Another lovely stay at The Stables. It’s such a beautiful home and a great place to escape for a few days. Will be back soon!
We had a great week long stay in this beautiful cottage with two young children. Tullichuil was very well equipped, spacious and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the amazing views and the quiet surroundings. The cottage was well located for visiting nearby Aberfeldy and Kenmore. We will definitely be looking to book again in the future as we didn’t want to leave!
We really enjoyed the week. Beautiful location and beautiful house. It was windy and rainiy but that didn't distract us from spending a comfortable week catching up with reading and wildlife spotting,
Saorsa is a beautiful and well appointed rental property. It is very clear that the owners have given much thought to the quality and special homely touches of this lovely house. The open plan living area was perfect for us to enjoy relaxing, watching movies and big breakfasts and Sunday roast dinner for our family weekend. Also, with the good fortune to have great weather during our stay, we were able to make good use of the outdoor patio & dining facilities. We loved the walk over to the village and the dogs were happy to snuffle about at the loch and in the woods by the river. The house w...more
Tarmachan is a lovely property that is well presented and fully kitted out with everything you need. The upstairs living gives you great views over the loch and the balcony is a great place to sit in an evening (with a glass of something of course) and watch the sun go down. The location is perfect for getting around to all the places we wanted to visit, as well as being close enough to the amenities offered by Kenmore and Aberfeldy. We will definitely be back.
The Wee Cosy Nook lives up to its name. It's perfect for two, very comfortable not to say luxurious, with everything you need for a self-catering break. A lot of thought and preparation has gone into this cosy apartment and both the hosts and the agency are friendly and helpful. The view towards the River Tay is absolutely beautiful, especially on a frosty sunny morning with the mist rising from the water.
Four adults & 2 dogs enjoyed a lovely 5 day stay in Puccini Cottage, it had everything we required & more. Great quiet location & plenty of walks for the dogs. We would recommend to all dog lovers.
We were very happy with this property, the size is perfect for a family (2 kids) and 2 adults, the layout is very practical with a large living room upstairs with a spectacular view of Loch Tay. The bonus with this flat is the wood burning stove which gives a very cosy feel. We were very happy and would definitely recommend this property.
We’re just back from a fabulous stay in Mo Dachaidh. It was so comfortable, great furnishings, lovely warm spacious house, comfy beds and wonderful gardens. We really liked the location and gorgeous colours on the hills surrounding the house. The garage was great for our bikes and the large utility room was such a boost to deal with our wet or muddy kit. Would definitely recommend it for active families or anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.
We stayed last weekend, 2 couples, 2 kids and 2 dogs and everyone loved the house. I was slightly concerned when I first saw the road but it was worth it when we reached the house. We spent the days at Aberfeldy, Kenmore and walked the Forest Walk at Weem (Castle Menzies), then home to a lovely cosy fire and chill out. Lots of dog friendly cafes and pubs nearby. The house was so big there was space for everyone to have their own wing! The kids (age 9) loved playing hide and seek inside and out, they were exploring, had named the cows, so great to see them outside and not on tablets (a we...more
This was our 2nd visit to Verdi Cottage, we were there last year as well. The cottage is really nice and in really good condition. My wife and I wondered if it the condition would be as good as the first visit and I I can happily confirm it is. The one area where improvement could be made is the broadband service. There is 2 broadband options available. The password for 1 does not work and the other gives no connection. There is also Netflix in the cottage but as the broadband is bad then Netflix does not work.
We have a great time at Kirkland’s. Enough space for 2 families with teenage children and adults to have time together and separately. Outdoor space great... kids enjoyed the Astro turf and basketball. Games room provided us all with a lot of fun. Walks into aberfeldy and around the area were enjoyed by all especially the dogs.
The cottage is located right on Loch Tay. The view from the living room is incredible. The house is modern, well equipped and could have been in excellent conditions except: -The oven in the kitchen was not properly cleaned. Once turned on it started smoking and triggered the smoke alarm, causing a rather unpleasant experience. -The WiFi speed is 0.2 Mpbs (we tested it on several devices). Essentially there is no WiFi. -Apparently the toilets leak from time to time. On our last day of stay we were woken up early in the morning by two men who had entered the house to inspect the toilet...more
Very clean and comfortable apartment and a superb base for exploring the surrounding area, Perthshire and the highlands.Great eating places with quality food and friendly service. Aberfeldy has everything, great walks(eg. Birks of Aberfeldy on the doorstep) and the superb River Tay, good eating places, superb local cinema and a great base for sightseeing. We will return and would certainly recommend to others.
Cottage was well equipped and clean. Located in a very quiet area in the town of Kenmore. Nice walks along the river Tay starting from the house. Well prepared information about the house and points of interest available in the house. Recommended improvement: Both, SAT-Receiver and DVD-Player are connected to the modern Flat TV by SCART connectors, thus switching the connectors is required to change between SAT and DVD. A small investment in a new DVD player with HDMI connector would solve the issue.
Bay Tree cottage is a great get-away cottage, rural but easily accessible to the interesting town of Dunkeld, the A9 and numerous walking opportunities. There is a good sized kitchen/dining area and 2 sitting rooms. The bedrooms are nicely furnished and the beds are comfortable. There is a pretty garden with options for outside eating and straight out of door options for dog walking. The steps down from the lane into the back garden and the bathroom are fine for active oldies but could be an issue for someone with walking difficulties. There are plenty of options for eating locally in Dunkeld...more
