Highly recommend for clean comfortable chalets. Very clean and well specified. Really friendly and helpful owners who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and cared for Peaceful relaxing surroundings and great base for exploring Perth and surrounding area.
Flexible dates, helped with baby provision , everything worked, excellent garden area and amenity for kids. Perfect situation for our 10 day stay .
We have been coming to Scotland (its beautiful and nice people)every few years for vacationing ,many times. This time we had quite a bit of bad luck (hotel cancellations without notifying and flight cancellations and delays ,car rentals that were all set then gave us trouble ,hotels that were not unlocked for hours after check in time) But EVERYONE at the RiIVERS EDGE were simply WONDERFUL! The place is BEAUTIFUL! Rivers Edge is one of the few good memories we returned from vacation with.
My son goes here for respite for a few days and we are all very happy with the set up.The staff are very friendly and helpful
It was a lovely location with everything that self-catering accommodation needed. We felt relaxed and knew that if we needed anything, the owners were on site to provide assistance. It was really enjoyable to have the chickens and two goats in the grounds too! All in all we were very happy to have found River Edge Lodges with its easy access to so many places to visit nearby, and local amenities just a walk away. We would definitely recommend a stay to anyone who enjoys the freedom of a self-contained lodge for a holiday location.
A stunning lodge in a stunning location! We stayed at Moncreiffe Lodge 15 which overlooks the river Earn. The living area and kitchen was bright, comfortable and spacious. Both bedrooms upstairs are very good size ( 1 double and 1 twin). It was spotless throughout! Kitchen was very well equipped (dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer). The grounds and gardens are beautiful, with a park area , goat pen and chickens (which our children loved). The area next to the river is securely fenced off. Family stay for the weekend,l for a wedding nearby. We had 2 Chalets and they were helpful in making sure we were next to each other.Staff were fantastic in communication with us. Chalets were clean, in excellent condition, Kitchen had everything we needed. Park is not overdeveloped with a lovely open grass/park area which was spotless and well kept. A peaceful stay.
Excellent stay. This was my second time staying for an extended period of time, I preferred lodge 11 despite 14 being bigger and better appointed but both were fantastic places to spend time. WiFi not so steady but a minor issue for me personally. Thanks to John & Mary for all their help, I will have no hesitation in recommending River Edge Lodges to anyone.
Highly recommend this place. Lovely, relaxing spot. Mary & her husband are super friendly and very helpful. We will be back.
