Had a wonderful week at Le Fournil, perfect escape from it all. Stunning location, magnificent cottages, lots to see and do. Loved it!
We had a marvelous time. The Cottage was well kept en clean. Had everything you needed. The only thing is the communication. On the dat of arrival we had a few urgent questions and tried several times to call the owner. He did not pick up not called is back. Eventually we figured things out, but that took a while. It would have been faster and less frustrating of we could have had contact by phone over the matter. Further we would definitely recommend the cottage.
All good - we arrived and the cottage we hadn't booked wasn't ready, so we were immediately upgraded to Scafell Cottage. Customer service is tested not when everything goes
We had a wonderful family holiday staying at La Grange - my parents, and our family of four (two children 6 and under). The house (and the site in general) is beautiful, well maintained and well equipped, and the surrounding countryside is absolutely idyllic. We enjoyed cycling along the river and the kids loved the pool and exploring the enormous garden! We found our way to lots of local attractions through the very helpful guestbook, such as the markets and a medieval living history museum, and the wonderfully varied beaches of South Brittany were easily accessible for a day trip. We all (5 adults and 3 children) very much enjoyed our stay at Wastwater Cottage. The cottage was very comfortable and superbly equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils etc. Toys were provided for our toddler and the older children were able to make full use of the garden area for cricket and football. We were also able to enjoy the barbeques provided. The lounge and dining areas were large enough for our group to be comfortable at all times. The piano was a bonus for our pianists. Lovely stay in the village of Boot. Lots of walking options. Eskdale valley is so beautiful. Now our favourite part of the Lake District. Very comfortable cottage to come home to at the end of a day’s walking. And 2 pubs just a short distance away for dinner. It was exactly what we needed for a 4 night stay.
The cottage was beautifully kept and well laid out. We had everything we needed in the cottage and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. The surrounding area is gorgeous and we went on lots of walks and swam in the surrounding rivers and tarn. We highly recommend this accommodation for visiting the local area
Cottage was quaint, comfortable clean and very well equipped with a nice private garden. It had everything we needed. Lovely views. The Boot Inn was excellent for food. Pity there wasn’t a small shop just with basics but all in all great stay
The location of La Garenne is truly wonderful, with beautiful views down the Blavet river, and a tremendously peaceful setting. There’s also a decent pool, and access to great cycling on the towpath along the river. All in all a lovely stay.
