This is our fourth stay in Caro’s cottage and we can’t speak highly enough of the cottage, surroundings and hosts. It truly remains our home from home, and we instantly feel at home when we arrive and morn not being there when we leave! We can’t fault anything and can’t wait to enjoy the cottage again soon! A wonderful stay in an adorable country cottage. The location was perfect for us as a base to go off exploring the local area and wider Cornwall. Karl was a fabulous host with lots of suggestions of where we could check out for our adventures. The cottage is on a small site with a few other cottages, there is an enclosed dog park and a separate children’s play area. We stayed in Penny Cottage and was a group of 4 adults. It has a well equipped kitchen including a Toaster, kettle, French Press, Microwave, oven and Induction Hob. Towels are provided along with high end bed linen....more
Second time staying at Cartole cottages, both in different cottages and both have been great, the cottage’s are very well kept and cosy, the whole property is very well maintained and Karl and Miles are very accommodating, thank you for looking after us again ! Chris and Mel
Our second time at Kernewyck and it didn't disappoint. Warm and cosy - a little gem of a place to stay set in extensive gardens a blaze of colour at the end of April with things for children to play on and in. Be prepared for the tiny (very well appointed) kitchen which is great if you can't stand people fussing around you when you're cooking!
