We booked 3 cottages for a family get together and it exceeded our expectations. A wonderful place to relax and easy access to many different things to do. The cottage’s were lovely. Very well equipped, beds very comfy and Rachel was so kind and helpful. The spa was fantastic, and having sole usage was such a treat. I would definitely recommend Burlton Cottages.
We very much enjoyed our stay ay Burlton Cottages. Booking all 4 units gave us exclusive use of the pool and spa and the studio and this was fantastic. Barn Owl View and The Stable are particularly desirable being more modern and spacious. We found Rachel very welcoming and helpful and using the App for information worked well. There was plenty to do in the area and we visited Ellesmere, Shrewsbury, LLangollen, and the Sleap Airfield. Our highlight was a private session at the Battlefield Falconry. Barn Owl View is what is says, a cottage with a view of barn owls. The owner is lovely and can’t do enough to help. The spa facilities are beautiful and a real blessing to be able to use. The cottage is set up well for manual wheelchair users but is a little small if you use a power chair or need a hoist. Care has been taken to install some lovely little extras, like moving worktops and a pull down rail in the wardrobe. Owners very attentive and personable but not intrusive a fabulous family stay all peaceful and rested.
Amazing accommodation. So spacious and wonderful bedding and towels. Pool and Spa were so clean and great facilities. The local pub that we walked to had great food and we shared a lovely bottle of wine. We weren’t into Shrewsbury one day which was fabulous so many independent shops. Other days we walked at Colemere, Ellesmere and Alderford Lake. So much to do in this area that we will just have to return! Thank you Rachel and Gerry we can see you work tirelessly to provide such fabulous accommodation and facilities.
We had a lovely break at The Granary. The first floor accommodation was clean and high spec. Daily 2 hr private session in the pristine clean 12m swimming pool was amazing. Very quiet and peaceful. Rachel, our hostess, was very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend.
