Delighted with this beautiful wee cottage for our short break in Perthshire. Angela was very helpful and the booking confirmation information was very clear. Very quiet spot but still close to Aberfeldy and access to some lovely walks - we walked to Weem Woods, along the river to Aberfeldy, and round The Birks. Large back garden was great to exercise the dogs with space to sit and enjoy the sun. Inside was very clean and fresh. Looked liked the rooms had been recently decorated and all were well furnished. We all commented on how comfortable the beds were! Very impressed by the temporary covid...more
The Longhouse is a gem of a find. We were lucky enough to spend a week there with our family, 3 children and dog and had a wonderful time. Everything was exceptionally clean and we felt very safe given the current climate. We found it an ideal base to explore the gorgeous area and all family members thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We we not hesitate to recommend this property and aim to return as soon as possible!
Another lovely stay at The Stables. It’s such a beautiful home and a great place to escape for a few days. Will be back soon!
Our family had a great stay in Tullichuil. The wind was blowing a gale and we had blizzards but the house was always warm (thanks to an Aga), clean and very quiet.
We stayed here just after lockdown restrictions for self catering accommodation were lifted. It was very clean and had a lovely view of Loch Tay. It was so relaxing we did not want to go out. Would definitely recommend it. Week worth the money we paid.
Myself and my partner booked here for a few days over christmas and we completely loved it. It is beautifully furnished, and the bed is particularly comfortable. Better than my own house! It is near the owners' house, but a completely detached building. The owners themselves are lovely people who even invited us to their house - however they also completely respected our privacy. Renting in winter, we found it to be very well insulated - it's most definitely cosy, as described. Also it's not as far into Aberfeldy as it appears on Google maps, because there is a footbridge over the river, so we...more
After months in Lockdown we were all ready for a break and we’re so lucky to have come across Mo Dachaidh. We appreciated the large rooms, the comfortable beds, the lovely decor and the vast collection of highland art work. We lit the log fire on one of the colder, rainy days and used the barbecue on one of the sunny days! It was lovely to watch all the birds visiting the feeding station every day and even a red squirrel joined in one day. We loved watching the sheep in the neighbouring field and one morning a hare was sitting in the garden. We found the location was ideal...not too far from K...more
Aodin is a beautiful property and perfect for a stay with friends. The house had everything we needed - the kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms and living room were extremely comfortable. We enjoyed multiple walks, both from the house and within driving distance. We ate at Aileen's Craagan and had drinks at the Marina in Kenmore - both very enjoyable. We were so lucky with the weather that we had a swim in the Loch and it wasn't even too cold! The only think we’d like to feed back was the lack of handwash and hand towels in the bathrooms. There was one soap by the kitchen sink...more
We stayed at Craigard around Christmas. The house was nicely decorated at arrival. It has all the comfort you need, multiple bathrooms, well equipped kitchen etc. From the living room and balcony you have stunning views. The surroundings are beautiful, we visited Port William, Gasgow, a whisky distrillery, took walks, and did a highland safari. For those activities you definitely need a car.
We stayed at River View Cottage for just over three weeks while working in the Kenmore area, it was perfect for what we needed, comfortable, clean and well-equiped. Thank you so much to Amanda and her team for making our stay as enjoyable as possible (while working...).
House is fantastic with everything you could look for. Location is great with a 15 minute walk into Aberfeldy, 2 minute walk to nearest hotel for food and drinks and some great walks just behind the house.
Lovely large traditional family house in Birnam so its easy walking distance to Birnam shops and also Dunkeld where there are many cafes, bars and restaurants. The house is well equipped especially the kitchen which makes it perfect if your a large group dining at home. Lots of dining ware, glasses, plates and cutlery. Kitchen is very warm from the AGA. Comfortable beds with clean white linen, all the showers were very good & powerful and we were provided with soft towels. All bedrooms have blackout blinds which is thoughtful! Two sitting rooms and a large dining room as well as the dining tab...more
Bay Tree cottage is a great get-away cottage, rural but easily accessible to the interesting town of Dunkeld, the A9 and numerous walking opportunities. There is a good sized kitchen/dining area and 2 sitting rooms. The bedrooms are nicely furnished and the beds are comfortable. There is a pretty garden with options for outside eating and straight out of door options for dog walking. The steps down from the lane into the back garden and the bathroom are fine for active oldies but could be an issue for someone with walking difficulties. There are plenty of options for eating locally in Dunkeld...more
