Lovely cottage in a good location. Had lots of nice touches and catered for everything we needed. Big garden and private patio. Would definitely book again.

A delightful cottage in a perfect location for visiting Bempton cliffs RSPB. Cottage is exceptionally clean, comfortable and beautifully appointed, situated in lovely grounds in a very peaceful location. It is our third visit to High Barn, and we'll definitely be back!
The Cake House for us ticked every box, the perfect accommodation for us, one of whom has limited mobility. As always the property was spotlessly clean and had everything and more that we could possibly need. Beautifully furnished and very comfortable throughout. A lovely welcome hamper on arrival was much appreciated. Loved watching the barn owl webcam! And of course the icing on the cake was that we had glorious weather all week. Would definitely recommend and certainly will return Many thanks to the Foster family, all your hard work has paid off X
We loved our stay in The Spinney. It was comfortable, spacious, quiet and only 5 minutes to Bempton Cliffs. And we particularly loved watching owl cam. Shame we didn’t see any ‘real’ owls outside the nest!

Beautiful apartment right in the centre of York. Close to the Minster and within easy walking distance of many of the city's attractions.
Our one week stay was very enjoyable thanks to the exceptional, spacious well equipped accommodation at Ostler's Corner. We were very close to the coast and within easy reach of many attractions on offer in East Yorkshire. Many thanks to John Foster and family for helping to make my wife and I very welcome.
The cottage was very comfortable, always good to have comfortable beds and sofas, very well equipped with everything needed including the best bike storage pod ever ( we've slept in worse). The location was great for eveerything we wanted to do, birdwatching at bempton, Flamborough, Tophill Low and Dalby, good if somewhat lumpier than expected cycling from the door. AND.......THE OWL CAMERA, absolutely enthralling watching the two owlets take their first venture from their house, better than the TV
Although the accommodation is on a working farm it is very comfortable, quiet and very well equipped. You are within easy reach of Flamborough and sewerby hall and there is a good pub just down the road well worth a visit. Another plus is they have 3 EV chargers.
This was our first time at FHF the roost and I have to say it exceeded our expectations,the cottage itself was clean & tidy & spacious enough for me to get around in a wheelchair,& there’s plenty of room outside for 2 cars to park.If you’re looking for a comfortable place to stay with all the mod cons that’s ideally situated to explore Bridlington & surrounding areas and offers peace & tranquility I’d recommend the roost at FHF all day long it’s 1st class.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage was very comfortable, quiet and had everything we needed. The cattle in the adjacent field were an added bonus. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would have no hesitation in booking again.
Our second stay at this property and another lovely week. Before our arrival we received an email with all the details on the property and local area which was really useful. The apartment is very clean and well presented. The location is great for getting around the city centre and there is an abundance of pubs and restaurants for eating out nearby. We would recommend the Tapas Restaurant on the corner of the road to the apartment. All in all a lovely stay.
An excellent location , beautiful coastline and wild life to enjoy. This week was perfect with a gentle sea breeze. The cottage was perfect for all our needs. A good place for return visits. The bonus this time was to see the dolphins at Flamborough head, amazing.
