Welcomed by a gorgeous cake, chocolate and Prosecco package, our stay continued to be marvellous. Shepherd's Lodge is stylish, comfortable, every need catered for. The garden is a delight with a variety of birds, BBQ and large garden table and furniture. It's well placed, 15 minutes walk to Beadnell with beautiful beach and fossiling, Long Nanny bird Sanctuary for Arctic Terns (Plus one lost Black American Tern!). We stayed here as a family of three and a dog for 2 nights. It was perfectly sized for us. The accommodation was clean and well stocked. The hot tub was perfect and instructions were clear. I have never slept in a bed so comfortable! Well placed for beadnell and exploring the Northumberland countryside. We will be hurrying back!
I booked The Sanderling for my partner and I as a weekend getaway to switch off and relax. We couldn't have been happier when we arrived, with the hut being warm and inviting. Everything has been thought of and we wanted for nothing. The view out across the field is spectacular and is even better in the early morning sun when the rest of the world is sleeping. We will return for definite, an amazing couple of days. Thanks to Sam and the team for making it so relaxing.
Benthall House is a large, spacious well-equipped detached holiday let with views straight out to sea from near Beadnell harbour. We were short of nothing inside the house and it is very close to lots of interesting places. There are plenty of walks and cycle routes in the area too. Just a note that at present (Jan 2025) there is no local shop in Beadnell - the nearest is in Seahouses, but this wasn't a problem once we knew. The owners were excellent in their communications and we would definitely recommend this property and return ourselves.
Our 3rd visit to The Bothy, and it didn't disappoint. Very well equipped, great views over the fields towards Bambrough Castle. Very comfortable beds, and Polly the Pointer loved Grandma's treats. So good we have recommended it to our neighbours who are due to visit shortly.
we came with three children ,their families and three dogs. the house was roomy and offered everyone comfort and space. the kitchen is excelllent and the bbq hut a treat.
