Very flexible accommodation (2 families of 4 staying in 2 joining properties) which meant there was plenty of space, lots of bathrooms, and scope to cater for a bigger group. The on-site pool was the main attraction for us as the children had a fantastic time swimming every day. The games room was very well equipped, warm, comfortable and spacious. The coast was only 10-15mins away and there was also walking/cycling options from the cottages. The hosts and reception manager were all very helpful, and very quick to respond to messages/emails. Thank you for a fantastic get away.
We had a really lovely stay here. The accommodation was beautiful and nice and clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed making use of the pool and the tennis courts. We would definitely come back again.
We enjoyed being able to use the pool, kids playing on the field and all the other facilities like the games room. Staff were very helpful when we needed them. Location great for visiting some of the sights of Norfolk.
Beautiful cottage just as I’d hoped, perfect for our family. Well equipped, everything we needed for our stay. Beautiful outlook - would love to come back for longer in the summer months to make the most of it. The children loved the games room and the swimming pool, and the private swimming hour was perfect. Ideal location for exploring the beautiful Norfolk coastline. We will definitely be looking to return in the near future.
We had a wonderful time staying at Avocet and Garden houses whilst celebrating my husband’s 60th birthday. All my children, their partners and grandchildren found the adjoining houses beautiful, spacious, exceptionally clean, well equipped and very comfortable. We loved the location of the house in the middle of nowhere but within easy reach of nearby coastal towns. The swimming pool and games room were great additional facilities which my family made great use of and thoroughly enjoyed. Another excellent stay at Cranmer Cottages. The pool really enhances our stay. The wood burning stove was also very welcome for this new year stay
The cottage was in good condition, spacious and well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay. It was in a very good location, 20 minutes from Wells and 15 minutes from Pensthorpe. The swimming pool was great and we made good use of it and have some really happy memories. The outside space was also a bonus. We made good use of the board games in the cottage due to the weather and would be happy to stay again.
We had a short break in this lovely cottage. The area is very near several places of interest and beaches e.g. trip to see the seals, Sandringham and several lovely little towns like Burnham Market, where we had a lovely meal in No. Twenty9 bar and restaurant. The staff at Cranmer Country Cottages were always helpful and the swimming pool lovely. Our 3 year old grandson enjoyed spending time in the Playroom.
Who would have thought that you could find a lovely set of holiday cottages off the beaten track, just outside Fakenham. Firstly, a big shout out to Jen, whom we dealt with before and during our stay. Jen went over and above to help out, and made us feel very welcome. Avocet was nicely situated on the end of a row of cottages and had excellent access to the children's play area and tennis court, although the latter went unused. Owls Roost (2 combined cottages) was the perfect stay for our extended family of 4 grandparents, 2 parents and 2 children. The size was just right and having 2 living rooms and 2 kitchens made socialising and cooking much easier over the Christmas festive feasting period. Everything was clean and we had plenty of cooking equipment. The pool was the highlight, we enjoyed swimming everyday, and the time slots are a nice way to organise private sessions. We had a lovely stay in the Garden House, the house is well equipped and appointed. Highly recommend Cranmer Cottages it's a great base for exploring around North Norfolk.
