We stayed here for the 1st week of our married life! From when we arrived to when we reluctantly left, it was absolutely perfect! From the gorgeous private outdoor space, to the luxury inside the carriage, it was stunning and every small detail has been thought of. We will most definitely be returning when we can!
I have stayed in these beautiful lodges before the scenery is outstanding. This time though I never slept the bed was metal & made horrendous noises everytime you moved. This wouldn't put me off booking again I would still go back but maybe ask for a different bed in the master.
We enjoyed our stay very much as the weather was superb. We were very impressed with the Wee Chip. The only negative thing was that there was a very damp smell in the bathroom which permiated through to the wardrobe in the main bedroom making our clothes smell damp. We assume you are aware of this and things are in hand to rectify it
Back for our annual holiday with Jim and Julie, chalet nice and warm as usual on our arrival, good to see everyone again, we always look forward to returning I'm sure it's been 11yrs now and it never disappoints, nothing is too much trouble for the owners, only drawback this year is for whatever reason the owners of the pub decided to close during the school holidays, we didn't let it stop us enjoying our break, already looking forward to returning next year,
Schöner Caravan in der Natur, etwas außerhalb gelegen. Ideale Lage zwischen Fort William, Glencoe und Oban (alles deutlich unter einer Stunde mit dem Auto). Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet (Geschirr, Pfannen, Töpfe, Backformen, etc.) & es gibt ein Panorama-Fenster zum Wasser. Zu zweit hatten wir sehr viel Platz und auch die Dusche ist für einen Caravan geräumig. Das Inn/der Pub, der ca. 5 Minuten fußläufig entfernt ist, war leider wegen Renovierung geschlossen. Dennoch gab es einige Möglichkeiten in der Nähe (ca. 15 min mit dem Auto) zu essen...wir können insbesondere das Old Inn direkt...more
This caravan was OK clean and tidy.Great view of the loch .Peaceful. Everything you need was there the down side was there's no heating in other rooms we felt a bit cold. The tv wasn't great but the owner quickly fixed the problem. This caravan is a bit dated we felt we paid to much we thinking we should've went for next door. It didn't put us off of thinking of returning to the site
Perfect for our needs while visiting family. Comfortable lodge with great views. May need some refurbishment before the 2024 season.
The location was excellent. We had planned a walking holiday and were very fortunate in having warm, sunny weather all week. The lodge had clearly been renovated and updated and was very comfortable. The views were wonderful. However, the bed in the double room sagged badly and needs changing. It was difficult to sleep well.
Another great stay. Look forward to coming back in 2024. Comfort. Scenery and would recommend The Old Inn for a meal. Thank you.

We book out a number of lodges and caravans every September for our annual orchestra weekend. Julie and Jim are always so friendly, helpful and accommodating. The location is fantastic and we look forward to returning again next year!
Loved every bit of the place...the views - spectacular..the cabin- so warm and cozy. We stayed New years and was really happy with the christmas decor and welcome gifts.Would come back again and recommend to friends and family. Thank you for an amazing stay
After receiving the key to caravan I and parking my car in the designated space a short walk took me to my home for the next 4 nights. Spotlessly clean with a view that must be second to none l sat for ages just taking it all in. The caravan had the bed made up and plenty of wardrobe space and towels ready for use. The toilet/shower room had toiletries provided, wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils with all equipment spotlessly clean. Reccomend highly. And the view!.
Our family of 4 had a fantastic 5 night stay at Appin Holiday Homes. Waking up to beautiful views over Loch Creran and sitting shore side in the evening just watching the world go by. This location was a great place for exploring the area, Oban, Fort William, Gelncoe, Arisaig & Mallaig were all on our list to do and managed to tick them off. Fantastic value and the caravan had everything we needed during our stay. Would 100% recommend and would definitely return again. Thank you very much !
Stunning self catering lodges, very clean and cosy, high quality furnishings and everything you need for comfort during your stay. Great views over Loch Creran from the Lodges. We booked 8 Lodge's for my daughter's wedding (the stunning Wedding venue was 5 minutes away - St Mary's Wedding Space). It was the perfect setting for both sides of the bride & groom's family to all get together in the quiet peaceful lodges of Appin. We also enjoyed a lovely evening meal in the local Creagan Inn Bar & Restaurant. You can drive from the Lodges or it's a short 5 minute walk away. Would hig...more
Great location for exploring the local area and beyond. The lodge was well equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We will definitely be back to explore more and enjoy the stunning views.
The caravan is in a great location , and had it been a sunnier week, we would have made good use of the balcony overlooking the loch.The van was well provisioned. It was fantastic to see an otter fishing just a few metres from us.
When we booked this holiday it stated on the website that this particular lodge had been refurbished with a new kitchen and furnishings, unfortunately this was not the case indeed it is actually in need of a refurb. The bed in the main room isn’t a full size double and because of the position there are no bedside tables. The twin room had no sockets which we could find and again no bedside tables or lamps. The kitchen left a lot to be desired and I had to clean pots, cutlery and glasses before we could use them. We actually cut short our stay which was a pity as the location is great bu...more
