Homelands is an independent Fife-based charity working to improve the quality of life of people affected by disability, long-term health conditions and life-limiting illnesses through the provision of luxury 4* fully accessible self-catering holiday accommodation.
We had a lovely week in both houses, staying with the family. Having the grandkids with me all weekend was wonderful. They especially enjoyed seeing the pony.
We had a lovely stay in Largo. The lodge was refreshingly spacious, warm and very well equipped. Extra wide doors, large wet-room and tracking hoists. It had a well-proportioned utility room, it was ideal as we had 2 young children. Beds and bedrooms were more than adequate and comfortable.
There was a very large accessible wetroom and a separate toilet room downstairs. The toilet room would have benefited from a sink that an adult wheelchair user could get their knees under as they could not get close enough to the sink to wash as it was too low.

Great place to stay. Comfortable luxury in a beautiful location.Every effort has been made to provide accomodation to suit every need. From wide doorways, low kitchen counter, wet room to being able to book at no extra cost aids to personal care such as shower seats. Lots of useful info on any services one might require. All of this and more.Tastefull decor and huge rooms. Everything accessible but in no way clinical in appearance.
From booking to leaving had a great experience ,all we needed for an enjoyable stay . exceptional provision of equipment for our needs .perfect location, views over the sea . fantastic walks for the dog and a wonderful farm shop two minutes drive away .
Going to Homelands is always enjoyable for myself and my husband and disabled daughter we love the peace and quiet and the sea views. We have been going to Homelands for years and will be going back later this year
This is an excellent place for anyone who needs any equipment for there disability.
The villa is excellent and clean . The staff are also very welcoming and friendly
This is our second visit now and we love it here. The lodge has everything my husband needs within reason to stay comfortably and you can hire further equipment should you need it. Our lodge was well kitted out and in good condition. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment. There were games, books and dvds for a rainy day. Luckily we did not really have any of those! There were people staying either side of us but no noise travelled at all which pleasantly surprised us. The gardens are immaculate thanks to volunteers and a regular gardening company.
