This was our second stay at Flowery Dell, having previously stayed in the 2020 February half term (just before lockdown!). We said at the time, this would be a lovely place to stay with a dog and we decided to bring our 1 year old miniature schnauzer this year. The lodge was so comfortable and has everything you need. A fantastic base camp to explore the Yorkshire Dales. Hopefully we will need leave it 5 years before we return. Thank you to all the worker bees that keep the place running smoothly.
We was a family of 5 with dogs staying in the Wild Cherry lodge, we had a wonderful time, the surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. We made good use of the bbq and hot tub. It’s a short walk into Richmond if you follow the footpath (turn left at the site entrance). This is 3rd time we have stayed at Flowery Dell and we highly recommend it.
Always a pleasure to stay at the Flowery Dell The lodges are immaculate and have everything you need their the staff are second to none from arriving to leaving they are always on hand if needed We couldn't visit Richmond town on our last stay as Kaiser (the dog) was poorly but we made the most of the lodge ,hot tub and the surrounding area and couldn't think of a better way to bring in 2025 Thank you for the beautiful hamper and christmas card on arrival See you all next year x
This was our second time staying at Flowery Dell. It was a very relaxing stay. The site is very dog friendly and staff are very welcoming. The lodge has everything you would need with lovely views watching the wildlife and listening to the birds with a glass of wine on the deck, it was so peaceful. The welcome hamper was a really nice touch. We had an enjoyable stay and will definitely be back again. Thank you.
We had a fabulous time at Flowery Dell. Lodge was spotlessly clean with everything we could possibly need and in a perfect peaceful location. An especially nice touch was that our two dogs got a welcome pack each. Other places we’ve stayed they get one to share. We loved it and the surrounding area so much that we have already booked to come back. We have also recommended it to our parents who have booked a stay for august.
We stayed five nights in the maple lodge. We loved every minute of our stay! The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed. The welcome pack was amazing! Along with some wine and chocolates for my birthday The hot tub was amazing and well kept! Our four legged pooch Isla loved watching the rabbits everyday! Very relaxing, amazing views and so much more! All the staff were lovely, very welcoming and friendly! Thank you so much for our amazing stay, we will definitely back! ❤️
As returning customers we cannot thank Michelle and her team at Flowery Dell enough for making our stay amazing. We choose Hawthorn lodge because of its location, views, tranquility, comfort and much more. The positives about Flowery Dell are too long to list however the negatives are yet to be found. We love Flowery Dell and will return soon
We stayed for a week and although the weather wasn’t so good we had a relaxing time with some nice walks with the 3 Labradors. They love this place and the rabbits keep them entertained on the main field and there are so many sniffs to be had. The local pubs are excellent and the George and Dragon has one excellent ales and nice home cooked style food. This place is our little escape.
Great value. Everything you need in lodge. 9 out of 10. 3rd visit to flowery dell Richmond. Would defo recommend.
Absolutely perfect was not one thing wrong at all we have booked another stay already. Very clean and kitchen was very good had everywhere there to cook with
Stayed the one night with my girlfriend. The place was spotless, the grounds were lovely. Sauna and hot tub are a lovely touch along with the hamper on arrival. We will definitely be returning. Thank you flowery dell.
Beautiful lodges in a perfect setting. Love the fact that we can take our dog with us, e didn't use the hot tub but I guess most people would love that it's available to use. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay there, peaceful and quiet and has all the things you will need for a holiday
This is the second visit to the beautiful Flowery Dell and it doesn’t disappoint. Birch is a beautiful place to stay, very comfortable, clean, has everything you could possibly need and more! The hot tub is fantastic and very well maintained. Table and chairs outside to relax and listen to the birds, watch the wildlife and just forget about everything for while. Myself, son 11 and adult daughter with additional needs, enjoyed walking beside the river in Richmond, just a short drive away. Beautiful lodge, everything you need and more. Very peaceful. Staff are very helpful, friendly and always happy to see you! They left a lovely bottle of Merlot as a gift for my partners birthday, so thoughtful. Be back again soon!!!
We stayed in the sycamore lodge and it was beautiful nice and peaceful with wonderful views it’s a place to unwind and chill in the hot tub which is tested every day for cleanliness
We have stayed here several times now. Lovely quiet location, great place to relax and enjoy the hot tub. First time we've stayed in Yew and although it didn't distract from our break, the interior of the lodge was a bit disappointing compared to the other lodges we've stayed in. It felt tired and in need of a refresh. Paintwork was chipped and marked, mismatched wallpaper in the main bedroom and the double bed was very creaky waking me up each time one of us turned over. Would definitely stay again but not in this lodge. Great customer service.
We came for a friend’s birthday and had a great time. The lodge was immaculate, well equipped and even left little touches like a hamper and bottle of bubbly. Beds were so comfy. From booking to checking in the staff were so lovely. Location is great - we walked into Richmond and lots of walks etc around. The only tiny problem was the shower temperature. But I’m sure if we would have asked they would have sorted it. Would definitely come back
