The cottage is very well located: as it's at the end of the driveway, once inside you feel like you're alone in the middle of nature. Very pleasant kitchen area.
This is a very well presented cottage close to town. Just a 2 minute drive or a ten minute walk to shops. A lot of attention has been given to the inside to ensure comfort and the outside gardens are beautifully maintained. The back yard has a nice space to sit and enjoy coffee or dinner outdoors. We plan on rebooking again very soon.

Our family loved staying at this cottage. It is in a perfect location near the wonderful beaches of Dogs Bay and Gurteen, and close to Roundstone also. The cottage is a beautiful, traditional cottage, and yet fully modernised to be dry, warm, clean and so comfortable for our family. We look forward to our next stay at this cottage.
My wife & 2 kids (& dog) spent 3 wonderful nights in this beautiful, recently refurbished cottage, right in the centre of Clifden town. It was the perfect place to stay for our trip and we had everything on our doorstep, shops, pubs and parking immediately outside the door. The comfort and cleanliness was top notch and I would not hesitate recommending this to anyone as the perfect place to stay. Looking forward to our return visit already!

It was a perfect fit for me and my sister. It is a cozy place with a spectacular view of the bay. Communication between Love Connemara Cottages was excellent. The neighbors were friendly and it had lovely views. It is in the middle of the village where there are several cafes, pubs, and start of walks.
Newly renovated and owned by people who care about their guests’ experience! Spacious and filled with all the essentials you’ll need to have your stay easy and comfortable. Easy check in and Leo was reaching out to make sure all was well. Cabin 485 - Claddaghduff was wonderful. The customer service exceptional, our hosts were welcoming and friendly. The cabin is new, exceptionally well fitted out, clean and comfortable. Every amenity supplied, including speedy WIFI and broadband connections, and a great TV (though the weather was so great it wasn't on much). We were already familiar with the area, and the location was perfect: in the middle between Cleggan and Clifton, and only minutes away from Sweeneys store and pub, and Omey Strand. My family and I were immediately at home. The house was in pristine condition. The kitchen is well stocked with all the basics, plus nice-to-have items like an air fryer. My kids enjoyed the assortment of books and toys. The shower pressure was amazing. The location was fantastic. It's an easy walk into town, but just far enough that you feel removed. The only negative is that there is no clothes dryer in the house. Traveling with kids, we had to do several loads of laundry while at the house. Using the clothesline outside took a bit more planning and watching the weather than I'm used to....more
Our son attended the Ceol Na Mara String Summer School in Kylemore Abbey and there is no better location than this to stay as it is so near to the abbey. Great restaurants, Connemara National Park/Diamond Hill and grocery store all within walking distance. Beautiful places to visit just a short drive away. Perfect!

What a beautiful property, we loved our stay. Stunning views, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen & roaring fire. We stayed in this property in Clifden for a total of 3 days. The place was immaculate with so much space, and just a short walk to Clifden centre. Couldn’t recommend this highly enough. Beds, towels, linens and a full available kitchen with all required utensils. Various entertainment areas contained within also. Hope to revisit some time again.
Just home from a beautiful stay at Bog Bay. The house is lovely, large and has everything you could imagine. Frank was very helpful. Kitchen is well equipped and we really enjoyed the outside seating area. The beds were extremely comfortable and we loved that each bedroom had an ensuite bathroom. We loved the quiet of the countryside but also being close enough to walk to Oughterard which we did several times a day. This truly is a perfect location, close to the city as well as near enough for day trips to the countryside.
The apartment had all mod cons and everything was of a high standard. Very comfortable and great location . I would have liked some printed advise regarding accessing hot water .(There is a booster box in press in hallway but this was not apparent ) and TV instruction. I could not access TV channels which was very disappointing .No instruction whatsoever. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay immensely.
Disastrous weather for fishing but good for touring. More swims than ever. Getting to know Oughterard. Booked again for next year
We had a wonderful family holiday staying in this cottage. The cottage is superbly decorated and fitted out. Was extremely clean and in such a brilliant location. Our host Marguerite was very pleasant and accommodating. Would highly recommend staying here.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the house in Cleggan. It was very spacious and had everything we needed. The location on a quiet lane and very close to the beach was brilliant, it was so tranquil and restful. Cleggan shop and restaurant were only a 10mn walk away and it was the perfect base to explore the Connemara area. Recommended.

We loved our stay at Apt 432. It is so conveniently located in Clifden a minutes walk from pubs, restaurants and most importantly the supermarket, which has an extensive range of food. The apartment is very spacious for two people but also equipped so that guests can also entertain a couple of friends socially for an evening as well. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we enjoyed the location and surroundings. This cottage is a great base for touring Connemara (which we did a lot of during the 10 days): comfortable, well appointed, well equipped and lovely decorated. Fast and efficient WLAN was constantly available during our stay. We were only three but bigger parties will find plenty of space, too. We've stayed in house 322 on a number of occasions before and each time it exceeds our expectations. The house, location and people could not have been nicer. A short 20 minute walk to an unspoilt and quiet beach and access to great food and entertainment on our doorstep only go to make our stay even more memorable. Hoping to stay longer next year!
Staff were lovely to deal with. This property has lots of space for a large group/family. Excellent location. Kitchen is fully equipped which allowed us to cook breakfast every morning and lots of cutlery/crockery and a dishwasher which made life easier for such a big group. Beds were very comfortable and the house was spotlessly clean! Bonus points for supplying a travel cot and highchair for our baby! Would definitely return to this property

We have stayed in a number of houses in Connemara and this is the best! House was spotless and had everything you could possibly need. Lovely access to beach and owner was in touch with us to make sure we had settled in and had issues. We brought our golden retriever and he loved it too! Would recommend this house and look forward to booking our return visit!
The house location is perfect to go by foot to the town centre or to do the short walk to Clifden Castle. The cottage is very comfortable with large rooms and is fully equiped. The place is also quiet. Our host came to welcome us on arrival and there was everything to breakfast in case we would have arrived too late to do shopping. This is a place I recommend to everyone visiting Clifden and Connemara.
Checking in was so easy, very clean, excellent location, on the doorstep you have restaurants , shops and an amazing walk up diamond hill. highly recommend this apartment and the locality. Tip: washing line in in the courtyard around the back, not easy to find but a great addition especially as your so closes to amazing beaches
Admittedly we were blessed with good September weather and few fellow visitors, so that the apartment allowed us to feel part of the wonderful setting. Even in the spells of poorer conditions, the views across the Lough were very relaxing. Conveniently situated for the hills, the loughs and the coast, it allowed us to feel we had done justice to Connemara in our short stay. The apartment itself was very comfortable and its management relaxed but efficient.

The cottage exceeded our expectations. Spacious, well-built home with fabulous views of the ocean, the Aran Islands, and the mountains. Stunning sunsets. Responsive owner. Great place to just relax. Good jumping off location, especially for sites in the Conemara. We would return.

We stayed in the cottage for a week in the summer. The house has everything you need and is beautifully furnished. But what we liked most was the large garden and the wonderful view of the sea.The location of the house is very good. The shop in Ballyconneely can be reached in a few minutes and has everything you need. For more shopping and Restaurants you can be in Clifden within 15 minutes. We enjoyed our stay very much and had a wonderful time discovering the wonderful landscape of Connemara.
We’ve stayed in this cottage on many occasions. The location is beautiful- amazing scenery, tranquility and nature on your doorstep. Fabulous hikes and walks from your front door and all the beauty of Connemara with in easy reach- beautiful beaches etc. and the villages of Clifden, Letterfrack a short drive away. When entering the cabin we were very pleasantly surprised with a basket of deal goodies, including fruit, bread and milk! The place was tidy and clean and very well equipped. There even was a washing machine ! All in all we had a very pleasant stay, even when the weather is not cooperating 100%.
Perfect location in Clifden, close to all amenities, pubs, restaurants etc. Apartment is spacious and was spotless and easily accommodated our group. We have stayed here several times and hands down our No.1 place to stay while in Clifden. Apartment has parking underneath in a secure underground carpark. The apartment also has a lift.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le cottage 182 de Letterfrack. Mr Veldon a été très agréable. La maison était très propre, grande et chaleureuse. Nous étions 10 et nous n’avons même pas utilisé toutes les chambres… Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la chaleur de la maison (quel plaisir après une journée dehors de se retrouver au chaud) et le pub juste à côté dans lequel on mange très bien et qui propose de la musique traditionnelle le soir. Il nous a juste manqué une cafetière électrique mais c’est un détail ! Allez-y les yeux fermés !
Conroy's cottage is a lovely well-kept cottage in a peaceful countryside setting, only a few minutes walk from Moyrus beach with its unpolluted clear water and white sand. The cottage was very clean, bed linen was provided as well as plenty of towels. Caroline was a very helpful host. I'd thoroughly recommend this cottage to people wishing to visit the area.

We enjoyed our stay here. Our contact Martina was a pleasure to deal with. The cottage has everything you need, but one or two improvements would help: the oven was tricky to use as the numbers on the dials had worn off and the door didn't close. There is only one bathroom, which may be an issue for large groups. The house was immaculately clean, and very comfortable. The views of the 12 Bens (when not smothered in cloud) are spectacular. I would recommend the cottage without hesitation.
This property is one of the nicest self-catering, pet-friendly holiday homes we have ever stayed in. It was spotlessly clean and the various food goodies left for us were very much appreciated. The kitchen is modern (eye-level oven, grill and microwave) and very well equipped. There is enough cupboard room to store one's own provisions. The sitting-room is not a separate room (as one might think looking at the photo on the property's webpage) but continues on from the kitchen and has its own sliding door opening out to the terrace. We had a lovely stay in Sandy Heels in Roundstone. This house is very tastefully decorated and has a lovely little paved garden out the back with garden furniture which was beautiful during the hot weather.
We love staying in this house it gives us everything we need for our stay in Roundstone, it’s located right in the heart of the village and the views are amazing

On arrival the cottage was white instead of the warmer colour of the advert. We had trouble finding the heating but were helped fast by the caretaker. The cottage is very spacious and has a view to die for. We loved. The living room was quite small if the cottage would be fully booked but for two is was good. The kitchen was big and it looked like everything was there. But there were no tablets for the dishwasher. Please note that there is a Dolce Gusto coffeemaker and no alternative, so bring cups (We didn't) It was very nice that there were a washing machine and dryer.
What an amazing location for this lovely cottage. We were so lucky with sunshine every day! Climbing Diamond Hill is a must. Swimming at Glassillaun Beach in the Atlantic was superb. Connemara is truly wonderful. Everyone so friendly. Thank you Ireland.

Our holiday was wonderful. We were beside shop, restaurants, coffee shops and pubs. All just across the road. The house was exceptionally clean with beautiful bed linen. It was well stocked with all we needed. There are lots of beautiful beaches close by. The small playground was a big hit with my two young grandchildren. Overall the location and house was excellent. The only down side was we found it tough to be out of the house by 10 am on the morning of departure. Otherwise everything was great .

Lovely house, great location, beautiful views BUT No blind on one bedroom rooflight. Cooker in an antique and no way to open rooflights. Front door latch locked us out one evening.
The house is nice and has some lovely views. The kitchen is very well equipped and has an air fryer and a grill. The sitting room is very homely. The house gets chilly in the winter as the floors are tiled but there's a big fireplace and good heating. Dog's bay is a short drive for stunning walks. Our little dogs loved the garden and had a great time.
You could not find a better spot for a holiday home, the views are incredible. The house is very spacious and could be very comfortable, but there were a few downsides. The seating in the living room was very worn and uncomfortable. The dining room chairs were uncomfortable and some were wobbly, the table was sticky. The beds in the triple room were terribly umcomfortable. But the biggest downside was the moldy smell in the living room. Very well located at Kylemore lake. Beautifull surroundings, beautifull Abbey, close to the sea. Very quite location, ideal for a family stay. Despite the midges ;-) really enjoyed being here.
The house was great and the view to the ocean fantastic. We recommend this place to stay and it´s great even in bad weather conditions. The hostages were really nice and took care about everything.

We always love to find a dog friendly stay and whilst the cottage accepts dogs the location of the cottage next to a very busy road was a constant worry. The garden is not fenced in and therefore each time our pup needed to go out one of us would also need to go out to mind her. So keep that in mind especially if the weather is as poor as we experienced. The cottage itself is bijou but comfortable. A really great location with the apartment having all the amenities needed. It was comfortable inside. If felt secure and parking was good. The outside if the building felt really run-down and unkempt. It needs sorting as it lets some really good accommodation down.
We spent New Year in this house in Clifden Glen. The house was modern and spotlessly clean, the kitchen is well equipped and house has comfy beds. Heating is electric storage heating and living area was toasty warm, no need to light the fire. The only drawback is the living area is quite small and would be cramped if all the beds were occupied or you are spending a lot of time in the house.

This is a modern comfortable studio apartment in the very centre of town. It is a new build and very well insulated so you cannot hear neighbouring apartments. The only thing you can hear is recycling/ bin truck. The bed is a sofa bed so that was comfortable for relaxing in the evening watching tv. Very good value. I would return

The property owner needs to address the following issues; Damp across the property and mould in the bedrooms. Broken cabinetry in the kitchen which is both unsightly and dangerous with young children Upgrade the beds in two of the bedrooms. It is unacceptable to advertise a property as modern and luxurious with broken bunk beds and grimey couches. Too much wear and tear for a seemingly luxurious property.

The location is excellent..however we found the double bed too small. The door to bedroom 2 didn’t close properly and the handle came off the window in the sitting room. Otherwise the apartment was well kitted out with good washing facilities
Bedrooms clean and nice with really comfortable beds. Bathroom clean and adequate. Spacious lounge and kitchen area but had a musty smell. Aired it as much as we could but didn’t get rid of it.
We spend a good time in this apartment in Letterfrack, I have only two remarks: - the cleanings was not satisfying for our arrival, - the water-heating system is really too noisy.
We spend three nights in three bedroomed apartment, family of four. We couldn’t fault location, view, amenities, parking, WiFi and facilities in the area. Definitely would recommend these apartments. Restaurants and bars on the doorstep. We ate in two of the three restaurants, fantastic food. Kids loved pizza from takeaway downstairs and we aLeo ate in an amazing pizza restaurant walking distance . Comfortable apartment. The building and external space were still in process of being finished, which we hadn’t expected, and the information on the property and surrounding areas still incomplete. The TV did not work which was disappointing. The location was very pretty but not safely walkable to any amenities. Good base for exploring Connemara.
The cottage, which looked pleasant upon arrival, ultimately disappointed us. Cleanliness was average; the fixtures and fittings were worn. For example, the ground-floor toilet had a leak, and the downstairs shower was leaking. We had a hard time cleaning with an unsuitable and leaking vacuum cleaner. In short, improvements really need to be made, but we had a pleasant stay in Clifden.
