Absolutley remarkable and breath taking place! Great location and perfect place to reconnect with your body and friends and family, very spacious and very convenient and safe place. Astonishing views, animals and nature perfect spot for isolating and disappearing for the weekend away. Thank you so much for letting us stay and experience this beautiful cottages.. It was a group of 15 people and we loved every moment. Especially coming back to the cottages to spend the rest of the weekend after beautiful Lake District Hike. thank you!
Extremely spacious house with an amazing amount of settees, dining chairs, tables and kitchen equipment as well as plenty of outdoor space and facilities. Great location for walking.
Had Mole End and Woodpecker booked for a long weekend with friends. Gorgeous location with some amazing sunsets luckily! Mole end was really clean and surprisingly spacious given it only sleeps six and it was really useful having the two cottages next two each other - we were mainly based in woodpecker but it helped to come and go. Would definitely stay again!
We had a very enjoyable weekend with 3 generations from South Wales and North East England meeting up. Oakhouse was ideal. I hope we can do it again.
Perfect setting for a large family gathering. Loved the hot tub and pizza oven and peaceful location. Plenty of room for everyone. Giant kitchen for meal preparation and plenty of private space.
Another lovely Easter break at Woodpecker. We have been coming here for many years - a family gathering with 3 generations. As always the owners are very helpful and accommodating - communication is never an issue. The grandchildren spent many happy evenings in the hot tub - so did a few mums and dads. The house is very well equipped and maintained with plenty of space for all the family. The children enjoy using the outdoor pizza oven and the barbecue area was well used as we were fortunate with the weather.
