A large stone-clad cottage located at Moyard, on the Wild Atlantic Way. Sleeps 8/9. 4 Bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. The property offers wonderful views of the Twelve Bens mountains, Ballinakill Bay and the surrounding countryside. Ideal for families, friends and groups. Located close to Clifden, Letterfrack and Cleggan. The Connemara National Park, white sandy beaches, activities and attractions are all within a short drive. Wi-Fi included.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we enjoyed the location and surroundings. This cottage is a great base for touring Connemara (which we did a lot of during the 10 days): comfortable, well appointed, well equipped and lovely decorated. Fast and efficient WLAN was constantly available during our stay.
We were only three but bigger parties will find plenty of space, too. Although the owners live on site, we had all the privacy we needed to feel home away from home. Aedan, the host, is friendly and accessible and although we never had any reason to call for help or support with anything, we knew he would be there in a heartbeat if we had. He offered lots of information and great advices where to go and what to see to make the best out of our holidays.
For us, this cottage was an ideal starting point to discover more of Connemara's nearby attractions.
We truly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it.

Excellent house in an amazing location with great facilities but the owner lives on the property which we were unaware of before arrival which we felt should have been highlighted in description

This is a beautifully presented large house with lots of kitchen dining and living space, off the main Westport Road, very near the entrance to Connemara National Park and ideal for all locations on the Connemara Loup and beyond.
On an elevated site the views are the best of the mountains and bay.
Aedan is a great host and provided us with lots of useful local information about the best beaches, drives and places to visit. The house is stocked with every kind of map and tourist information required.
There was an abundance of towels, linen, delph, kitchen appliances. And with all 4 bedrooms ensuite plus an extra guest toilet and a utility room with large fridge, washing machine and dryer this is house provides every amenity for a large family group.
Most of all the living areas are so bright and filled with light and comfortable sofas and there is lovely art everywhere and books to read. A wonderful place to stay.

Wir waren zu dritt in diesem wunderschönen Haus in Moyard, für drei Leute war es eigentlich zu gross, aber uns hat die Lage gefallen so das wir uns für dieses Objekt entschieden hatten. Der Blick von der Terasse ist bei schönem Wetter einfach Atemberaubend. Von Moyard aus hat man auch gute Möglichkeiten zum wandern im Connemara Nationalpark. Bei schlechtem Wetter kann man sich auch mal die Zeit im Haus vertreiben ohne das es langweilig wird,dank der sehr guten Auswahl an Büchern.Zu empfehlen ist unbedingt ein Besuch auf Inishbofin (Insel der weissen Kuh) wo man gut radeln kann und so die wunderschöne Insellandschaft geniesst. Wir hatten jedenfalls eine wunderschöne Zeit in Connemara.Vielen Dank nochmals an unseren netten Vermieter.

We had the best time in the cottage. Its a great place, amazing location, wonderful views. The cottage is well equipped and lovely decorated. Host was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend that place!
