Lower Elsford Farm is a brilliant little bolt hole with excellent facilities and ideal for small families with children.
We stayed in a lovely clean and comfortable cottage with everything we would need, set within the most beautiful grounds, with excellent amenities for the children. The location was gorgeous, peaceful, and ideal for exploring Dartmoor National Park, the coast, and everything else the area has to offer. Jan and Paul were such welcoming hosts, they went above and beyond with little extra touches and great local recommendations. We absolutely did not want to leave, and cannot wait to rebook. There really is something special about Lower Elsford Farm!
Lower Elsford farm has everything you could ask for for a wonderful getaway. Everything was tidy, well maintained and perfect for a little family. The games room, swimming pool and outdoor areas were perfect to entertain the family whilst being perfectly situated to explore South Devon. Would definitely recommend.
Paul and Jan were helpful from the time of making the booking, answering all of our questions. Upon arrival we were given home baked scones and freshly squeezed apple juice from the apple trees on the farm. They were delicious! After having a quick look around the cottage, we were soo impressed that every detail was covered like tea, coffee, sugar and milk which was a lovely touch after a long journey there.
