We have stayed here a number of times over the years and can't recommend too highly. Everything has been thought of in terms of whats needed for a comfortable stay - the accommodation is well kept and very clean. Islay is a beautiful island and one that restores the soul! The accommodation adds to the whole experience.
Saligo apartment in Port Charlotte is an exceptional place to stay. It is very central, accommodation is extremely clean and comfortable and it has all the things you might need from a ‘home from home’. This is the fourth year we have been back to this property and would definitely recommend it to anyone wishing to stay around this area.
Lovely house to stay in in a beautiful location. 6 of us with a baby and everything we needed was there . Alison was on hand if we needed her for anything . We had gorgeous weather while we where there only thing we could have done with more garden chairs other than that it was perfect. Would definitely recommend this house and will be booking it again if available
I enquired about Ardnave at short notice, not expecting it to be available but Margaret and Alison could not have been more accommodating and flexible in managing to squeeze us in! We were a group of 4 adults and 3 young children and the property was perfect for our needs. It’s cosy yet spacious and feels very homely. The garden space is a lovely bonus and we even managed a BBQ one night between the showers of rain. Port Charlotte is a quaint village and the Spar shop is an Aladdin’s cave! We absolutely loved being back on Islay and would highly recommend this accommodation.
