On the second floor with lift access, it has a sunny south western aspect and spectacular views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight. The far-reaching views extend along the shore to East Head, Portsmouth and to the Isle of Wight.

This clean, comfortable and well-appointed flat could not be closer to the beach. This was our second stay in this particular property. All equipment necessary for our stay was provided. Local shops and eateries are a short walk away. From this quiet flat you can enjoy wonderful sea views and spectacular sunsets. The staff at Bailey’s are always friendly and very efficient. Highly recommended.

The flat is in the perfect location for close access to the beach and has fantastic views from every window with the balcony facing the sea. (Shame about the balcony glass not being clear). The flat is comfortable and clean with almost everything that is needed for a self catering beach holiday. The carpet was brand new so we had to be very careful by leaving shoes outside the door. It might help to have an extended mat outside and inside the door or a shoe storage basket. A mirror in the main bedroom would also be useful. The bathroom was fairly basic with no storage or any kind of heated towel rail which would be beneficial. Otherwise a great property which we have already booked again. This is our favourite flat so far in terms of views and location. We are very grateful to the owners for sharing their holiday home!

We have been staying in this property since 2014 and are very happy with it - it is very close to the beach so we can enjoy the views of the sea and all of the ships that are out there, not to mention the surfers, paddle boarders and swimmers, it is also very close to the village which suits us well.
Angela and Freddie at Baileys are always very helpful and especially on this occasion because the lift in our block had broken down prior to our stay - Angela and Freddie had kindly offered to carry our cases up to our flat and down again when we left a week later, but thankfully their services weren't needed on this occasion - we managed to carry them ourselves.
We did lots of different activities during this stay as well as meeting up with our friends who live in East Wittering, the weather was lovely too which made it even more pleasurable but even if it had been wet and windy we could have kept warm and comfortable in the flat whilst enjoying the view.
We have booked our stay for next year and are already looking forward to it.

After having to cancel a short break to St Malo with a friend due to a health problem my friend developed, I was in need of a break as I care for my husband who has Alzheimer’s. My daughter offered to look after her father while my son said he’d accompany me. Having spent several childhood holidays in Wittering and later taking my children there I decided to make Wittering my base and through Baileys I chose 46 Seagate Court. The flat is beautifully situated and well appointed. The views are fantastic and it was so nice to just potter on to the beach. Just a few suggestions......the lighting in the dining/sitting area was not too good for reading once it was dark.......the Welcome brochure was buried beneath the folder of appliance brochures,in a drawer, in the kitchen, it should have been out on either the dining room table or a kitchen surface for immediate use eg immersion heater, wi fi password ........the ‘hoover’ was a bit smelly........as I was only there for 3 days I didn’t expect to take bath cleaner. We enjoyed walking along the beach to lunch at Billy’s at Bracklsham, excellent food. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food in East Wittering having sampled coffee to dinner in different venues while we were there.Cooking was not on my agenda. I would definitely use 46 Seagate Court again and recommend it to friends.

Have stayed in this flat for years. Condition gradually gone down hill. In need of some tlc particularly bathroom. Not cleaned properly, stains on the duvet and paint work scuffed. Sad to see really especially when the rental has been increased this year to being the most expensive flat in the complex. Gives me no pleasure in saying this as a great location too.

This flat is in one of the best locations for sea views (and sounds of the sea to lull you to sleep), being only yards from the beach. Clean, comfy, secure and well-presented for a beach-based holiday.

Warm, dry, safe, light, clean and close to beach, lift access and outstanding views. Car parking (usually) and handy shops only ten minutes walk.

We very much enjoyed the position of the property and it was a lovely, light space in the daytime, but let down by very poor lighting once it got dark. The furnishings didn't live up to the price of the property compared to similar ones....and while the obscure glass on the balcony was great for privacy it also successfully obscured any view, so hopes of relaxing on the balcony enjoying the view were inevitably disappointed. Tried to raise a number of maintenance issues with the lettings agent but apparently used the 'wrong' email address, even though it was one given on the web-site....not very helpful.

This is our 4 th year in this flat as the location suits us and sea view from balcony lovely. Sad it does not have clear glass in order to enjoy view when sitting down. It is well equipped with crockery and cooking utensils. Couple of negatives which we feel need to be addressed, some of bed linen marked and bulb in bathroom light still not working after 4 years??
Maybe after 4 years a change is needed! We can still recommend this flat.

Amazing view and location, right on the seafront in East Wittering. Flat is ok, but a quite basic spec for the price. Could do with a new bed, sofa and bathroom to justify the price level.

It is a spacious, clean, well presented apartment.
I stayed in a similar apartment in the adjacent block 8 years ago and now that the balconies are using frosted glass it was disappointing that we could not see the sea in front through the patio doors facing the settees, unless standing, but only from the one window at the side. The previous apartment I had been in had two other windows at the corner so the full sea view was not so restricted. However, this block has a lift which is why we booked this particular apartment.
As a senior visitor I feel I should comment on the switch for the shower which is set high up and far back in the airing cupboard and meant I had to stand on a dining chair to be able to reach. Perhaps a small step ladder could be available as I also had to use a dining chair to reach the higher cupboards in the kitchen. I only mention this as it might be a Health and Safety issue.
The apartment is well situated and we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

This is our third year in no 46 and we will be returning. The location is perfect for shops and right on the beach front for early morning swims! Hope by next year the 3rd bulb in bathroom will have been fixed, two years too long!

We have been staying at this flat for quite a few years now and hopefully will be doing so for quite a few years to come.We love the location, the views from the windows, the proximity to the beach and the village shops - the flat is comfy and a perfect place to stay with everything you need for a good holiday and we were lucky with the weather too !
The only downside is that this year for the first time ever we struggled to get a parking place near to our flat, the rules say one car per property but the people upstairs seemed to have 3 cars (friends visiting - who took up spaces) so it was quite stressful when we had to try and get near to the property to load up the car to come home at the end of our stay.
Having a lift in the building is a luxury that we wouldn't want to be without.
We would definitely recommend this property to others.

Best thing about this flat is the location. We loved listening to the sound of the waves from the flat and also the stunning sea views. The flat was comfortable and had everything we needed for a family of four.

Been staying here for years. Flat is looking a bit tired. Bathroom needs updating and new tablecloth needed?? Various blinds need repair. Front door still does not close properly.
It is the most expensive so we expect to see value for money.
Lovely location though.

The flat was clean as a whistle, painted in white so it felt sunny and light. There was a heat wave while we were there, but the sea breezes through the rooms from large windows and a sliding door to the balcony kept us cool.
Main selling point is the position overlooking the beach, with an unobstructed 15-mile view up and down the coast from Selsey Bill to Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight.

I have been staying in East Wittering for the last 60 years and so it has a very special place in my heart, since 2014 we have been staying in 46, Seagate Court and absolutely love it - it is lovely to be so close to the sea and perfect that there is a lift in the block which makes getting the suitcases to the property very easy, The property is very clean and comfortable and just perfect for us - we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. The views are wonderful whatever the weather, there is always something going on and we only have to go out of the door and across the lawn and we are on the beach with a choice of walks. There is also a very good choice of restaurants in the village.
We rent the property from Baileys Estate Agents who are always very helpful.

East Wittering is a great location and Seagate Court is ideally placed right on the beach. 46 Seagate Court is a second floor apartment and has a new kitchen with the whole property being in good condition when we checked in. Disappointed that the main door handle lock didn’t work but getting access to the compound, with good parking and into the block was easy. 46 looks right out over the sea and it’s main feature should be the balcony. However the glass panels are opaque so whilst you can sit out on the balcony you can’t see anything! View out of kitchen window great and so is the view from the living room and two bedrooms. We missed not having any folding chairs as these would have been ideal and we would have used them and sat in the grounds or on the beach to make up for lack of a view from the balcony. Kitchen well fitted and easy to use but fridge slightly small. Dishwasher, cooker and washing machine/dryer all easy to use with the small dishwasher being a bonus really. One issue was lack of wall sockets in all rooms. Bathroom was great with loads of hot water and a good airing cupboard available. Small drying rack was flimsy and was really only for inside. We were also really surprised at how quiet the flat was which again was a bonus. Loved the touch sensitive bed side lights, great feature. Flat was also very snug and warm and whilst not an issue, summer bedding would have been great but with a sea breeze flooding in through the windows not a major problem.
Overall a great location to sit, relax and then head off for walks along the beach, east or west. We will be back.
