I booked Lodges 2,3,and 4 for 10 people during the May school holiday week, 28th May until 4th June 2022. The Lodges as usual are tidy and well equipped, the doors and windows at the Lodges have been recently updated so everything looking fresh. My grandchildren love coming to River Edge Lodges as they feel safe and enjoy the freedom they get from the large green area at the front of the Lodges. They always get upset when they have to leave but look forward to returning. They love feeding the goats and trying to find the chickens that have free range around the site. Nice cabin in a beatiful location ideal for a relaxing short break. Would highly recommend this location before several others.
Excellent accommodation in a lovely setting. The lodge had everything necessary for our short stay and was spotlessly clean. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept and the paths are wheelchair friendly. Bridge of Earn has lots of amenities, all just a short walk from the lodge. We hope to return for a longer stay.
Met our needs very well for 2 people-great location, peaceful but easy access to Motorway etc. Small, very clean and comfortable - everything you could want for a few days break We would definitely stay again
Fantastic friendly family run business great place for a get-a-way break within a lovely village with all the amenities ,Well kept clean lodges. great food in the local restaurant and a friendly pub nearby, nice walks by the river and very central to the larger towns/cities.Well worth a visit I cant wait to go back.Highly recommended.
Our Holidays were just perfect. We stayed in Moncreiffe Lodge for 9 nights. The Lodge is just great and you have everything you need. It is directly located to the River Earn and next to the goats and chickens. So, it is beautiful to get out in the morning on the terrace and enjoy the air and views directly on Moncreiffe Hill. Our son was happy, as he was able to go out and be directly at the shed to feed the goats and chickens. For kids, you could not have a better place to stay for your holidays. The Lodges are a super place to stay as you are in a perfect spot to do daily trips. You h...more
Lovely lodge, cozy and warm, had everything we needed, nice and clean, quiet and peaceful, had family join us one night, Mary left extra bedding/towels and a travel cot for us to use, answered emails really fast, it's a great base to explore the area, the goats and chickens were a big hit with the kids, we would definitely book here again.
Thank you again for another perfect weekend away - just what we needed! The lodge has everything we need and is a home away from home. Really clean and comfortable. My toddler loves playing in the grounds and teasing the chickens and goats! It’s also a great location to explore Perthshire from and close enough to Edinburgh to make it a very convenient weekend getaway. We hope to be back again soon.
We have stayed at River Edge Lodges on a number of occasions and they are always immaculate, welcoming and just what we need. With the additional measures put in place during this pandemic we felt safe and had no worries. Cant wait to go back next year.
River Edge lodges were exactly what we were after, quiet and relaxing. The lodges had every home comfort you will need. We loved sitting on the front deck every morning and night with great view of the grounds and the quiet surroundings. We recommend the village inn for dinner and the cheesecake. The Main Street is a 2 minute walk as is the bus stop into Perth. Lastly a big thanks to Mary and John for a welcoming stay. We will be back. Cheers
