Saorsa is a new property, built and furnished with comfort and functional use in mind. It could comfortably accommodate 6 adults, with large bedrooms, bathrooms and living space. For us, it was just my wife and I and our small Cockapoo dog and we loved returning each day to a clean, comfortable and warm house, with all the modern amenities. A modern log burner and the 50+” TV, made for enjoyable evenings. As it was our first time in the Scottish countryside, we spent a lot of time travelling to places such as Loch Lomond and St Andrews, which we really enjoyed but in reality the local scene...more
Although windy and wet, the view and peacefulness at the cottage was perfect. Enjoyed a walk via Drummond Hill to Fortingal.
A group of 7 adults, 4 kids & 2 dogs stayed at Tuesachan for a long weekend. We were all extremely impressed with the exceptional high quality of the house. The owner really has thought of everything, even down to the little extra touches of plastic plates and cups for the kids to little steps for the loo, to board games and books for all ages! A truely luxurious house in an excellent location, peaceful yet not too far from towns. The hot tub was a fantastic bonus. We all loved our weekend at Tursachan house and would return again. Thank you to Angela, the Manager, for all her help in organisi...more
Lovely comfortable cottage in a perfect location for touring around the Aberfeldy area This is a luxury property, with everything you need giving it a real home from home feel
We arranged our stay at fairly short notice and Angela at Highland Perthshire Holiday Homes was extremely helpful. Ben Macdui is very well equipped and beautifully furnished and presented. It is a holiday home you could move into.
I just wanted to say a huge thank you, we've had a wonderful 10 days in Tarmachan. The house is beautifully decorated and well equipped. I must also note that it's the first place we've stayed that is managed and cleaned by a company (rather than the owner) that is actually genuinely clean!! It's a real 'home from home'. The only thing we thought needed improvement was the mattress on the master bed. It's firm which we like, but I could totally feel the springs which lead to an uncomfortable nights sleep - it doesn't seem to fit with the high end feel to the property. We also had a ve...more
Excellent property in an excellent location. Just perfect for bringing family together for a long weekend. Many thanks.
This is the forth time we have stayed at this beautiful remote rural house with family or friends and once again it is one of the most chilled and relaxed places on earth. Stunning views, beautiful surroundings and very impressed with all the upgrades that have taken place since the last time we stayed. Will definitely be back ...... the best way I know to recharge your batteries.
Wonderful view on the lake and surroundings only concern: WIFI access is limited in term of bandwith
Lovely apartment, great position in the centre of town - next door to a wonderful bookshop too. Well furnished, comfy beds, well stocked and equipped kitchen, great shower - everything done with care and attention. If I had to be picky, I'd say that the car parking area needs a tidy-up - the 'allocated space' was not always free - but we always found somewhere. Overall a fantastic holiday in a great apartment in one of my favourite towns - we will certainly be back.
The cottage is well situated overlooking the river on one side and greenery on the other which looked particularly attractive with the autumnal colours. It is also a stone's throw to the hotel, restaurants and shops so very handy to nip out for food and drinks. Lots of great walks on the doorstep so a dog lovers paradise. Kenmore itself is also a lovely wee village. Major niggle for us was no dishwasher which was totally unexpected and we could have done with more than the two dishtowels provided. There also isn't a drier and with Scottish weather what it is, there was nowhere to dry clothes q...more
We stayed here in August for a family wedding in nearby Kenmore and a relaxing holiday . The house and gardens are beautiful and we felt at home straightaway - the kitchen is well equipped and the living room is really comfortable. The house is light and airy and all bedrooms are spacious. The garden is large and divided into several areas with plenty of seating - lots of rabbits and birds to watch as well as red squirrel. There are plenty of things to do in the area. We particularly enjoyed visiting Castle Menzies and walking around Aberfeldy and Kenmore along the Rob Roy Way.
