Have stayed with Port Charlotte holidays on a number of occasions and always enjoyed it. Houses are comfortable and well equipped and Port Charlotte is a great location. We'll be back.
We enjoyed our stay in lovely Port Charlotte. This house is in a great location and there are 3 delicious places to eat within walking distance. Saligo house comfortably accommodates 8 people with parking and a small garden to sit in. This is our second time staying here and I'm sure we will be back!
Have stayed in the cottages every year for 16 years and will be back. Very comfortable and well equipped - Islay is beautiful even in the rain.
One of the very best “cottages” we have ever stayed in. Beautifully kept, brilliantly designed, practical and well equipped. and a superb location Friendly and helpful owners / staff.
While the accommodation is ideally situated to explore the west side of the island and well equipped, we did not find that it was “Beautifully furnished” nor “Finished to a high standard”. The en-suite bedrooms were not “luxurious” with the pine furniture and standard fittings in the bathrooms, which are in need of some attention. The shower cubicles were very small and a the water pressure non existant. Although for the most part the accommodation was clean there were numerous spider-webs. The carpet in the living room area did not join up leaving an unsightly gap and was a trip hazard,...more
