Always a pleasure to spend time at Lowerwood. Accommodation is always top class and nothing is too much trouble for Jill and her team. Our ‘go to’ place in Norfolk.
We have been going to Lower Wood Farm cottages for many years and this is still our happy place for the whole family .The cottages are very homely ,clean and have everything you need for your stay .Grandchildren love the playbarn and the indoor pool and there are outdoor games and bikes to use .Fields all around and lovely walks with a farm shop down the lane . Gt Yarmouth and other attractions close by . Never want to come home ,such a lovely place .
This was a perfect place for parents, grandparents and two small children. The play barn and opportunity to book the pool for private sessions were highlights. Swimming each day resulted in the 5 year old swimming a length unaided. Outside were swings, play equipment and bikes. The Farmhouse was well appointed and warm. It's in a lovely rural setting and with wide open spaces. Thank you to Jill and her team.
Visited as a family with our two children (5 and 8). Was a lovely stay - swimming pool (which you reserve for just your group) and playroom (particularly pool table and table football) were big hits with the children, and they also enjoyed being able to play football on the grass with the goals and ride the bikes. Location is great for the beach and surrounding towns, and local supermarkets and restaurants are also conveniently close by. Service was great, including a lovely cake on arrival. Would definitely recommend.
What an amazing place this is. It has everything a family of 4 could ever wish for. The Bramley cottage was clean, comfortable and had everything we could have ever need in the self catering cottage. The heated pool was perfect for us and the kids to relax and have fun. And the games room was perfect for a quick game of pool with the kids. The snow after new years was an added bonus for us all as coming from Australia we don’t get to see it that often. Best snow family bonding day ever. Highly recommend Lower Wood Farm cottages definitely have the wow factor! Absolutely everything you need for a fabulous family holiday. It’s very quiet and a perfect safe location. The facilities are brilliant for young children and early teens ,with bikes, footballs, pedal toys and the play barn is like a toy shop. The swimming pool is lovely and warm and well maintained. Amazing place to stay with great views. Very peaceful. Not too far to drive to other places to visit. Cottage was large enough for a big family. Very spacious. The play barn was well equipped with things to do for both adults and children. Swimming pool clean and can book 1hr private sessions for family. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again
We had another lovely stay at Lowerwood Farm. The accommodation is very comfortable, we made lots of use of the on site facilities including the bbq, swimming pool, play barn and bikes. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending.
