Five cottages nestling in a tranquil cider orchard. Converted 17th century farm buildings, surrounded by fields, woodland and a stone’s throw from the River Severn. Lovely walks, an abundance of wildlife and some farm animals. Pets and children welcome.
We had a lovely five-day break in Pimpernel. I had originally booked it for Christmas, but this had to be postponed at short notice because of Covid/lockdowns etc. and our hosts were fine about this. The property was gorgeous, the beds comfortable, and the views beautifully green. The only sound in the morning was the birds singing, and as a country getaway this was perfect . My disabled son loved the wood-fired hot tub and so did I - lovely to have a tub not full of chlorine and to be able to hear the birds (again) while sitting in it. The sitting / dining room was grand and the kitchen well-...more
No pigs or woodland dell walk or duck pond anymore and lots overgrown but hardly surprising from a challenging pandemic year out of business. Remote and peaceful location ourselves and the catties loved it and wished we stayed longer
My Wife and I booked the Harebell cottage for a week and it what was exactly what we needed,ie a base to explore the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley. It is situated in a such a peaceful area overlooking farmland and is so relaxing.
Everything is provided in the cottage, meaning that you only take your own food, etc. The Owners are always on hand to help if needed and overall a successful break.
We loved the surroundings as soon as we arrived.
The cottage was lovely, clean and comfortable. We even had a welcome package of breakfast essentials and even the dogs had biscuits, toilet bags, a bowl and a ball. We had everything supplied that we needed.
Excellent value for money and we would recommend it to our friends and family.
We thoroughly enjoyed it and so did the dogs.
