Fantastic stay with family of 4 and dog. Everything was in place for us from our arrival to departure. We were made to feel very welcome by Sussane and tam who supplied us with fresh eggs from the resident hens. This is the perfect location for exploring different areas of Dunkeld and enjoying the lovely views from the farmhouse balcony. Would recommend the stables for anyone traveling with dogs or young family.
Tatha View is an exceptional house, with an incredible view over Loch Tay. The house is stylish, large and comfortable with plenty of room for 8 people. There is so much to do in this area - we could have stayed much longer. Highly recommended !
The house is beautiful and perfect for our weeks break. The weather was fabulous and the garden and tree house were just amazing. The facilities were first class, well equipped and extremely comfortable. Our daughter left from the house to get married in the cathedral and we could not have wished for a better backdrop . We have got lovely photos in the garden and the big bedroom was perfect for getting ready in, we cannot thank you enough. Best wishes The Dorward Family
We came to stay at the last minute on our honeymoon. The place was lovely, clean and really cosy. Lovely hosts made it even better!
We had a wonderful stay. There is so much to do and to see. With a central location one can chose to stay local and enjoy the fantastic scenery or journey afar and return to a very comfortable and well equipped base.
The Longhouse is a fabulous holiday home. The bedrooms are very comfortable, the living space is fantastic and the kitchen well equipped. The kids loved the table tennis table and enjoyed the large garden. I loved the view from the porch and was lucky enough to have many sunny days to sit there and enjoy the view. We’ll definitely return to the Longhouse.
This is our 5th/6th stay in this property. The location is perfect for access to the loch, we have taken a paddle board, kayak and had great fun. Close to Kenmore and Killin ( 20 min drive ) and lovely walks. The house has a fantastic lay out and is super comfortable, just as well given the rain we experienced on this stay!
The cottage was in a great location for exploring the area, clean and welcoming. Great area for cycling and walking with everything at your door step.
This was our second trip to Aodin with 3 generations of our family. The layout works well for a combination of family members due to the subdivision of 2 of the bedrooms and a family bathroom downstairs (there is only a very small bathroom with an over the bath shower upstairs for the other 2 double/twin rooms). The building and grounds/gardens are great and we used them a lot as the weather was brillliant. The roads up to the property are tricky but the surfaces have been attended to since our last visit which was helpful. Aodin is in a very good position for visiting Aberfeldy, Grandtully...more
I recently stayed here from Mon-Fri. I know Kenmore well, and have stayed in many of the self catering options in and around the village, this was the most homely. The location is fantastic, away from the 'main' road going through the village, but 2mins walk to the hotel and village shop. Small thing to note though, the photos are obviously a few years old as the view to the river is much more obscured by trees and undergrowth than they show, but this is not a problem, just a bit deceptive. The house is well equipped, and does not lack anything, however I would say some of the living ro...more
Really lovely well appointed spacious house with fabulous views and excellent extras such as the games room which kept our 4 boys entertained for hours ! My only 2 quibbles and they are minor is that there are only 2 single beds which for a house being marketed as a family holiday can be tricky and the other thing was a broken patio tile. Other than that we had a brilliant time and would highly recommend!
Our family of four (with 2 young daughters) enjoyed a lovely week’s stay at this quaint but superbly kitted out cottage. Anything you could possibly think of was provided in the kitchen and lots of books including a kids play/drawing area was set up. Huge garden to use if the weather is nice and a summer hut to relax in also furnished with chairs and books (and badminton rackets!).
