Our family with two young children and one grandma absolutely loved our stay at Waders. The location was perfect, the house a dream and the swimming pool a huge hit with both kids and adults. It’s a short drive to West Wittering sandy beach, but our kids ended up enjoying the pool more than the beach. We enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi after a swim and used the bbq almost every night (we might try the pizza oven next time!). I must say that this was an amazing and very pleasant visit. Located across the way of the beach, we were able to quickly access the water, where there is miles of walking paths full of unbelievable views and friendly people. This home is an Instagram dream! Close walk to local resteraunts and other amenities. The house is spacious, but comfy. The rooms are made of rustic rail cars that have been wonderfully remodeled to match the beachfront theme. Pinot’s Perch is an absolutely fabulous property right on the coast (200 metres away) at Wittering. It’s a beautiful, newly finished property with a warm and welcoming feel. The open plan kitchen, dining and lounge space is perfect. Huge, well designed, carefully crafted and with every possible comfort, we loved the space. Seaview Lodge is a stylish, comfortable and spacious holiday home . It appears to have been recently renovated and was spotlessly clean and very well equipped . It is very near the pebble beach at Bracklesham Bay a 2 minute walk away . The sandy beach at West Wittering is a short drive away and for longer stays there is much to explore further afield.
We had a wonderful week at Stormchase. This really is a special house. The views of the ocean and over towards Portsmouth are amazing. The house is very comfortable and everything is to the highest standard. Our children loved being on the beach, the trampoline and the skate ramp. We will be back!
We loved our stay at Sandpipers and it was so comfortable that everyone had a good time. The beach is a short walk but the pool was so warm and inviting that we spent most of our time in the garden and enjoying all that the house has to offer.
Our family had eagerly looked forward to a stay by the beach in this well-appointed home. We were not disappointed. The location is wonderful - a quiet beach along a beautiful coastline - and we loved stepping out the back gate to swim or wander along the shore to pick up fish and chips or take a sauna. Our second visit. A fantastic location on Roman Landings, West Wittering. Comfortable, well equipped accommodation, ample size for 7 guests. Excellent service from Wellies and Windbreaks. What’s not to like ?
Best accommodation we have stayed in! Perfect for 4 adults.The owners, who were one of the nicest couples we have met went above and beyond to make our stay perfect and that is just what it was. The bungalow was immaculately clean, fully equipped, comfy beds and a lovely enclosed garden which our dog loved and just a 20 second walk to the beach. We switched off from our busy lives and was lucky to stay on for an extra couple of days! (16 in total) Wished we was still there! Sunny Days is a detached bungalow, very well equipped and with private parking. Inside it is light and airy with a large open-plan kitchen-diner and sitting room. There is a conservatory built on the rear of the property but, in the heat wave conditions we experienced during our stay, it was unusable. There is a small private garden with outdoor furniture which would have been pleasant to spend time in if the weather had been different. What a fantastic way to celebrate 70th and 40th birthdays! The house exceeded all our expectations, and the location is simply breathtaking. We made the most of the deck and roof terrace, enjoying some stunning sunsets. Waking up each morning to the sound of the waves and those views was truly special. We were also incredibly lucky to have such fantastic weather throughout the whole week. The house has everything you could wish for, with beautiful views from both the bedrooms and the ground floor. We had a lovely week at Sunny view. The flat is in an excellent position for access to the sea and all the many amenities of East Wittering. The only problem with the flat is the lack of substantial curtains ( net curtains are not good enough) or blinds to provide screening from the sun on the west facing windows. It was extremely hot in the afternoon sun and we had to sit in the Bedrooms , which do have curtains!
We all had an amazing time. Great property in the perfect location. We'll be returning as soon as we can.
We were a group of 10 with 4 children, and we were amazed with the house and how spacious it was. The children loved the trampoline, and we were lucky enough to enjoy sitting in the garden area and made use of the pizza oven and BBQ. The location is great, and a short 15minute walk to the beach. We made use of the 2 wagons in the shed which was a game changer!
We have just spent a week at Seaspray with ages ranging from 7 - 75yrs. The house and location were ideal. We loved the fact that the house was right on the beach, and my daughter, her partner and my grand daughter thoroughly enjoyed swimming in the sea on several days. It is a pebbly beach , and quite steep to walk down , but a bit more sandy when the tide is out. The lovely thing about Selsey is that there are very few tourists , so even though it was beautiful hot weather in the middle of the school holidays, it was never busy on the beach. We had a fabulous stay at Seamark with the family and it was fascinating to find its connection to Winston Churchill who used to stand on the roof terrace looking out to sea . We agreed on 2 things : It is vital to get a parasol for the garden table . We had babies and young children and it was too hot for them to eat outside . Although there is a snug and a large sitting room the L shaped sofa is insufficient for the number of people the property can sleep and 2 four seaters in the lounge would be so much better . Having said that we did have a fabulous time .
Lovely airy spacious and stylish house. The balcony was a great place to relax simply watching the sea, the ships and the odd beachcomber. Loved the quiet location with an easy walk to restaurants and shops.
Beautiful house in the middle of the village. Wonderful enclosed gardens with direct access to the shops and only a short walk to the beach. Angela and Amanda are always available for any questions and queries and their online app makes it all easy to find and get around. The house is homely, has a beautiful kitchen and living area. Highly recommend enjoying your stay from here.
Having rented 10 different properties in Wittering this is by far the best. Wonderful accommodation which worked well with all our different ages! The garden was wonderful and we spent most of our time there. Hot tub a great hit. The weather was perfect. Having our dogs with us was great and plenty of exterior space for them. Kitchen fully equipped. Access to the beach was literally a few steps away and the tides perfect for walking the dogs in the morning and evening. Thank you for having us.
Second stay at The Anchor. Just as enjoyable as the first. Situated close to the beach and an easy walk to the shops and cafes it made for a good stay with the grandchildren.
We spent a lovely week in Cygnet Cottage. Very comfy bed, well-equipped kitchen and lovely garden. Wonderful location for the beach. Great experience with Wellies and Windbreaks - excellent organisation, very useful app with holiday information and a couple of issues sorted out very quickly. Would stay again.
We booked Lubbers through Wellies and Windbreaks for our third trip to this property. They were really accommodating and so helpful when I needed to change our booking date. I highly recommend booking directly with them. The property itself is lovely. The location is close to the sea and the town and the house is big and welcoming. The kitchen is spacious and the lounge is comfy for when we were tired of the sun. Looking forward to next year already.
We had a wonderful stay at The Thatched Cottage. It is a beautiful cottage with a real homely feel. Everything was well designed and comfortable to accommodate all our family. The garden is very pretty and perfect to relax, play games and enjoy meals. The gate opens straight onto the beach and we also enjoyed swimming and walking the dog along to East Head. We all have very happy memories of our stay and we hope to book again for next year
We did have a lovely stay at Dots this year which was also helped by the wonderful weather. We all think it's a lovely house, if a little quirky in its layout. The location could hardly be better, close to both the town and shops and on the seafront. We were very impressed that the outside shower was provided with warm/hot water( as well as cold). What a wonderful idea. It made us more likely to rinse off before entering the house and less likely to tread sand and seawater in so a plus both for us and for the house. We are so lucky to be able to return to No 24 year after year, we actually rather consider it “ours” now! We walk in and the holiday starts straight away. The house is immaculately cleaned, beds are superb with lovely linen, the garden has all its own comfy cushions and the only thing we need when we arrive is our Ocado order to arrive which it does within the hour of arriving. And then it is just BLISS. A few little issues this year which were seen to with the speed of lightening and put right as quickly as was humanly possible. We had a lovely short stay in Points. It is an exceptional property - beautifully maintained with luxury beds, linen and appliances and a lovely safe back garden. The house is stunning and spacious. We found no faults and had a super time there with four under tens and six adults,
We had a wonderful holiday at Beira Mar, the location was excellent, out of the back gate and straight onto the beach. A very quiet area but not far from the shops and restuarants of East Wittering. My only complaint would be that the pillows were a bit flat and maybe extra could be provided and also the outside (back garden) security light didn't seem to work very well, other than this just perfect.

We stayed at Beachcomber for a week in August with grand parents, 3 adult children and 3 grandchildren. The layout of the house was perfect for this type of holiday as each part of the family had their own bedroom/bathroom area. The kitchen/ lounge area was very large and never felt overcrowded with 9 people and the odd day visitor. We have stayed in the area every year for about 10 years and would definitely use this house again. A 3 minute walk to the beach and perfect weather was an added bonus.
We had a lovely week stay in this cosy Cottage. Given the high temperatures the UK was experiencing the Cottage itself was super cool inside and fans had been provided in both bedrooms. Despite its central location, it was pretty quiet in the evenings and we enjoyed excellent food in local restaurants and friendly people mostly everywhere. We parked at the place recommended by the booking company and it was super handy and the lady renting the space was lovely too. Highly recommended
5* all round - a wonderful stay again at Sheridan such character and history and one of the few original railway carriage properties left. We shall be booking again next year. Wellies & Windbreaks quick to reply to any questions I had.
This was our second stay at Cirrus. It’s a lovely property just around the corner from the beach - and a ten minute walk from the shops. We’d happily recommend it to others.
We had a wonderful stay at Wickham. It is a charming beachfront property will plenty of old school seaside appeal, and rustic qualities. It allowed us to re-connect as a family, with plenty of wholesome walks on the beach, that the property leads out onto. It has clearly housed a lot of happy memories over the years, including ours. It is very basic, so don't expect luxury, but it you're after a stay which is refreshingly simplistic, and connected to the seaside, then Wickham is a great option. East Wittering is a safe and clean place to stay with lots to see and do close by. The property was comfortable, reasonably well-equipped and well located with good sea views. The downstairs bedroom is a little dark with a small window, but the other two rooms are upstairs and airy.
We had a great time staying at Fleetwood. The house is beautiful with lots of space and everything that we needed!
We spent the whole of July at Beachwood with our family. It is a beautiful, spacious house in a fantastic location, right next to the beach and close to the village. However, for a property of this standard, there are a surprising number of practical shortcomings. The outdoor dining and seating is inadequate, particularly the lack of proper shade, making it difficult to enjoy the garden on sunny days. Lovely house convenient for beach and village. Although in central position was quiet. One smaller vehicle able to park on front. There was a heated airer but it would have been nice to have a washing line/rotary. Showers weren’t great, downstairs either hot or cold, no balance, upstairs low pressure. Back garden, grass had been cut but borders not as in pictures and one side, hedge was mass of brambles, quite dangerous for children. Having said this, I would go back and comments made are constructive.
We really enjoyed our stay at Seacote. It's a lovely, well presented holiday cottage. Its position, right next to the sea, was perfect for us as a family of 7 including a newborn and dog! The property was extremely clean and comfortable with plenty of room for all of us. We were very pleased with how the kitchen was equipped, the good quality bedding and towels (which smelt very nice) and the little touches of shower gel, coffee, tea etc. The hot tub was definitely a hit with all the family enjoying a glass of fizz in the bubbles (not the newborn or dog obviously!!) We were disappointed on arrival to find the front door lock stuck and the oven filthy. The housework was average. W&W to their credit fixed the oven very quickly. Towards the end of our stay the swimming pool cover would not work which wasn't great with our 3 year old. Again W&W managed a temporary fix but the cover needs to be replaced. There was still a lot of noise from the building works next door and smell from a huge pile of manure in their garden. Otherwise a pleasant enough stay but the Little House remains a nice family home for occasional rental and we think 3 times is enough. ...more
