Perfect as always. Caro cottage has a beautiful huge patio area and amazing views across the neighbouring farmland. Stayed in many different cottages at Cartole and you cannot fault the cleanliness and attention to detail by Karl and Myles
This was our second stay at Cartole Cottages, and also at Linney Cottage. We met other families who have stayed here previously - it's easy to see why: a relaxed and comfortable environment, an easy car drive from most local areas of interest. Our host, Karl, is always helpful yet unobtrusive. We hope to stay again next time we're in Cornwall!
We drove 500 miles to return to the Old Stable for the third time.On driving in i was struck by how pretty the place is.The plants and flowers around the place are beautiful.On entering the Old Stable the place looked spotless.As always the hosts were very accommodating.We find it a great base to tour Cornwall from.The washing and drying facilities on site are excellent. All the cottages seem very private and not overlooked.Will return.
A lovely place to stay. Gorgeous grounds for children to explore and each cottage has its own outside area. Perfect after a long day out and about in Cornwall. The cottage had everything you need for a great stay and Karl was on hand with ideas for places to visit and for help if needed. A real gem. We will definitely be back.
We spent a wonderful week at Cartole Cottages to explore Cornwall for the first time. The Shippen Cottage is very cosy and furnished with attention to detail. The property owners are very kind and always there to give local recommendations. We would certainly stay there again!
A gem of a cottage in a tranquil rural location set on a spacious footprint of gardens, Kernewyck proved an ideal base for the three of us (plus dog) to explore the area. Squeaky clean and warm, it's also great to come home to. The kitchen is tiny but well-equipped. The plus from a small kitchen is that it keeps you honest about being tidy! And it's an added bonus to be able to meet and talk directly with the owners, especially when they're as helpful and welcoming as Karl and Miles.
