Customer service were lovely and very accommodating with any problems we encountered. Would recommend!
Myself, my husband and 2 children stayed at the house for 4 nights in June and it was perfect for our family. Carole, the owner was wonderful to us, really friendly and helpful which we really appreciated especially woth children. Location is perfect, few min walk to the pretty village and very quiet and peaceful. Would certainly return!
Much space for two adults and two children. Located near the shop and restaurants as well as the national park. The staff around the appartements was very friendly. Kitchen is functional, unfortunately no dishwasher and no laundry bar. In the double bed, there is only one big blanket for two. Besides from that, we have no complaints and really enjoyed our stay!
The property owner needs to address the following issues; Damp across the property and mould in the bedrooms. Broken cabinetry in the kitchen which is both unsightly and dangerous with young children Upgrade the beds in two of the bedrooms. It is unacceptable to advertise a property as modern and luxurious with broken bunk beds and grimey couches. Too much wear and tear for a seemingly luxurious property.
Cottage structure and location are good, but ground floor smells humidity…. So if you only stay upstairs it’s fine but downstairs not great. Sofa is not really confortable . So overall our stay was ok but could/should have been better
We spend a good time in this apartment in Letterfrack, I have only two remarks: - the cleanings was not satisfying for our arrival, - the water-heating system is really too noisy.
We spend three nights in three bedroomed apartment, family of four. We couldn’t fault location, view, amenities, parking, WiFi and facilities in the area. Definitely would recommend these apartments. Restaurants and bars on the doorstep. We ate in two of the three restaurants, fantastic food. Kids loved pizza from takeaway downstairs and we aLeo ate in an amazing pizza restaurant walking distance . L'appartement était conforme aux photos. Le confort de la literie est convenable. Ce logement a répondu à nos attentes et est bien situé : magasin, restaurants et bars de Clifden à deux minutes à pied. À noter cependant : L'évier de la cuisine était bouché à notre arrivée. Le problème devait être connu puisqu'il y avait un balai ventouse à proximité. Nous avons réussi à nous en sortir seuls mais nous étions sur le point de téléphoner à la personne à contacter.
