This was our 4th visit to River Rest and yet again we were not disappointed. Everything about the property makes you come away feeling so relaxed. Tina was as attentive as ever, she goes above and beyond to make sure the customers are happy. There was lots of fishing, although I did not have the same opportunity this year as we spent more time away from the lodge. Looking forward to returning next year. Thank you to all the NHL team.
Although you have to drive down the service road to get to Ferry Lodge it all helps to make the magic when you park up and open the wooden get to your holiday break. You will find a very clean and comfortable place that offers you a total relaxing vibe from the minute you step onto the decking and take in the view of the river, and after setting in you will enjoy waving to the boating folk as they pace bye and it makes that drink weather it be a glass of wine, beer or a cup of coffee or tea taste even better. Wonderful place shame about the fishing (WEED), very comfy only thing I would say and that’s it could do with 2 comfy settees , this is not a complaint just not Good for us oldies , would recommend anyone to book this property
What an amazing cottage. Everything you could need for a lovely holiday. Spotlessly clean. Brilliant location. We had the pleasure to meet Tracy when we arrived , very welcoming and helpful. We will definitely return 10/10 for everything
We arrived and were immediately impressed with the spectacular veiws across the river Yare. All mod-cons were afforded without aircon though this was not required during our stay. The decking is completely secure with those with children or dogs. Would thoroughly recommend and will return soon.
Hi well equipped lodge, just a few things that could improve it would be a small drinks table in the lounge area. Drinks had to go on the floor. Also brought our own torch, just a little one from Amazon always comes in handy, maybe it could be something to provide guests. Hubby is a fisherman and the trees were a little bit of an issue. We saw them in the photos but they’ve grown a bit since then.
Absolutely loved our stay in river bay everything in the lodge was absolute quality very very comfortable and everything we needed, it was very quiet and very peaceful it was lovely sitting on very comfortable outdoor furnature watching the swans and ducks
We have just returned from a wonderful week at Nature's Nook. We arrived a bit early for check in, but the accommodation was all ready and Tina was amazing and happy for us to check in. Tina was so warm and welcoming and clearly took a lot of pride in ensuring the accommodation was spick and span for our arrival, a real perfectionist which made for a very clean and lovely start to our week, The lodge is fantastic and in a perfect location for fishing and sitting watching the boats go by. We had a wonderful stay at River Breeze. The accommodation was really clean, very well maintained and in a quiet and peaceful location. We enjoyed sitting out on the decking in the evenings overlooking the water and exploring the broads by boat during the day. There is a lovely cafe at the end of the marina which took around 10 minutes to walk to and we also hired kayaks and paddle boards from Pub and Paddle which were delivered directly to the property. Had another great stay at River View. We went for my wife's special Birthday to a place she loves. I took my small fishing boat and launched it using NHL'S own slipway which is very handy for all the properties. ( I am lucky that the wife also loves fishing ). The large front garden also gives me a safe place to park my trailer. And the river side garden is somewhere we love to sit in the evening after fishing.
