This was our second visit to Garden Cottage and it was just as lovely as we remembered. It is spacious and very well designed with good quality and comfortable furinishings that make it homely and cosy. We enjoy the views from the garden room and the patio is a nice private area. The welcome hamper is much appreciated.
A brilliant weekend in this beautiful cottage. Very well equipped and the welcome hamper was amazing. It was really good to know what would be provided by the owners as stated on their website. A delightful cottage in a perfect location for visiting Bempton cliffs RSPB. Cottage is exceptionally clean, comfortable and beautifully appointed, situated in lovely grounds in a very peaceful location. It is our third visit to High Barn, and we'll definitely be back!

This was our second visit here which speaks for itself. Cottage well appointed and comfortable with a wonderful welcome hamper. Location is great, whether for touring or walking. Sledmere Gardens well worth a visit and of course Bempton Cliffs. The Owl cam made it for my wife. More time watching the owl than tv. Good too for EVs as don't have to worry about charging. Hosts were friendly and obliging. No doubt we shall visit again.
Lovely stay at the Hop Store - we parked our car when we arrived and didn't move it until we left! So much to see and do within the city walls we didn't need to go anywhere else. Thoroughly enjoyed the lovely welcome hamper too.
As usual everything about our stay at the Old Brewery was first class and we hope to be back again next year.
We had a very relaxing short break at Hind's Cottage . The property is well equipped and we found everything we needed. We enjoyed relaxing in the conservatory in the sunshine. We will certainky be looking at returning to Heritage Escape Properties again
First time we have stayed at High Barn. Both the inside and outside areas of The Granary were immaculate and to a high standard. We booked the accomadation based on previous reviews and were not disappointed. The owners welcomed us to the property on arrival which was a great start. The welcome hamper was the most impressive we have ever had. Inside everything felt luxurious and felt home from home. A lovely quiet location close to the coast. We especially enjoyed visiting Filey and Bempton RSPB.
The high standards set have always been maintained. Each year my family so look forward to our week on the farm. So many thank’s to the Fosters for giving us something we all appreciate.
Lovely characterful cottage and very spacious for two. Loved the sun room and watching the cows and hare whilst having our coffee. Cottage very good for my husband who has limited mobility, hence no stairs and no over bath shower not even a step at the entrance. For us personally some hooks/towel rail near to shower would have been useful. Really enjoyed our stay and we would book again.
The location is off the main road in a quiet location equidistant to the coast to the north and south and Flamborough Head. Car parking is within the square where the cottages are situated which makes loading and unloading the car easy. The Roost is all on one level on the ground floor, very well furnished and well equipped with all the items listed in the booking information. There is a sitting area outside with table and chairs. The property suggests the owners have clearly thought of the comfort of their guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our week there and the property was delightful.
We enjoyed a mid week break at The Byre. The accommodation is well appointed and equipped with anything one might need. The beds were super comfy and bedding felt luxurious. The cottage is situated on a working farm but was quiet and peaceful over looking the fields and grazing cattle. It is ideally situated for visiting the surrounding area. We would recommend to anyone looking for a chilled relaxing break.
The Malt House is a lovely apartment in walking distance to attractions and the shops in York. The car was safe in the space allocated which is gated. It is the cleanest property we have stayed in for holiday; it was so refreshing to see the saucepans and bakeware sparkling instead of dried food left by previous visitors. I could say the same thing about the condition of the bed and pillows. They were very clean. The owners are very nice and helpful. Would recommend.
We had an excellent short break in a well appointed cottage in a very pleasant part of the country. Easy access to coastal walks, RSPB Bempton and of course Bridlington. We will return.
