Five cottages nestling in a tranquil cider orchard. Converted 17th century farm buildings, surrounded by fields, woodland and a stone’s throw from the River Severn. Lovely walks, an abundance of wildlife and some farm animals. Pets and children welcome.
Really lovely holiday. Enjoyed the tennis, badminton, hot tub, also feeding the sheep and goats and cuddling Rafa the cat. Great base for exploring the Forest of Dean. Very peaceful location.
Kate and Alison could not have been more welcoming. Their lovely home and surroundings provided the quietness and tranquility we were hoping for. Harebell Cottage is a cosy, homely little place with everything you need for either a short break, or in our case, a long stay for 1 month. They had all the facilities needed including a laundry room and access to a lovely tennis court which we thoroughly enjoyed using on the warmer, sunnier days.

We booked Oatfield Cottage because of the variety of activities they offered for kids and its location.
Once we arrived we got some eggs from Alison, which was really nice. Also Alison was very helpful and responsive when we had questions upfront.
When we first entered the cottage it was not very clean and it had a strong mouldy smell. As we told the owner, she immediately re-cleaned the cottage and when we came back from our day trip the cottage was very well cleaned and the smell was gone.
