We had an absolutely fantastic weekend at Burlton Cottage! The location is stunning, nestled in the heart of nature, yet close enough to local attractions. The cottage itself is cozy, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The highlight was the peaceful surroundings, perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with nature. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, ensuring we had everything we needed. We were a group of 7 and a dog meeting up for a family reunion. This really is a quiet spot to relax in, and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts Rachel and Gerry. Within a couple of days we could be forgiven for thinking that we owned the place ! After a tiring week-end journey up from Bournemouth, my wife, son, dog and I were delighted to find that the local Burlton Inn was 3 minutes walk away and did an excellent Sunday lunch. We had a nice stay at the Courtyard after booking a last minute holiday. The spa was wonderful, being able to book sessions made it very easy to use and it was impeccably clean. The beds in the cottage were super comfortable and it was very handy using the drying room to get our swimming stuff dry. The dog field was really handy, clean and secure. It was fun to use the table football. The WiFi was very temperamental but didn’t improve. We walked to the pub for a meal and people were very nice there and food was good. I have now stayed at Burlton cottages four times and each time it has been great. My husband and I have stayed in two of the properties and both have been very comfortable and very well equipped. The swimming pool is the icing on the cake as far as I am concerned and i loved the fact that I could book my slot which means exclusive use of the Spas facilities. The new additions to the property since we were last there has got me thinking of trying to organise a family stay using all the properties.
