Really nice little house in a convenient location. In good condition and very nicely presented - also easy to keep clean and tidy! Plenty of glasses, cutlery, china etc and cosy living space. Definitely a property to keep on file!
We have stayed at numerous properties in the Witterings over the past 25 years but I have to say that I have never stayed at a property which is so clearly loved by the owners! The property has the right balance and such a good feel, with the only 'personal' photos being those showing the redevelopment of the property. There are personal touches and well thought out spaces, that really make you feel that the house is a home from home. We enjoyed a lovely week at 6 Seasalt Locksash Close, West Wittering. Very comfortable and clean accomodation and so handy for the beach.
Had a brilliant stay at East Winds. The house was perfect - just the right size for a family of five. Enjoyed the enclosed garden and the location being close to the village and beach. Baileys are great and are so helpful from booking to making sure everything is perfect during our stay. See you next year.
We had a fabulous long weekend at The Pad. The property was spotlessly clean and well-resourced. We enjoyed being able to walk to East Wittering, both the beach and the village. Great location for West Wittering and Chichester and we went on some fabulous walks. We hope to return!
On the beach in the sunshine a bit of fossiling if the tides are right. Great location and views. Close to eating places and the Sandy Wittering beach a 5 min drive away
A lovely house with a small garden including a children’s climbing frame and garden furniture with awning. The house is beautifully equipped with many toys and activities for children. It is a short walk to the beach, and an even shorter walk to the nearest Co-op shop. Parking on the driveway is possible for two cars, and street parking available too. We have thoroughly enjoyed our week’s holiday at Kestrel for the past three years.
We really enjoyed our stay at Seahaven. The property is light and spacious, cleverly designed and very well equipped.
We had a fantastic weeks stay in a beautiful house . The open plan kitchen diner and lounge enabled our family to be together even when we were doing different things. The house was within very easy reach of the local shops and amenities that east wittering has to offer. I cannot fault this house !
Our favourite family and friends escape. Stunning views across to to IOW and the shipping lanes give loads of interest - the horizon always changing! Glorious views from the house ground floor and upstairs balcony. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves. Steep shingle beach but lots of flat sand when the tide is out. Sea wall private access “room” a lovely place to congregate. Newly decorated house in tasteful, neutral colours. Lots of separate areas for different guests to do different things - and oldies to get some peace!! Steps and access to top bunk bed is vertical and tricky to clim...more
A great stay in West Wittering, great location for a short walk to the beach. Really peaceful location, well equipped kitchen, great if you’re looking to cook, oh the nespresso coffee maker, so don’t forget your capsules.
A real gem right on the beach. Baileys make booking and check in and out simple. Lovely to deal with people rather than virtual check ins. Some lovely touches that add a bit of luxury but also a really functional place if you want to cook.
Lovely stay nice and spacious ,great location. Parking brilliant however not suitable for a wide/large car. The fire is not a modern log burner.Had a problem with the TV could not work out channels as it was set on BBC . could do with having a file with all the info in it .Garden lovely and secure perfect size for our dogs . The onsuit is lovely however found it strange it did not have a door. Over all lovely property
Lovely cottage, very close to West Wittering beach and East Head without having to take the car. Very quite with a sunny south facing garden.
We had a lovely week at 9 Seagate. The flat is ideally situated, as it close to the village and has sea views. Accommodation is comfortable and the decor is homely. There are a few places within walking distance to enjoy dining out including a dog-friendly pub.
Lovely bungalow which had all we needed and is close to both beach and shops. Quiet location. Enjoyed a relaxing break.

Overall we were very happy with the accommodation and the service from the agent. We would happily book again. The house was in very good condition, homely and very well equipped. Our only very small gripe was that some of the oven trays might have been cleaner but this is only a very small matter and have already recommended The Rife to some friends.
We had a great week at Aura Favoni. The location is perfect, being so close to the creek. The house has all the essentials and it is presented very clean. We will book again but we would ask that the owners provide some garden furniture. We had to borrow tables and chairs from family and friends in order to eat outside.
We had a great week at Tofts. Fantastic location, comfy beds and loved the open plan feel and the view to the sea. Only negative would be the Showers could do with updating. Would definitely stay again
We enjoyed a very happy and relaxing stay at Berry Barn Cottage. The location allows easy access to the beach, for morning runs and lovely dog walks. It was our second stay at the cottage and hopefully it won’t our last, as we always leave feeling rejuvenated! An exceptionally comfortable place just to chill out and be with family and friends.
We really enjoyed our short break in this cosy bungalow, it has everything you need and the beds were really comfortable. Pretty close to the beach if you don’t mind a little walk. Much better value than East Wittering which is way overpriced nowadays. We will definitely be back!
The position of the flat is excellent being on the sea front. We have enjoyed two holidays and plan to stay again.
We had a lovely stay at Saltwater. Cosy and great location. Downsides were; only providing 1 dishwasher tablet for 3 nights ( the dishwasher is very small so needs to go on everyday), having to strip the beds on day of departure and providing half used toilet rolls. Other than that excellent!
We were fortunate in the property being available over the bank holiday for a multi generational family holiday. It also had a downstairs bedroom and shower room to accommodate mobility needs. The steps into the property were a bit tricky as they were very steep but the overall size of the property met our needs and was clean and bright. Easy access to the beach and local amenities. The outdoor furniture could have been better but all the rooms and kitchen were well equipped.
Lovely light spacious house in good location. Suspect would be too hot in heatwave as no blinds or shade. WIFI can barely cope with one computer and dipped in and out.
We love everything about this serene cottage based in the most awesome location as evidenced by the repeat reviews. Any minor negative outlined in below reviews isn't an issue. Such a wonderful base to return to after a day out and the kitchen is fab - fully equipped and (amazingly) with fresh dry food basics. A real rarity for a holiday rental. We can't wait to return!
Our third visit to this first-floor apartment as it's such a convenient location in East Wittering, with easy parking, close access to the beach and beautiful south-facing views. East Wittering village is great with a good range of shops, coffee places, take-aways and eateries, and though the beach is shingle at high tide, there is a good expanse of sand for several hours either side of low tide. It's a lovely walk along the beach to West Wittering, where there is sand all day...driving along there (if you have small children and lots of beach clobber) is easy but expensive, however very conve...more

This clean, comfortable and well-appointed flat could not be closer to the beach. This was our second stay in this particular property. All equipment necessary for our stay was provided. Local shops and eateries are a short walk away. From this quiet flat you can enjoy wonderful sea views and spectacular sunsets. The staff at Bailey’s are always friendly and very efficient. Highly recommended.
This flat is light and airy with stunning views of the sea and sunsets. The beach is a few minutes walk away. It is simply furnished and comfortable.The kitchen though small, is well equipped and functional. It is on the third floor and the stairs are quite steep-a good way to keep fit but maybe not so good for the elderly and very young. Generally I would thoroughly recommend this property.
We have been renting from Bailey's for 8 years now & we get nothing but the best service. Bailey's are always helpful, friendly & will always go out of their way for you. Ella Close, we rented in February 2024. Apart from needing a lick of paint throughout (it look like someone started a whitewash undercoat, but never completed with the final coat) the property is truly lovely. It is spacious, huge bathroom upstairs & a bath, I could almost swim in ;-) In our opinion, the beds were comfy, it has a well equipped kitchen, comfy lounge & good size TV. The house is ideally located and offers lovely views to the rear and a short walk to the beach. The house is basic but that is what we loved about it! We didn’t have to worry about coming back from the beach covered in sand! There are a couple of minor improvements, that I would like to see. A washing line would be wonderful and better blinds in the bedrooms! It was light by 4:30 meaning we were up by 5! I would recommend, for a family holiday and a good base.
Summerlaize is clean and tidy and is situated in the village, close to the shops, but a little further to the beach.
The bungalow has been well used and not looked after by previous people with hidden breakage like the bathroom shelf. Baileys were excellent with the various issues the garden was a mess and the cleaning well it needed a deep clean and a bottle of disinfect which it got from us. It's in a lovely situation but beware dont park on the verge the home owners will come and sort you out, even though the main drain surround was broken which is why we used the verge
As ever, all we needed in a holiday home. Brilliant setting. Has all the basic essentials. Loved it.
The property was clean and well equipped. There are, however, areas of the property that are looking a little tied and could be improved upon. For example, the shower cubicle in the main bathroom requires attention (the door does not slide easily and the shower head does not appear to have been descaled for sometime) and a number of the window blinds are water stained and/or moth eaten. The location of the property was ideal for exploring the area, Portsmouth, Brighton, Arundel Castle being just a few places within easy reach.
