We had a lovely 2 weeks in Seascape with family fun on the beach and invigorating dog walks. Shops close by made self catering a pleasure with a few barbecues in the garden and some takeaways too. Well appointed kitchen and lovely comfortable home, well decorated & kitted out for the whole family with WiFi & Sonos. Even with many local attractions we didn’t venture far on our second visit to this delightful cottage.
Our stay in Berry Barn Cottage was to celebrate my husband's 70th Birhday. Our whole family joined us and 2 family dogs. To say our stay was perfect was an understatement, from start to finish it was something we will remember forever, this cottage is an absolute joy. Everything is in place and thoughtfully provided, spotlessly clean and so welcoming, we will visit again soon.
For us this has been a family favourite since our children were very small. This seaside idyll is the perfect escape in a wonderful location and the owners have lovingly furnished it with everything you could/ would need. In our view the best holiday let you could have.
This was a lovely property which was well presented throughout and where we were able to safely bring and care for an elderly relative who was attending the family wedding. Rooms were all nicely presented and adequately furnished/equipped. We would be delighted to recommend this property to others, given that we had such a pleasant experience during our stay. The lounge and kitchen area were spacious, opening out to a pleasant garden. Bedrooms were nicely presented and adequate. There was a nice patio area with attractive wooden furniture which was in good condition. Had the weather been bad...more
Right on the beach, kept in excellent conditions, spacious luxury We had 8 family members staying in comfort. seamless arriving and leaving, with 3 excellent car parks and everywhere walkable. A lovely place whatever the weather.
Our week here in September was perfect. Turritella is roomy with all the facilities you need for a self catering holiday. The views from the kitchen/living room are wonderful and the roof terrace is a real oasis of calm, with big skies and views. It's a great place to have a relaxed holiday - lots of space to chill out with family or friends. We keep coming back to Turritella. It's so quick and easy to get to the shops in East Wittering (we usually bring bikes too) and there are lots of walks and bike rides in the area -to East Head with its huge stretches of beach, Itchenor - with a small pas...more
Lovely comfortable property. Very well equiped with all you need. Lovely garden great for sitting out when weather good. Very close to the sea and village centre short walk away.
We (2 adults, 3 kids) had a really lovely stay at this property. The property is located in a great position near West Wittering, and East Wittering also very close by. From the property it is a simple walk to the beach (useful with 3 small kids). The kids loved the garden and the summer house. We'd definitely stay here again.
Excellent stay, lovely apartment with splendid double-aspect views. Very convenient for walks on the beach & local village amenities.
Everything you will need for a wonderful vacation. Great location within private road, walking distance from West Wittering beach, off-road parking for at least 3 cars. Lovely, quiet secure private garden for young children to play. We enjoyed our stay here very much. Thank you to Baileys, we have rented numerous property’s over many years and always receive the same efficient service.
This was our second visit to Dolphins. Lovely location and the house and garden works wonderfully for our family - children and granddaughter. It was exceptionally hot weather this year but the house remained cool. Lots of space for everyone to relax. Short walk to the beach. Booking again for next year.
A wonderful house in a fantastic location, to suit all generations. Perfect for our family for a memorable week.
MANY good points - modern fittings, bathrooms, comfortable beds and a well maintained clear garden plus useful home-from-home appliances which we made good use of with a small baby and lots of washing. Smart TV and WiFi worked fine and a good time was had by all. The location is good for getting to the beach (it turns out that the baby liked the pebbles as much as the sand) and easy to get to the sandy section down at West Wittering, as long as you can walk reasonably well or are happy to pay for the very large car park which is about two miles away. The pros easily outweigh the cons, ...more
Our stay at this beautiful house was out of this world, the decor and layout is fantastic, close to village shops /cafes and 5 mins from the beach. Truly magical beautiful Home .
Quirky bungalow converted from railway carriages situated right by the sea. Garden protected from wind by thick tamarisk hedge great for sitting outside. Ample parking.
Great little place . It would be great to have deck chairs to be able to enjoy the garden more in a sunny day . The back garden door needs to be fixed as very flimsy and was a challenge to keep closed during high winds . Otherwise a great place . Thank you
A lovely situated cottage, a very short distance to beach and a short distance to shops, restaurants, etc. A spacious property downstairs with great outdoor spaces. The property was ideal for our needs. There are a couple of repairs needed in the kitchen area but am sure these are easily and quickly resolved.
Great location right on the seafront. Parking a bit is a nightmare. Apartment aittle tired could do with a new suite in the lounge . Also a new bed for main bedroom. Not comfortable. Would go again though as location fantastic.
This was my 2nd visit with my family, one age 80, Last year perfect! This year, stains on bedding, sticky cupboards with hair, Dirty glasses, Couldnt contact estate agents on the sat about all this, just kept getting a message record. Had to go and buy lots of cleaning things, to clean what wasnt done. Due to covid-19 we wasnt happy that the bungalow wasnt DEEP CLEANED. For the amount of money we paid for the week we found all this very upsetting. The bungalow itself is stunning in a great location, and after we had to do the cleaning etc, we did have a good time, however after feeling not saf...more
Very impressed on arrival with the cleanliness and condition of the property. House well maintained and extremely child friendly. Great for a family holiday as we were grandparents sharing the property with family. My granddaughter loved all the facilities there for children and made very good use of them which in turn kept her entertained all week. Short walk to the beach. Did use the car to shop in the village but it is within walking distance but too far if you had heavy shopping. The house is a home from home right down to toilet seats fir the little ones a bed guard if required and boos...more
The superb location of no5 brings us back every year the flat is comfortable but maybe a little updating would make it even better. Rather concerned about cleaniless especially in the current circumstances three bedroom cupboard drawers had dirty clothes (underwear) obviously left by previous occupants in them luckily we had brought disposable gloves and sanitiser with us not really sure who is responsible for the cleaners but think maybe someone could mention that the drawers should be checked. Despite the previous comments we enjoyed our holiday very much and havw booked again for next ye...more
This is our third year in no 46 and we will be returning. The location is perfect for shops and right on the beach front for early morning swims! Hope by next year the 3rd bulb in bathroom will have been fixed, two years too long! Its the little things which make me write Good and not Excellent!
Absolutely delighted with the apartment. Parking right outside the door. More spacious than it looks in the advert. Beautiful view of the sea from living areas plus the balcony. Great for the kids - straight on to the beach from the garden - no roads to cross. Well equipped and seemingly recently re-furbished to a very high standard. Will almost certainly re-book next year.
We enjoyed another great week in this lovey apartment. The views from the lounge and balcony are stunning .The location is great being walking distance to good shops and amenities.Cant wait to return next year !
We had a great relaxing week. Perfect quiet location and we loved the house. Only issues we had as follows: We could not get the hob to work all week - it needs instructions Top bunk mattress is poor - you can feel the springs The Shower is not easy to turn on and off - the children could not switch it off We could not get ITV channel to work on the tv Could have done with the following: Tea towels Placemats Parasol for the garden
We were 6 adults so chose this house for the 3 bedrooms 3 bathrooms, we weren’t disappointed, plenty of space, good sized bedrooms and lovely open plan kitchen, dining, living space. The location is superb with a path leading straight onto the beach and just a few minutes walk from all amenities. Would definitely book this house again and the team at Baileys are brilliant at what they do, nothing was too much trouble, just first class customer service.
We had a wonderful time and everything about the house worked very well. The garden was beautiful and it’s location is perfect.
A very nice place in a brillant location. Very responsive agents in sorting out the only issue with the house alarm. Very spacious and high quality accommodation. Nice garden for eating and relaxing in. 100m from beach and close to East Wittering shops made Sea Shanty an ideal location. Would definitely stay there again.
We had an excellent holiday at Tailwinds. The house was in a great location, on seafront, with West Wittering beach in walking distance, as well as shops and restaurants in East Wittering. The house gave us lots of space, was very well maintained, and everything you needed with respect to kitchen crockery and utensils. We would definitely return.
Lovely position perfect size. Just perhaps needs a good spring clean. Balieys staff were great. Good customer service.
Well equipped family house, with a lovely garden and pool..............................................,
Saltwater is a lovely house situated in a prime position. Views from the balcony were stunning and with access onto the beach made this house a real hit with the family. As a result we had a most enjoyable stay and have already booked for next year.
The conditions are poor in the bathrooms (mould growing all around the bath and shower), walls unpainted. The beds are very hard and uncomfortable, slats are broken. The placement is perfect and can see the sea from the main bedroom. The owners should: - remove all the clutter, and follow Government COVID-19 guidelines. - change all mattresses. - renovate the main bathroom and insert shaving plug to charge electric toothbrush. - remove all unnecessary kitchen products. - remove old sun loungers. - replace the outdoor washing line (rusty and totally unusable). Make someones stay feel t...more
Lovely cottage, very comfortable, all facilities needed for a welcome Autumn break. Unfortunately BT wifi inconsistant
The cottage furnishings need attention they were well worn if not scruffy. Security was a problem the bedroom window in the third bedroom cannot be closed and is accessible from outside. The stair are dangerous with no hand rail as we are getting on we had to be very cautious. The lady next door who was younger mentioned that she had fallen, luckily was unhurt. Parking on weekend as difficult we had a note to leave in the car, but many cars had these notes and the owners were not staying in the cottages.
we were very excited to visit seagate court as my grandparents took me there every year as children. We stayed in September so prices were at £695 for 1 week. On arrival the flat seemed a little tired but ok, the kitchen was modern and clean with washer/dryer and dishwasher. The bedroom was tired but ok, however the mattresses were awful! So thin, old and hard that you could feel the slats digging in your ribs. The bathroom......well it was gross! The shower curtain was an old plastic one and covered in black mould, it clearly wasn't cleaned, these should be atleast fabric and changed/wa...more
Great location House damp - sofas had to be covered in sheets Floors had not been cleaned for some time Bedding poor (mattresses not good). No chair in bedrooms No cushions for garden furniture - had to buy our own. Garden unkept Property could do with an additional walk in shower - 1 not enough Kitchen facilities good but could do with serving dishes. Front garden had rubbish on lawn which I cleared up and also a dead hedgehog which had been there for some time. I also disposed of this. Blinds on all windows need replacing Overall property needs some tlc but great location a...more
Superb location, cleanliness ok (but forgiveable) and amenities good. Location - right on the beach and all shops and facilities with 1 minute walk - not to be faulted. Perhaps take a few towels - as a little limited in supply (but not a complaint). TV Good, kitchen facilities good, bedding good, drier and washing machine - good.
We were delighted with the location of the property. Stunning view's from master bedroom. Good shower's. Brilliant addition of fire basket on private beach area. It was fantastic watching the sunset sitting round an open fire. Most essentials in situ but it lacks a few basics. In the Master bedroom:- A dressing table or equivelant. A chair. A toilet door. This is essential!! Bath is very exposed and tap not very secure. The walk in wardrobe area had inset lights but no switch? Elsewhere:- Hooks for robes & or clothes in all bathroom's. The single beds are much too low which is ...more
We really liked Summerlaize, it is full of character and we liked the fact that there were many of the original features and also that it didnt have wifi!! The kitchen was really spacious and nice to cook in and the verandha was our favourite spot. Whilst we enjoyed the original features, we cannot say that of the matresses on the beds which are very very uncomfortable and need replacing (or add a topper mattress). The back garden is potentially a really nice space but a bit more upkeep would make it much nicer (instead of dead plants and shrubs), we planted some geraniums etc. in the plant...more
This is the third time we have stayed at 1the g g I think that speaks for itself although the weather wasn’t kind being in a cosy property makes things better.
Our second visit we where hoping that the condition of the house and garden would have improved since last year but no such luck. Bathroom and living room flooring could do with replacing and a tidy up of the garden would make it almost perfect Cleanliness could also do with improvement cooking utensils and were cooker were very grubby. Found two mouldy cabbages and a bag of sprouting potatoes in a cupboard.
