A delightful cottage in one of the best and quietest locations in the area. A perfect base for coastal walks. Private resident parking is a bonus. Whilst the whole area of East Head is undoubtedly very busy in the peak summer season as a designated "Blue Beach", this is a little gem tucked away from the crowds. We have stayed here twice and will definitely return. The kitchen is well equipped and furniture very comfortable. A pretty garden and a small suntrap around the front porch area. The bathroom is modernised with underfloor heating but misses a stand up shower, however a hand held fi...more
We've now stayed at Fairhaven for 3 consecutive years, that sums it up as regards a review. If you come back 2 times there is not much greater endorsement of a Holiday Let, (and the people that manage it : thanks staff @ Baileys !!). Overall apart from 3 stays at Fairhaven we also visited East Wittering, (staying at another Baileys run Holiday Let), in 2012, and 2013), which is also a more general endorsement, for East Wittering, as a place to spend a holiday. One final recommendation, we are looking to return next year !!
Lanka Court is an ideal property, home from home. My sons hired Lanka Court, it was ideal for them close to shops and restaurants, and they had superb weather. Thank you Baileys for your help. Sheila Mitchell & family
What a great place lovley apartment lovley bars and restaurants and weather was georgous I couldn't fault it
Turritella is a fabulous place to stay. It feels light and spacious with plenty of room for eight people. Keeping the hedge low gives wonderful views of the sea and it is a delight to sit outside and watch the world go by - depending on the weather! The kitchen is well provided for with everything you need. We usually take bikes down and it's only a three to four minute ride into East Wittering for more supplies. Having two butchers, two greengrocers and two small supermarkets so close is brilliant. The staff at Baileys are always helpful and cheerful. Can't recommend Turritella highly enough.
If you want a beautiful house in a fabulous location this is it. The minute you open the front door and see straight through to the sea views at the back, you know this house is special. The furnishings are stylish and the house is light, bright and spacious. You need never use the car as the beach and shops are on the doorstep. We had a wonderful, totally relaxing week, and were sorry to leave as we would have loved to stay an extra week! Can’t think of anything that was lacking apart from a guest book to write how fabulous our holiday was.
Lovely comfortable property. Very well equiped with all you need. Lovely garden great for sitting out when weather good. Very close to the sea and village centre short walk away.
Great house and perfect location for a weekend break with friends. Kids room with 4 bunk beds a huge hit with the little people as was the trampoline and the well stocked playroom. We stayed during February half term and super lucky with the weather. Would love to come back and enjoy the full benefits of the location in the summer.
The house is a good home from home for grandchildren. The redecoration and updated TV are welcome. The ongoing work outside meant the bathroom fan was not working but this didnt matter. We are seeking to reserve for next year.
Sea Shanty is a lovely new build modern property, very close to the beach. Enjoyed staying and would do so again.
we really enjoyed our stay.2 small issues. No shelves in the bathroom and wobbly taps but ignorable.
Really enjoyed our stay at Samphire with grown up children and their partners and two small dogs. Well thought out property, comfortably furnished with enough room to relax whatever the weather & great location for the beach.
Perfect for a quiet and peaceful break beside the sea. Accommodation very comfortable with everything you need during your stay. So nice to wake up to panoramic views of the sea through the windows whatever the weather. Location of apartment ideal - quiet for relaxing and the cities of Chichester, Portsmouth and others easily reached for when you want to venture out. Would definitely recommend
This is our third stay at the Breeze, it’s a fab property for large families. The property has unrestricted views of the beach and balances well with just enough walking traffic going past, not to disturb our privacy. The layout of the property has been well thought out and is furnished to an excellent standard of finish for a rental property. In regards to value for money, the property is starting to show lack of attention to detail from our first visit last year 2018. These being items such as chips on china plates and dishes, utensils unwashed, fridge, oven and microwave looking well...more
Beds very comfortable, lounge very comfortable. Bathrooms very good. Not enough cutlery to fill up dishwasher. All black handled kitchen knives were terribly blunt. We had to use own. Sun lounge - great extra dining space but needs blinds or a few parasols (we had brought our own. I had spotted the lack of blinds on the photos) to eat in hot summer weather. Central heating - an absolute pain to use, if trying to set timer. Timer does not seem to work at all over the weekend.Yes, we had read instructions, which were also a pain. The weather was particularly unseasonable during our stay the...more
We took children and grandchildren and the property suited well. Space for all to suit all. Well equipped. Great location. Good attention to detail to make it feel home from home.
This is the third stay at Sea Pinks, excellent location, near the beach in a quiet road & near the shops & restaurants Nice secluded garden & parking for 2 cars Very large bedrooms with comfortable king size beds & the upstairs bedroom has sea views Property has tumble dryer which is very useful as there are no outside drying facilities
Thoroughly enjoyed staying in 11 Seagate Court. Sitting in front of the floor to ceiling windows with our morning cup of tea, looking at the wonderful views. The flat had everything we needed. Will definitely go back.
Lovely accomadation, but feel things need updating .ie carpets badly need replacing, sure it would much more suitable to have wooden floors, as so many people holiday here...
I love staying at seagate court. Absolutely stunning views across the sea and just a perfect location
Lovely location by the sea. Clean, newly renovated house close to the sea. Very well equipped. Quiet residential area. Had 2 Airbnb's cancel on us and found this house through Baileys for a visit to Goodwood FOS. Was as cheap to stay for week as a weekend in other places in area (as prices are so hiked for Goodwood weekends). Plus the Friday to Friday booking suited us. Lovely area and house. Would definitely use Baileys again.
A very comfortable house in a good location for walking access to the beach and good nearby shops. Very well equipped and the large kitchen, dining room and lounge were perfect for our party of 8 including grandchildren.
We had a great relaxing week. Perfect quiet location and we loved the house. Only issues we had as follows: We could not get the hob to work all week - it needs instructions Top bunk mattress is poor - you can feel the springs The Shower is not easy to turn on and off - the children could not switch it off We could not get ITV channel to work on the tv Could have done with the following: Tea towels Placemats Parasol for the garden
East Wittering is a great location and Seagate Court is ideally placed right on the beach. 46 Seagate Court is a second floor apartment and has a new kitchen with the whole property being in good condition when we checked in. Disappointed that the main door handle lock didn’t work but getting access to the compound, with good parking and into the block was easy. 46 looks right out over the sea and it’s main feature should be the balcony. However the glass panels are opaque so whilst you can sit out on the balcony you can’t see anything! View out of kitchen window great and so is the view from ...more
Was staying in another accommodation and wanted a short break for rest of family (4 adults 2 teenagers and 2 toddlers) to stay to celebrate a 70th birthday. Property ideal - big conservatory for family meal. Bedrooms ideal 2 up 2 down. Toddlers loved toys. Son in law kites access straight on beach. Beautiful view of sea from balcony.
Whyteways worked out very well for our family. Not far from East Wittering town centre and near the beach. The cottage was great with a lovely garden & good rooms
The flat was extremely comfortable and in an ideal location. The wifi was very good. The heating system is so out of date (electric storage heaters) that I brought my own oil filled radiator which was far more efficient and cheaper to use. The only complaint is that that there is no mobile signal to be had anywhere on the estate which is very frustrating.
The house is in a lovely location and the views to sea and Isle of Wight on good weather days are special. This is the 6th year the Family have used the house and whilst there have been improvements( new carpets and redecoration) some of the fixtures (pictures/furniture) are looking tired. The cleaning in general was good but the oven of the cooker needed a good clean and needs a grill tray provided.
All was very enjoyable, just a shock to have no internet - read through and it did not promise internet but I would have liked this drawn to my attention.
Good value place to stay, in an excellent quiet location, convenient for both the village and the beach.
Good, comfortable accommodation. Somewhat distant from the village, nearer to Bracklesham than East Wittering. This is not the fault of the owners or Baileys but the shortest way into the village is almost impassable for disability scooters due to speed humps and potholes, resulting in having to detour via more suitable roads.
Good location, facilities good, single beds ok for children not so good for adults..................
1. On arrival - house name almost impossible to see . very narrow entrance lane. 1 shower not working.house info booklet difficult to read. no drying up cloths. 2. Kitchen - needs sink bowl, paper towel holder, cooker cleaning kit 3. Sitting - settees so deep they are difficult to get out of. lots more cushions needed. coffee table needed. 4. Main bedroom. insufficient drawers 5. Main ensuite. Noisy extractor fan which goes on for ages 6. Showers - no shelves to put shampoo & body wash bottle on 7. Waste bins. - none in any rooms except dustbins in kitchen
