We were very pleased with the accommodation it is excellent and an amazing place to base yourself the area is wonderful plenty to see and do.
We are a group of 5 who have been friends for over 50 years. One lady has MS and is wheelchair bound and we have found it increasingly difficult to find accommodation for our get together. Thank goodness for Homelands. After a recommendation this is now our second stay and we love it. Perfect for disabled people and so comfortable for us all. Can't wait to come back. Management are wonderful and go out of their way to help.
After searching for many years for the ideal place to visit that meets my needs we finally came across Homelands Trust last year (this was our 2nd visit) and we’re so glad we did, the facilities are the best we have came across after trying many others with disabled facilities, most disabilities have different needs to help in every day life but Homelands seem to have thought about almost anything that anyone would need,I had difficulty getting out of bed because of the height of the mattress (profile bed does not suit my needs) and as soon as it was mentioned the next day to Pam she had us so...more
A lovely spacious house with a sun trap patio to the rear with a view of the sea. We were extremely fortunate in April to have brilliant sunshine daily. Rooms were spacious, well laid out. We had the use of the Sara Stedy and my sister was delighted to see that when we arrived. This has been our first visit to adapted accommodation and I think the bar has been set very high. Excellent accommodation. Shower commode was short on length of seat and leg rest required attention tightening nuts
Very restful and enjoyable stay. The lodge is really comfortable and looking out to the sea is really relaxing
We found the Kiel to be very clean and tidy. The location is very quiet and you would not know that these buildings even existed from the road. The facilities are well laid out and very easy to access. With free Wi-Fi and a roku box keeping entertained is easy and with jigsaws etc in the room lots to do if you don’t want to go out. Local cafes and shops are within an easy drive along the coast. I would recommend these houses for a holiday

This is the first time we have used Homelands and what an excellent find. My husband has mobility issues and Cardy lodge had everything we needed to keep him safe but mobile. There is plenty of room downstairs which enabled him to use his rollator, plenty of handgrips in the bathrooms, and plenty of extra equipment available if needed. We went to their community cafe, where we had lovely soup and sandwiches. Everyone working in the cafe were volunteers and were so welcoming and friendly.
