This was a beautiful cottage with lots of thought going into making it a very comfortable stay. It was equipped to a very high standard and the kitchen had much more than the essentials. We had a lovely welcome from the owners who were on hand if needed. Garden cottage had a great sense of privacy and overlooked the glorious and beautifully kept gardens.
Our second stay with Heritage Escapes and the accommodation and service provided is perfect in every way. Top quality kitchen and bathroom fittings, and lovely soft furnishings. Communication with the owners is very good, they are always on hand to answer any queries or offer help. We stayed for three nights to enjoy some birdwatching on Bempton Cliffs, and the location just down the road from the RSPB reserve is ideal. We were also delighted to watch the newly hatched barn owl chicks on the live video feed, We have already booked to return!
We had a wonderful stay at the Owl House. James met us on arrival and was very welcoming. The downloadable guide was useful too. There was a generous welcome basket waiting for us. The property was well maintained, clean and very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped for a self catering stay. The immediate surroundings are really lovely and parking facilities good. It was a real delight to stay at the Cake House. Everything we needed was provided. The wild life was a treat, including seeing both barn owls flying. For us as birdwatchers, having RSPB Be pron Cliffs just down the road was brilliant. Also great for exploring the area and enjoying a totally chilling and relaxing holiday. To cap it all off, the sunsets were superb.
Our second stay at the Spinney. Even better in the spring weather. Everything you could need, very comfy, stylish, clean. Can't inagine there is anywhere better to stay in the area.

We have been visiting Field House Farm once or twice a year for the last 16 years. It is like a second home for our family. The charming cottages, in an idyllic setting, are always spotless, cozy and well maintained, with the Foster family on site to help should there be any minor issues.
Lovely apartment in a very quiet area but minutes from shops. Very well equipped and clean. May I suggest a small vacuum for crumbs. The apartment feels very secure and parking is a big asset. A great pub, Royal Oak, round the corner with good food. We had a fantastic roast on the Sunday. Couldn't fault the apartment in any way. Would definitely stay again.
Very comfortable cottage, lovely and warm and well equipped, additional benefit of separate lounge, quite farm location with good amenities for shopping in nearby Bridlington. Could benefit from a non- slip bath mat for shower tray. Perfect location for East coast towns of Filey and Hornsea and primarily Bempton Cliffs for RSPB.
I've lost count of how many times we've stayed in the Turnip House. It was lovely to be back for a week.
Immaculate, well equipped and very comfortable. The Granary was warm and cosy and It was nice to be met on arrival by very helpful and pleasant host. We very much enjoyed our stay, loved the live webcam to the owl box, also the wildflower meadow and close proximity to RSPB Bempton Cliffs.. Highly recommend and would definitely return.

ideally located in a very quiet area of York, within minutes walk of the Minster and other treasures. Great to have secure parking - especially since we were able to leave the car for the entire week. Lovely apartment which is extremely well equipped, stylish and very cosy. The bed in the master bedroom was so comfortable! The welcome basket was much appreciated. Excellent selection of books on the shelf providing information and entertainment. We really enjoyed our recent stay at the Old Dairy, where we were warmly welcomed by the Foster Family. The converted barn is well equipped, the super-sized bed is very comfortable and the welcome tray was a nice touch. Field House Farm is a working farm, but it was very quiet and we enjoyed a good night's sleep. The location is ideal for visits to the nearby RSPB Bempton Cliffs, which are teaming with wildlife. This was our first visit to the area, but we are hoping to make a return visit soon!
