Homelands is an independent Fife-based charity working to improve the quality of life of people affected by disability, long-term health conditions and life-limiting illnesses through the provision of luxury 4* fully accessible self-catering holiday accommodation.
The accommodations was well presented with ample parking and room for a trailer, inside the property was very clean and tidy, the space was ample for my wife’s wheelchair to manoeuvre around with the floor being wood, the wet room was very spacious as was the downstairs bedroom. The upstairs was also of a good size with a good bathroom.
Our family had a great time staying at Homelands. Everything that our son needed, was there for him and it was great choice of equipment to choose from, if needed. A great location with plenty of places nearby to explore. All the family really enjoyed it.
This is our second visit to Homelands and it was just as enjoyable as our first. It is wonderful to have the space for a wheelchair user to move around freely and to transfer without feeling hemmed in. Our son loves the profile bed and the H hoist and we really appreciate the wet room, allowing us to get all our additional washing dry. We stayed in Massney this time and loved looking out at the sea and over the golf course. Having the balcony upstairs is a wonderful idea and I really enjoyed sitting with a cup of coffee and relaxing. Thank you for thinking of everything, and we look forward to...more
We stayed in Cardy lodge with my mum who is wheelchair bound, the facilities are second to none, this place is above and beyond when it comes to wheelchair users. The information provided on the surrounding area was excellent and a lot of wheelchair accessible self catering accommodation could do to learn from what homelands offer. From ceiling hoists, to wet rooms and all the aids you need at no extra cost. Beautiful surroundings, clean and cosy lodges. Just perfect and I can't fault it at all.
