We had an amazing holiday stay at The Cactus House, it is a beautiful villa with so much space and so many wonderful facilities. The level of comfort and attention to detail for every aspect of a holiday was appreciated so much and just made the stay so enjoyable and relaxing. The housekeeper was so helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble he made sure that everything ran smoothly in the house. The pool area was the best I have ever visited with such a large pool and multiple sunny or shaded area to relax and enjoy the holiday. We will definitely visit again.
Another fantastic time in Kalkan. Everything ran smoothly and we love this apartment. Clean, well looked after, good air con, easy reach of town and water sports, pool is fantastic for both us and our three kids. Zal in resort provided good up to date information on our first morning even though we have been before. Transfers organised by Olive Tree and the Gulet cruises were smooth and exceptional as I have come to expect from them.
Had a fabulous week in Muscadet Villa(dry white) Beautiful outside area with plenty space and variety of seating areas. Lovely pool and Jacuzzi(cold) which were very welcome in the intense heat. The option to have deliveries was excellent and taxis readily available and cheap to go into town.
The villa was just prefect for 2 families and there was more than enough room. We had a 4 year old, and a 8 and 11 year old and 4 adults. I can't speak highly enough of Villa Mirage. We are thinking of booking this villa again for about the same time next year.

We have just enjoyed a wonderful family holiday - 10 of us - at the beautiful High House, Kalamar Bay, Kalkan. The property is stunning and finished to a high quality with fabulous views over the bay. A ten minute taxi ride from the town makes it accessible to all the amenities with some lovely little cafe/bars within walking distance. Superb!
Fantastically positioned and equipped villa. Easy to get to town and some great beach clubs. Villa was spotless when we arrived and was cleaned very regularly and thoroughly throughout our stay. We were a party of 9, but regularly had friends come over during the day as the pool was large and social areas very spacious. Highly recommend.
Fantastic central villa , you are right in the middle of the action . The owner Omer is a really friendly and welcoming. Try the sauna you will fell a million dollars. Bars and restaurants 50 m away one showing football which was a bonus , loved the pool very private . Try this villa , you won’t be disappointed
Villa Caretta is an exceptionally comfortable, spacious, well furnished and kitted-out villa, with a lovely terraced garden (offering shade) and swimming pool. Great location just c.10 mins walk from the Old Town and even closer to the market and supermakets. I cannot recommend this villa highly enough.
The apartment is fabulously furnished and equipped with a huge amount of thought and attention to detail from the owners. There’s nothing they didn’t think of! The apartment is spacious and the pool huge. It was a really peaceful spot but a very short walk into the old town. I’d go back in a heartbeat and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay close to the beautiful old town of Kalkan.
We had a really fantastic time in Yesil Kelebek. It was such a lovely property - we loved the location being on the quieter side in Kisla and yet with the beach club 5 mins walk away. The property and grounds were beautifully kept and the pool a perfect escape from the heat! We loved exploring the area and would recommend a car. Great restaurants in Kalkan and along the coast towards Kas. But best of all was coming home to Yesil Kelebek and enjoying the beautiful views whilst sipping on a glass of wine! It is perfect for a family of four and we would definitely come back! Thank you!
Villa Sura is in a brilliant location with amazing views. It is a ten minute walk into the centre or a short taxi ride. You will find everything you need including a roof top bar, jacuzzi, spacious pool, barbeque area and a sauna. The rooms are all beautiful with attention to detail where the furnishings match each other. You will have a wonderful stay.

Kalamaki flat 6 apartment has to be he most well equipped, stylish and comfortable apartment that we have ever stayed in. Ferhan ( our host ) has thought of everything that is needed for a pleasant stay. Spacious and comfortable rooms with added balcony over looking the quaint cobbled street ( excellent for a pre dinner drink ), both living area and bedroom with television and excellent air conditioning. We have just returned from our stay at Villa Blossom. We had a lovely time in this beautiful place, lovely house, gorgeous pool with the most comfortable sun beds. Good WiFi and everything you need is at hand. Literally a 3 minute walk to the local supermarket and 5 minutes to Migros Supermarket. Walk into town is about 15 minutes. Great choice!

We loved Manor Villa. The quality of the building and furnishings was great, the pool was lovely and the gym was also a great space, largely used for a family table tennis tournament :). Its close to town so only a short walk in, but very little noise carries to the Villa, so it still feels private and secluded. We have been to Kalkan several times and this is by far the best Villa we have stayed in - I highly recommend it.
This was our first Visit to Kalkan, and it was beyond all of our expectations! The villa was just beautiful and so even nicer than the pictures we saw, we are a family of 5 and it was just perfect for us in every way, the villa was so spacious with a large outdoor space and fantastic pool. An absolutely fantastic villa with all mod cons but what makes this villa exceptional is the view. Delivery of fresh water daily as well as bread (if you want it) and enquiries dealt with by the owner, very quickly and efficiently. 10 minute walk to town but not good terrain for anyone with a buggy or mobilisation issues - cab is only £2 into town and they come quickly. Would recommend this villa.
Cannot recommend this villa enough - it is so beautiful! Furnished to an extremely high standard and has everything you could want. The indoor kitchen had all the pots and utensils that we needed, water is filtered so you can drink straight from the taps and the outdoor kitchen and BBQ were also very well equipped. There is an indoor sauna in the villa which we used and was great, there is also a Turkish Hammam which unfortunately we didn’t get around to using. We had a fantastic holiday staying at topaz apartment. The location is excellent with a five minute walk into the town. The views from the balconies are amazing right across the harbour watching the boats and watersports etc. The service from olive tree travel was 1st class leading upto our holiday and during our stay with in resort management and cleaning etc. The apartment was immaculately cleaned throughout our stay as was the pool etc. We will definitely use them again.
This villa has a truly magical position and view, its epic and we were amazed at the location. Its on a very very very steep road however which was a bit hair raising in the hire car! The villa is great, really well equipped and feels like a home, great quality of kit in the kitchen - I love to cook and also great quality rooms. Omer who looks after the house and comes daily to check the pool was also great and really helped make our second week perfect. We had a fantastic family holiday at Villa Greenwich. The Villa was beautiful. We enjoyed the views of Kalkan and everything the Villa had to offer. It looks exactly like the photographs and was a great space for us to enjoy the delights of Kalkan. Kalkan is exceptionally beautiful and friendly and the Mahmut Salvarli Suites are absolutely fantastic. Mustafa and his team were the best hosts and really could not do enough for us. They were so kind and helpful and the apartments, have everything you would need.
We enjoyed a beautiful 2 weeks at wonderful Villa Ocean Pearl. We travelled all the way from Canada. It was so worth the long travel time. Everything was immaculate! I highly recommend this fabulously decorated villa and it’s close proximity to the old town of Kalkan. Who needs a Beach Club when you have the fantastic outdoor living area of Villa Ocean Pearl. Last minute holiday and could not have picked a better villa if we had tried. Having been to Kakan many times and lucky enough to have stayed in some amazing villas, Villa Zen was a great find. The owners who have refurbished the property have done an amazing job with the new layout and new pool location. The property has been fitted out to a very high standard with top of the range appliances, beds, and both internal and external furniture. Location is just perfect and probably one of the best views. The Villa was fantastic for our group of 7 people. Fantastic size, lots of ooohs and aaaahs on arrival as it is quite impressive villa. Great pool and the views were amazing. Was very well equipped, and the addition of the games room and cinema are great. Beds super comfy. Its a short downhill walk to the town, 10 mins , we did use the local taxis and they are great value and plentiful. We loved it and would for sure stay again and recommend to others.
Fantastic apartment in a fantastic location. Had everything you need for a home away from home. Olive Tree Travel are a well oiled machine, from booking to arranging private transfers or just ordering water, everything was seamless. PROs: The house is beautiful, very clean and every possible need is catered for, with the exception of a tin opener - or at least we could not find one among the many other kitchen implements! The furnishings are of high quality, with beautiful lights everywhere and lots of electric sockets. The shower rooms are modern and very effective and all have bath robes. We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this excellent villa. Furniture and fittings are very comfortable and of a great standard. The kitchen is superbly equipped. The two terraces are well appointed. The sun loungers and umbrellas are perfect. The pool is a great size and well maintained. The location is great, close to Migros and local bars but away from the main road. Lovely Villa in excellent location Clean and tidy with stunning beautiful views and fantastic outside space. Swimming pool was clean and well looked after, you couldn’t fault the outside of this villa. Slightly tired interior in places and downstairs games/gym room was unusable as hot with no air-con and it had a bad damp smell, which was disappointing. All in all a great villa and we would return.
Our stay at Villa Berlin was perfect. The Villa is exactly as advertised, it was spacious for 10 people, with excellent air con and loads of shade around the pool (needed for the Aug temp). It’s a 20min walk downhill to town and we always taxied back. The views from the Villa are spectacular, the pool was the perfect size and was maintained every day. Really loved the Isle Apartment and the location was just right. Last year we stayed a little bit further out of town and the walk was further. Air conditioning was very effective and the cleanliness of the property was excellent. Decor was just right and the bathrooms were stylish and modern. We didn't eat in very much but one or two bowls would have been handy to store food in. We were a bit short of pegs for the dryer but we could easily have asked but forgot. This is a great villa. Had all we required. Nice pool, barbecue area and top floor jacuzzi with great views. Plenty of room for 8 guests. Even had an additional outdoor kitchen area on the top floor. Great to have table tennis for a few games with my lads. Kalkan is a great resort. Would definitely stay here again.

The owner of the villa was incredibly accommodating, especially given the uncertainty around travel at the moment. Communication from booking onwards has been quick, easy and incredibly courteous. Instructions for accessing the villa were clear and straightforward and we experienced no problems at all. The welcome pack (including fresh bread, milk, jam etc.) was a lovely touch and the information pack provided invaluable hints and tips that made our stay effortless, such as supermarket delivery and numbers of local taxis. This is the second time we have stayed at Villa Amelia, originally chosen for its location within walking distance to the town centre. as well as its great facilities. The villa is lovely, especially the pool area - ideal for spending the day relaxing before heading into the town for dinner. Alternatively, a short walk takes you to the harbour for boat trips or a day at a beach club. We have stayed at several different villas in Kalkan and this is definitely our favourite. Stayed here for 12 nights in September. Villa looks exactly like the pictures. Location is excellent about a 10min walk from the top of kalkan town. Also there are 2 supermarkets within a couple of minutes walk from the villa. Pool was lovely and got the sun from about half 9 in the morning until half 4. Used the hot tub / roof top for evening sun. Can also get boats to beach clubs from the harbour in Kalkan. Lots of places to eat and drink. We have used Olive Tree Travel before - for good reason - their properties are well maintained, clean, well managed, great locations. The staff are amazing and I can't fault them in any way. This extends to the in-resort maintenance teams and local rep. The apartment is beautiful. smallish pool but big enough for 2 children to play in. Terrace lovely and direct from the kitchen. I particularly like the fact that the orientation of the apartment gives shade after around 1pm, on the kitchen, but still plenty on the terrace, there's always some shade to be found and seating everywhere. We stayed in villa Alisia for two weeks in August this year. We were greeted on arrival, the villa was really lovely! and was reassuring to be given the managers number if we were to have any problems during our stay. We had six adults and the villa was plenty big enough to accommodate us all. The outside space could have been a little bigger but was okay, the pool was really lovely but very deep, so no good for non swimmers or children. The Solvi at Asfiya was a stylish and beautiful apartment with every provision made for a perfect stay. It provided plenty of space for the 4 of us, including a great pool terrace. The location was peaceful and private. We will definitely be back!
We were 2 couples staying at the Villa. We all had a wonderful time. The villa was very spacious, clean and suited all our needs. It was not our first choice of area to stay in Kalkan but was absolutely fine with only a 10 minute walk to the town. Any issues we had were sorted immediately with the Samira Resort. We had housekeeping 3 times in the 10 days which was adequate. I would definitely recommend staying there. We booked through Olive Tree Travel who were fantastic. Very prompt and efficient with any questions we had and always available if needed.
We had a lovely two weeks in this very lovely, well-equipped and super clean apartment, which was very good value for money. The kitchen had more than enough crockery, cutlery etc and also had all the equipment we needed, including juice press, liquidiser etc. Within walking distance of the old town, the area was quiet and completely safe. We were very happy and recommend highly.
This is the second time we have stayed at villa Yakut in Kalkan and this time was even more special. The location of this villa is outstanding; you can walk into town for dinner or down to the harbour to pick up a boat to a beach club. There are also plenty of shops nearby to pick up supplies. A great apartment within an easy flat walk in to town. The apartment is well equipped and the upstairs terrace lovely and spacious. The downstairs balcony is in the shade so a good contrast to upstairs. Pool area is fairly spacious. We stayed at the end of May and had the pool to ourselves much of the time. Whislt a 2 bed apartment, I would recommend for 1 couple or a family rather than 2 couples. The only downside is that there are a lot of stairs to access the front door which may be an issue for some and the stairs to the bedroom were steep, not to be dine in a hurry. Wonderful Villa with amazing views across Kalkan harbour and Kalamar bay. Lovely infinity pool and jacuzzi on top floor balcony. Amenities are very good. If there was one slight downside it is the very steep roads to get down to the main roads. These are challenging going down as well as up but taxis are only 60 lira so well worth the money. I would happily stay here again.

This villa is everything you could hope for and more. Beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything you will need. We had a brilliant stay - the pool area and its view are outstanding. All the bedrooms are lovely.. we had to draw lots to decide who was getting the amazing master suite on the top floor!
We loved our stay at Cira Villa. Everything was perfect - incredibly clean and really well equipped with plenty of seating outside and inside. The pool was so clean and well used in the august heat! - we really couldn’t have asked for anything more. The view of Kalkan from the villa was amazing and lovely to wake up to every morning. Our family of six had a happy week in Villa Mavi. The kitchen was well equipped, everything was clean, and the bedlinen was high quality and the beds were comfy. There isn't a huge amount of outside space but enough for all of us to have a sun lounger. Like most of Kalkan the villa is steep - there are a lot of steps from ground to top floor. So bear in mind if you've young children or elderly with you. We felt the villa was value for money; friends staying nearby had larger villas with better views but paid £900-£1,000 more per week. We had a lovely stay in Kulenin Evi. The location is a stones throw from the old town and 5 mins to the beach. Our children loved the pool and even in October it was still warm due to the sun trap.
Having just returned from a 9-night stay in Kalkan we can safely say, this won't be our last visit. Villa Phi is a fantastic Villa overall with a modern decor and also boasting an indoor and outdoor pool. My only gripe would be that the outside pool isn't heated and wasn't made clear at the time of booking so as a result, it didn't get used as much as i'd have liked as the water was rather chilly this time of year. Great apartment in a very convenient location to Kalkan's old town (the main area of shops and restaurants). Probably one of the small number of apartments/villa's where you don't need a taxi back up the hills! Apartment itself was very nice, very clean and modern. Pool was a good size and received sun from the early morning until about 5pm (August - may change with season). We arrived to a fresh hamper of biscuits, bread, jam, milk, orange juice which was a nice touch. All in all, great place to stay
This villa is in a perfect location on the Kalamar Road - an excellent range of restaurants, supermarkets and the Elixir Hotel with the best spa in Kalkan (Nur & Haken) . The ground floor has been recently refurbished - a well-equipped kitchen and good furnishings in the open plan lounge/dining area. The bedrooms are a good size - with plenty of storage - unfortunately there was a build up of mould in some of the showers which was unattractive. We stayed for just over a week , the Villa is high up overlooking the bay in kishla and the views are spectacular. To swim in the infinity pool whilst seeing that view is a special experience . Villa is well equipped , nice bedrooms with en suites , good kitchen facilities and a lovely outside area to dine or have a drink , also nice and quiet .
We were delighted to spend 11 nights at Villa Amethyst. It really is every bit as good as the photos show on the Olive Tree Travel website. The villa was exceptionally clean and recently re decorated. The private pool is excellent with plenty of room for the 8 sun beds and a lovely view across the bay. The bedrooms and and en-suite bathrooms are all a very good size and the outside seating area on the top floor was an added bonus and just perfect for Sundowner drinks before heading into town. It is hard to know where to start when writing this review. We have stayed in many luxury villas throughout the world and Villa Dolluca ranks up there as one of the best. The first thing we noticed when we arrived was how sparkling clean everything was. This is very important for us and we thrilled to see that all the rooms were immaculate including the kitchen (and the oven), bathrooms and bedding. As a party of nine I had some concerns about any villa in terms of space to comfortably accommodate 7 adults and two lively children. I needn't have been concerned at all. The space in and around the villa is exceptional with multiple places outside to entertain. The pool is also spacious and with a smaller pool for the youngest it was excellent. Facilities were very good, with everything you could possibly need, including Netflix for the kids when they had tired themselves out in the pool. Location was top notch. We recently stayed at this apartment after the long wait to return to Kalkan. We used Olivetreetravel to book the villa and they have been excellent since we first used them in 2020. I’ve stayed in various villa’s and apartments in Kalkan over the years and in this Villa twice. It’s one of the best we’ve stayed in for various reasons. Location is superb, away from the old town, where it’s quieter, but only a 15 minute stroll down into town and there are various bars and restaraunts around the area if you don’t want to go into town. The Villa itself has everything you need from appliances to utensils, plenty of outside space, a lovely pool and a marvellous roof terrace with fantastic views. We had an excellent stay at Amore. Some small changes made since our last stay but nothing significant so still comfortable and decently equipped. Other than sharpening the knives and adding in a couple of other kitchen tools - we had a child with us so had to eat in most evenings - it was great. The location is brilliant and the pools. In October lots of owners of the apartments staying and that was quite cliquey but if you don’t care about that (we didn’t) then you will have a brilliant stay. This villa is centrally located up a steep but not very long hill from Old Street, Kalkan. Two minutes to the nearest restaurant/bar, two minutes to a supermarket.The villa itself was well equipped, with a new kitchen extension. Although it offers five bedrooms, the fifth bedroom in the eaves would be more suited to teenagers I think. It’s extremely hot! There’s a jacuzzi/baby pool which we found extremely useful with small children. The views over Kalkan are amazing both during day and night. We loved it here - especially as it’s so central.
The view, comfort and layout of the outside space was fantastic, the villa was lovely and modern, we loved our stay, Hussane at the Castle bar opposite was brilliant and his food is amazing, lovely to have right on you'r doorstep if you don't fancy going into Kalkan at night.
We really enjoyed our week at the villa, despite the steep climb back from town. Do not bring heels! Trainers were invaluable!! Taxis are cheap to and from town (c£3). Gorgeous views from the infinity pool - really made our stay. It was a stunning location. The villa was spotlessly clean both inside and out.
You couldn’t ask for a better location that this apartment! A 5-minute walk to the shops, beach club and town, the convenience of Iskele is what makes this apartment so appealing. The apartment is very clean, with comfortable beds and a fully stocked kitchen. Its roof terrace has unrivalled views over the bay, with a plunge pool included to cool down from the baking Turkish sun. You will not be disappointed if you decided to stay at Iskele whilst in Kalkan.
Lovely spacious villa suitable for a large family. Fully equipped kitchen if you wanted to cook meals at home. Plently of clean towels for the pool.
We arrived late near midnight hungry yet tired The lady ( whose apartment it was ) greeted us and gave us some of her homemade soup and bread etc which was great considering you never met us . First impressions were great . The apartment was modern with a beautiful view of the sea . It’s location was perfect , we were only three minutes from all restaurants and port . Enjoyed the beach clubs and restaurants . Very commercial resort though and the Turkish restaurant owners were quite pushy to get us into their restaurants which was annoying to be honest . Very nice accommodation with superb views over Kalkan bay. Good size pool and very well maintained. Well equipped apartment with plenty of space for 2, but might be a bit tight for 4 adults. Whilst the walk into town is very quick, and relatively easy, the walk back is tough- not suitable for anyone with mobility issues ( but taxis to and from town ante cheap and plentiful). Overall very enjoyable 2 weeks!
We had a lovely stay at Seascape. The pool area is fab with great views of the bay and is in full on sun all afternoon. The rooms were comfortable again all with great views. Nice quick walk to the kulube and Kalamar beach clubs which is why we chose it and the new carrefour supermarket is super handy for those prepared to do a short but sharp hill walk in the mornings! Minor improvements/suggestions: We didn’t always manage to cool the bedrooms as the air con seemed a bit intermittent and there were only three wine glasses between four people!
I am reluctant to tell everyone about how great this apartment is, as we definitely want to stay again in the future and don't want everyone to know about this gem! 3 great size rooms, with a fantastic kitchen and living space, but the best part has to be the pool. The infinity-edge going out to sea makes pictures perfect, especially as the sun goes down. The staff were great making sure we had everything we needed, but also being left to enjoy our holiday. Booking and communication were great, although we didn't use a lot of their services as have been to Kalkan many times.
The villa is beautifully positioned.It has fantastic 180 degree views of the ocean and bay.It's proximity to the centre(restaurants,bars,beach and supermarkets)makes it very convenient.We walked(trekked)into town using the beach path(severe ups and downs)which took 20 minutes and took a taxi back(60TL)which took 4 minutes. We mixed our days with visits to the Beach Clubs(Zest,Kalkan Beach Park and Denizm),staying around the pool or trips to Patara Beach and Demre(well worth the 75km drive)
Excellent break in villa Lillian. The villa had gorgeous views, was extremely well equipped, well maintained and had excellent amenities. A 10 min taxi from town, made everything accessible.
We had a wonderful week at Queen Villa. We found the process of booking (and rebooking thanks to Covid!) with Olive Tree very smooth and responsive. The Villa was lovely for 4 of us, very spacious and a super (but deep) pool. It had lovely vistas but there was a large uphill walk to get to town so it wasn’t for the faint hearted in that heat! Great stay in Iskele, comfortable and clean apartment in a brilliant location. Really enjoyed the outside space and swimming pool. You very kindly accomodated a late check out which was greatly appreciated, THANKYOU. Only thing I would say to improve would be a welcome pack with some basic instructions like Wi-Fi code. We had to ask the maintenance person for the code.
View was stunning, but there were quite a few issues when we arrived. Pool lights broken, ant infestation, broken door handles, pool tiles loose, mould in showers and bad smells as a result. But, well equipped!
We enjoyed a fabulous week in this beautiful villa. The location was brilliant being so close to town but still very quiet with no noise from the town at night. The outdoor area was very pretty with stunning views framed by bougainvillea and a pretty pool. We stayed as a couple and the villa was ideal for two of us but as only one of the four bedrooms enjoys the sea view I think it could have been very disappointing if you were going as a larger group and also the outdoor area would have been very tight for a larger group but perfect for couples or families with children who want location over...more
Good central location: 5 minutes walk to the beach and 2 minutes to the restaurants street. The villa was clean and very comfortable for 5 people, good bathrooms, comfortable beds, good as stable WiFi coverage. Part of the pool is shaded for bit less than half a day that is huge advantage in July when it is 35-38 degrees outside, the pool is large enough. We had couple of problems, they were fixed next day. We enjoyed our stay at elmas. Some minor niggles such as fridge freezer breaking down which could not be fixed for 2 days which did impact upon our holiday. We had to request a mid-stay clean for our 10 night stay which was finally done after 8 days. Otherwise this is an excellent apartment and takes about 10 minutes to walk into town but you do need to get a taxi back although these are very cheap. Maintained to a high standard and pool cleaned daily. Would recommend staying here.
We had a wonderful stay Zeytin Kaya Villa this July. Kalkan itself was superb. A few wee niggles with the villa. Minor ones would be that the décor in the villa was sparse, this I'm assuming be due to it's newness. Large mirrors would be handy in the bedrooms. More British TV channels would also be nice. Halfway through week two we lost our wifi, I'm guessing due to a restriction on usage. When you have yourself and two teenagers on tow, unlimited wifi access is essential. For some (not us), it would be a pre-requisite to booking the villa. All in all though,a great trip.
Very much enjoyed our week at Villa Porto. A great location, lovely pool and fabulous views. The private access to the sea was a bonus and saved having to go to beach clubs. The gym was another bonus that we used every day and something you wouldn’t normally get in a Villa. We had a couple of small issues but the staff were very friendly, responsive and sorted things out quickly. Overall I would highly recommend.
10 of us with differing ages. First family holiday for a long time. Villa offered everything we needed. Lovely pool, lots of shade, lots of different areas to sit. Pool, table tennis, hot tub was very popular. Magnificent views. 20 min walk into town which was very doable. Very cheap taxi drive back. David was also incredibly helpful. Everyone said one of their best holidays ever.
We loved Kalkan and The Town House. So close to wonderful bars and restaurants. It’s worth knowing that it’s on a fairly busy road with a bit of noise when on the roof terrace but quiet once in the property so easy to sleep! Great beds and kitchen well stocked with appliances and kitchenware .
Lovey clean villa with great views of the sea. Staff very helpful and easy to get hold of via WhatsApp. It’s a little bit out of the way if you want deliveries and taxis etc they tended to get lost trying to find us! It’s only a 15 min walk into town though. Wouldn’t recommend if you have very young children as there are lots of steps/ ledges in the garden, also inside there is a curved marble staircase. But the villa is perfect for adults / older kids
I have already submitted my feedback and review directly to Olive Travel. Great service and villa, cleanliness want as good as it could have been and the villa was a little tired in places. Other than that, it was a great holiday and I’d recommend the company (I have in fact) and would also re-book through them.
The villa was large and comfortable with great outdoor space - we loved the bbq, pool and different seating areas. The kitchen had everything we needed and came with a welcome pack in the fridge. All the rooms were very comfortable and quiet and the bathrooms were well kitted out. The sitting room glass topped coffee table has sharp corners and cause a few injuries and the downstairs lavatory was often blocked. There were also some issues with the electricity dropping out but that could be local issue rather than the villa.
Convenient location in a quiet residential area. A modern apartment which we felt could benefit from a few improvements to improve the self catering experience. We felt the apartment would benefit from a water cooler and the addition of some basic plastic kitchen equipment like small mixing bowls, measuring jug, oven gloves.
The apartment has a fantastic views across the Kalkan bay from its pleasant balcony where we sat most evenings sipping our G &T's. The location was really good as we were able to visit lots of local restaurants and a slow stroll down to the main old town. The supermarket was only a short walk across the road, and the water can be easily ordered and delivered to your door, and lots of other items. It's a great place to be in Kalkan, easy walking distance to Kalamar Bay for a swim, the diving centre and some very good restaurants. The apartment itself is very comfortable. We're not big fans of the bathrooms; all wet rooms so we spent more time cleaning the floor than having a shower but it's no big problem. It would definitely benefit from having a dining table on the master bedroom patio (with some lights), so one can enjoy the magnificent view.
Although we are frequent visitors to Kalkan, this was our first visit to Kisla and to Villa Palmiye. Kisla is quieter than other areas of Kalkan and has the benefit of a couple of small convenience stores and restaurants as well as easy access to a couple of beach clubs. The sunsets are amazing and it's very easy to get into town - we didn't attempt the very steep hills as it was only 25 Turkish lira to get a cab for the 5 minute ride into town. Well this property fell way short of what we were expecting ,think the photos are from a few years ago and needs updating .yes the welcome pack was nice the apartment was very clean.and you can walk down to town from here but need to taxi back only 200 Lire back ,but so many broken things that need sorting in this apartment .light on stairs missing a huge Globe ,On off switch in kitchen toilet hanging off. Taps in en -suit swivel all the way round, Lights in mirror toilets in two bedrooms not working ..The worst thing was the Blue wooden cupboard in the kitchen needs gone !!! as its a health h...more
We have stayed in Kalkan 7 times so know the town and villas well. Villa Yhavi is only a 15 minutes walk from the main shops and in a relatively peaceful area of the town. It’s a well set out villa with the basic equipment in the kitchen. The TV is connected to the WiFi so you can login to You Tube, Netflix, Prime etc. The bedrooms and en-suites are well appointed and in good order. Towels were in good condition and the weekly inside cleaning was reasonable. The villa is in a quiet spot but only 5 mins walk to the town. Views are superb. Inside is pleasant probably needs a bit of TLC . Outside the pool is great

The villa is tired. It could be fabulous. Needs some nurturing. Outside plants are dying a little. Lights are working. Jacuzzi not working. Mirror lights not working inside. Towels very mismatch. Get a coffee express machine Cleaners not very good. Don’t hoover before mopping. View bad now sadly. Price did reflect this though. Villa could be super. Get your finger out new owner!!!
