This was our 2nd stay at Flowery Dell after a 20yr gap. The site and accommodation are fabulous and are located in a great area for those that love the outdoors. We had a great 3 night stay and will no doubt return. Faultless.
Lovely stay ..clean and comfortable only wish we could have checked out but later 11.30 am 12 maybe as check in after 3pm ..really enjoyed our stay will b back again
I’ve been coming to Flowery Dell for over 17 years. It’s a beautiful location and you feel transported into nature and feel miles from anywhere. Beautiful Richmond is minutes away and very easy to walk to. It’s a great base for exploring all the market towns and York is only an hour away by car. The lodges are well maintained, spacious and full of home comforts. Highly recommend especially if you are a dog owner, dogs are so well catered for in the lodges and the surrounding areas.
What a lovely Holiday stay we had and the welcome pack for us ladies & the dogs ( little toy, biscuits, towels for wet paws, great thought and saved used my own) was a lovely touch, as well as the very thoughtful bottle of Rose for our birthdays! Which went down lovely watching Strictly on Saturday night, thank you. The lodge was really warm and welcoming, and very easy to maintain the temperature, and fully equipped for TV, Sky, Netflix, Prime. Me and my family had a lovely time staying at Wild Cherry lodge. The lodge was well equit with everything we needed. It was very clean and we all slept well in the comfortable beds. It was very peaceful and we loved seeing all the rabbits and squirrels running around. The hot tub was brilliant to use after a day of lots of walking. The kids were very happy that we could get kids channels on the sky box and that their was some board games for them to play. We also got a lovely welcome hamper which was much appreciated. Would definitely love to stay again as we had the best time.
We spent a week at this lovely family run site , the Lodge had everything needed for our stay. This is a small site with approx 16 lodges and is very clean and tidy. It is also dog friendly. I would highly recommend (and hav allready done so .)

We contacted the Flowery Dell staff to ask if they could accommodate a last minute get away for us and our fur baby, Sadie. They were very obliging and helpful making sure we were made to feel welcome for our return. Maple lodge was ready for our early arrival and we were warmly welcomed with a smile as always. Maple was extremely clean and well equipped. We settled in and made ourselves at home before taking a walk around the site and taking in the peaceful surroundings, nature and wildlife and the tranquility that Flowery Dell oozes in abundance. Flowery dell was a lovely place to stay. We had a relaxing time. The lodge was spotless and it was really peaceful.
Absolutely beautiful place and so peaceful Really enjoyed my relaxing birthday weekend as was my first time visiting Flowery Dell lodges and will definitely be back, such a lovely clean lodge Loved being in nature and even woke up to a baby deer outside the window fabulous Thoroughly recommend this place.
We booked the bank holiday weekend stay at Flowery Dell staying in Larch lodge. The area was lovely and quiet, a few lodges around a central area, none of the lodges overlooked the rear balcony area where the hot tub was. The lodge was really clean and had lots of extras in the property, like books, leaflets and magazines about the surrounding area. also a lovely little yorkshire hamper welcome box and a little dog welcome kit. Staff we spoke to were really friendly.
Fantastic stay with gorgeous amenities of sauna and hot tub and beautiful views. Very close to Richmond. Would love to come back!
Lovely break in a lovely quiet area. Could not complain at anything. Excellent service as standard. Third time visiting. Only thing that could be improved is maybe some bikes to hire to enjoy the lovely countryside on your doorstep.
A very enjoyable stay with some lovely weather. The lodge was in a nice location and very well maintained. The only problem was with the bathroom and en-suite shower they were both very tight for us with limited mobility. We appreciated the disability pack but that just took up extra room. We loved the area and seeing all the wildlife e.g. rabbits around.
We go to Flowery Dell every year. It’s very peaceful, the Staff are very friendly and would do anything for you. We can’t wait to go back.
Repeat visit to Flowery Dell and will come again. My family and I have been visiting for many years and our friends and family have also stayed based on our feedback. Lovely, idyllic location and all lodges are well equipped, toasty warm and any needs are catered for, just ask. Definitely recommend, thanks for a lovely time.
