Ash lodge had everything we needed for our stay. It was clean, warm and the bed was so comfortable. Relaxing in the hot tub after spending the day walking and exploring was lovely. Richmond castle and Easby Abbey are dog friendly as was the local pub where we had a delicious Sunday lunch. Would definitely recommend a stay at Flowery Dell…. I bet it’s even better in the summer months.
Always a pleasure to stay at the Flowery Dell The lodges are immaculate and have everything you need their the staff are second to none from arriving to leaving they are always on hand if needed We couldn't visit Richmond town on our last stay as Kaiser (the dog) was poorly but we made the most of the lodge ,hot tub and the surrounding area and couldn't think of a better way to bring in 2025 Thank you for the beautiful hamper and christmas card on arrival See you all next year x
Have stayed with Flowery Dell before and when we got our new family member we decided to spend his first Christmas here as our other dog used to love visiting! It was a fabulous Christmas and Winston and his humans abs loved it! The Christmas box was amazing and so thoughtful! Already looking to go back
We love coming to Flowery Dell and Chestnut is our favourite cabin, we came here for Xmas and our first wedding anniversary, it’s perfect for us, place is spotless, staff are excellent and will bend over backwards to make sure your stay is perfect, perfect place to chill
We had a wonderful stay and the lodge is lovely with beautiful surroundings. Very peaceful which is what we were looking for. It was our wedding anniversary and we were left a lovely gift of Prosecco with a message on our arrival. The weather wasn’t the best unfortunately but we enjoyed going out when we could then relaxing in the lodge. Thank you Flowery Dell.
This was the 18th time we have 'staycationed' at Flowery Dell and the high standards set by the team continue to impress us every visit. We are very familiar with the Wild Cherry Lodge and have had many happy holidays with friends and family here as it is spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. We really appreciate the special touches such as a card and local hamper to celebrate our birthday/anniversary. Loved the cabin and have been to the site before and love the place. Was a little bit expensive this time but I’m putting that down to it being over New Year.
We had a fantastic stay in our Willow Lodge. On entering the lodge we were really impressed. It was spotlessly clean,very warm and cosy and everything we needed to make our stay home from home, they even provided a decorated xmas tree. We walked into Richmond a couple of times, takes around 20 mins ....that's with a dog that wants to stop and sniff everything.( 5mins by car. ) You don't have to take groceries as they have plenty of great shops and a lovely Lidl in Richmond.
We have visited Flowery Dell on many occasions and we were not disappointed on this visit either. It is such a relaxing friendly place to visit so we really chilled out after the busy festive period. Love the walk down to Richmond on the country path - a little trickier this time due to the snow but really enjoyable and the dog loved it too. She loved the large field next to the lodges to let off some steam and was experiencing persistent snow for the first time( although it didn't actually snow during our stay there was still a lot from the week before). We stayed in Larch this time with our dog. The touch of the hamper and the wine for my husbands birthday was lovely. Property was great for our needs. The location is wonderful and Richmond itself is a charming place. The weather was not great with a storm on the Saturday. Unfortunately there was a power cut to the area on the Saturday evening. An emergency light came on in the property so we felt safe. It was cold and dark but that did not stop the owners springing into action, firstly fetching up a high powered torch and then they fetched a gas cannister for the calor gas heater. What a p...more
This was our second visit to Flowery Dell Lodges. We returned because we really like the accommodation and the location. The Lodge we stayed in was Whitebeam and had everything we needed and more. The sauna and hot tub were perfect therapy after long walks in the Dales. The kitchen was well kitted out for cooking a nice meal in the evening and there were even maps and walk guides which were very handy. Once walking, cooking and sauna...ing was over there is sky sports, Netflix etc on the large TV. We had a great 4 day stay de-stressing thanks to Flowery Dell Lodges.
Having spent 15 holidays including 4 at Christmas time, Flowery Dell is definitely our number 1 destination. We have stayed in Yew lodge 3 times now and it is a lovely lodge. It's smaller on the inside compared to the ones we usually stay in, but it's comfortable. The outside space really makes a difference and is ideal for us and our 2 dogs, who absolutely love their time here running around the huge field trying to outrun the rabbits. Richmond is a 15 min walk away and from there you can do any of the many walks available. Most of the shops and pubs are dog friendly. There are 2 local pubs...more

What a lovely relaxing place, the lodge was great very clean. A peaceful tranquil area to forget everything and chill. I really love this place and keep coming back because of the friendly atmosphere and good service the family provided.
We genuinely couldn't have been happier with our stay! From the moment of arrival and the warm welcome from the lovely lady in Reception everything was perfect, the lodge, the setting, even the weather as we arrived whilst there was still a lot of snow around. A perfect little getaway to relax and unwind, drinking fizz in the hottub on a freezing (-4) evening while the snow lay piled around was a real highlight! We will be back!
We had a very relaxing break between Christmas and new year at Flowery Dell, we stayed in the Wild Rose Lodge. The lodge was very well equipped and had everything you would need during your stay and it was warm, cosy and clean. There was a lovely welcome pack for our arrival with some nice goodies, also one for the dogs.. The hot tub was a great addition. The lodges are very dog friendly, there is a short walk in a wooded area and also a meadow which our dogs loved and plenty of poo bins.
