Our stay at the Ramsey Garden was perfect. The location and views from the flat was stunning. Check in and check out was easy. The bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen was spacious. We would come back again and again!
I had a lovely stay at this apartment. It was very spacious and tastefully decorated. Everything was clean, it almost seemed new ! The kitchen contains everything you need for cooking and overlooks a pretty little garden. I recommend this flat !
Beautifully furnished apartment on lower level floor of Ramsay Garden. Excellent location to Royal Mile and castle. Nearby walk (uphill/downhill) to Waverley train station, Princes St., etc. Hosts were very communicative and check in was easy. Would definitely stay here again!
Spacious apartment in a brilliant location, good amenities but could do with sprucing up in places. Issue with boiler/ heating.

After ten years of visiting the Edinburgh Fringe, this was by far the best accommodation I found. The location alone is enough reason to book it, it's a rare privilege to be able to stay so centrally in town during the festival, the closest I've stayed before was about 20min walking from the Royal Mile - this apartment brought it down to 2min. On top of that, the apartment was well cleaned and furnished, essentials were there, there could be a few extra pillows as the pillows were very thin, but nothing large to point out as a negative. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. For a basement flat, it was surprisingly roomy and light. The kitchen galley was well-designed. The location was perfect for us - quiet at night, with useful shops nearby, convenient bus stops and easy walks. We would definitely stay in this apartment again.
We were a little disappointed with the scaffolding and building work just outside the property when we arrived, we could have been informed. However once into the property the initial reaction is wow! and the rest of the property did not disappoint. The bedrooms were all well appointed and the beds extremely comfortable however they could do with matress protectors and the chair in the 1st bedroom is a hazard and should be repaired. The lounge and dining area were excellent enteraining areas, the space was fantastic and the furnishing perfect. Kitchen and bathrooms more than fit for purpose...more
This house was perfect for our family of four reunion. It was clean and comfortable. All the appliances worked. It is a couple of blocks from several bus routes, which was convenient for us. It was actually better than we were expecting. We would recommend this property to others.
A lovely period property full of character and charm set in an impressive row of properties located just a short walk from the centre of Edinburgh itself. At the time of writing it even has access to a private park located to the front of the property. It is located close to the excellent transport stops of train, tram and bus which are both frequent and punctual. The property is as impressive on the inside, with many of the original features giving you a taste of what was while relaxing in a comfy armchair. Lovely place to stay within easy walk of city centre, additional bonus of parking and garden. Would stay again and highly recommend.
We enjoyed our stay in this fairly central location in Leith only a few minutes walk to St James quarter shops and good restaurants. It’s very nicely decorated and well equipped for a family of 6. We were offered a nice fruit basket on arrival, the apartment was very clean. I would only suggest upgrading the mattresses as the springs felt lumpy and were uncomfortable. The nespresso machine was also leaking and unusable. Despite the minor inconveniences, the staff were very friendly and accommodating and I would highly recommend the Windsor street lane apartments.
