Shepherds Lodge is finished to a high standard and was very clean and comfortable. Although on a plot next to other rental properties it is very private, with the garden and property overlooking open fields. The location is only a short walk from local amenities and the stunning beach of Beadnell, with numerous walks from the Lodge. We had a very comfortable stay at the Lodge, it felt very homely. The welcome gifts were a lovely touch and much appreciated (the cake was gorgeous). I would have no hesitation in highly recommending Shepherds Lodge and would be more than happy to return.
If you want time out just to completely relax this is the place. It was just what we needed, Even through Storm Burt
Lovely couple of days in the Sanderling love the log burner and hot tub. Bed really comfortable and the water piping hot. Couldn’t get the kitchen sink plug to work and there wasn’t a washing up bowl and found it very dark outside as the solar lights weren’t working so had to use torch on phones this didn’t spoil out stay in any way but might be helpful to others
A lovely house for a holiday weekend. Well-equipped, spacious (we were a group of 5) and a great location. Friendly and helpful host too!
Lovely cottage. Really cozy with fabulous views from the garden. You can watch the sheep in the field going about their day or marvel at the fabulous views. Very comfortable beds and linen and everything you could need. Highly recommended.
Shepherd’s cottage is comfortable and deceptively spacious. Conservatory is beautiful, Games room is incredible and snooker and pool tables are as new. Bathrooms need an upgrade but I believe that’s going to happen in the near future. All in all a good choice for our family get- together!
