We recently stayed at Barnacre Cottages for my sister-in-law’s hen do, booking both The Oakhouse and Partridge Cottage. From start to finish, the experience was absolutely fantastic!
First off, a huge shoutout to Beth who helped me with the booking. She was unbelievably helpful and went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble for her, and her friendly approach made the whole planning process a breeze. AMAZING customer service!!
The cottages themselves were simply stunning. The pictures online don’t even come close to doing the place justice. Both T...more
We have stayed at barnacre a few times first visit was 2002 -
Loved the piggeries so spacious great for 3 generations of the family, cottage spotless and had everything you needed, .
Great outdoor space too, stunning views -
Was lovely to catch up again with the owners Terry and Sue and their daughter -
Would definitely recommend barnacre x
We had to find somewhere to stay to tick so many boxes…… so accommodating very new twins, just a few months old, with the double buggy that needs extra wide doors and ramps rather than flights of steps. Downstairs bedrooms for easy access. Plus x3 couples and x6 dogs, x4 that slept outside. An enclosed garden. All required prior to a family wedding that ran over 5 days. AND heavens you were so kind and everything was so easy to manage. The kitchen (indeed everything) was spotless with a great standard of equipment plus Miele washing machine in the utility !!!
THANK YOU for being so kind and ...more
Nice house with two very large rooms downstairs and 5 en suite bedrooms.
Kitchen was large enough too. The house is well proportioned for 16 guests.
Everything was excellent for our stay.
Hot tub was a bonus!
A brilliant, rural cottage with everything you could need for a family break.
Spacious rooms, lots of seating, lovely walks, a secure garden at the back, a tennis court for all to use, a fire pit and bbq area with an outside fridge, ample parking, the kitchen was full of everything needed, the owners had thought of everything. A washer and dryer, iron and board, hair dryers and alarm clocks in the bedroom draws.
Farm shop, supermarkets and entertainment centre was just a short drive away.
My family and I had a fabulous long weekend staying at Barnacre cottages
The Old Stables cottage was amazing. Decor was perfect, comfortable beds, there was everything we could possibly need, and more. The children played outside from breakfast til bed…tennis, games in the huge garden, football and there was even a family rounders match on the field one evening. Each day ended with a little drink and games around the fire pit
We really couldn’t have asked for anything better
