We had a fab week making memories at these cottages, they catered for our every need, the young , middle aged and older all sorted . Fabulous cottages , everything you ever need and more . Spotless and perfect .
7 of us stayed in mole end for my hen weekend. We had an amazing time, we did get a little lost trying to find the place so be careful when driving but once we got there my my my, it was beautiful, the cottage was well supplied, clean, warm and was extremely accessible for myself as a full time wheelchair user.
An ideal location to celebrate our daughter's 40th with our daughter & son and their families. The accommodation is spacious, clean and comfortable, with everything provided for our needs. Ample parking and also spaces to enjoy outside, plus plenty to explore in nearby Garstang and Scorton and numerous options for local walks. We had a fabulous time together and would definitely consider returning and no hesitation in recommending to others. Excellent communication with the owners who provided everything we needed to know both prior to and during our stay.
We booked this house for my friends hen party & birthday celebrations and it was absolutely perfect! Plenty of space for 14 of us to relax, dance, and dine. The conservatory is absolutely gorgeous and we will definitely visit again in summer to enjoy the outside space!
We really enjoyed our stay at The Old Stables but unfortunately could not attend the wedding evening party due to being flooded in on the 31st. Luckily for us the cottage provided a great party area for us to celebrate New Year. The only comment for us would be the upstairs bedroom sizes and only 3 bathrooms. It did take some careful planning for eleven adults to get ready. Beautiful area for walking despite the rain.
We have stayed at Barnacre Cottages many times and have always had a wonderful time. There are three generations and one of our grandchildren is severely disabled. The cottage is ideal for us with wheelchair access on the ground floor. There are two ground floor bedrooms which fulfil our needs in terms of access. Nothing is too much trouble and the owners are very helpful and accommodating. We would highly recommend Barnacre Cottages.
