Harviestoun House is well equipped and sits in a very convenient spot with a beautiful backdrop. We were very comfortable during our stay and had excellent communication with the letting agents and landlord. Thank you for being so accommodating.
The host Christine was wonderful. She was there to greet us when we arrived and show us round the property. The property itself could not have been any nicer or cleaner and I will definitely stay again if I return to Stirling. It is an excellent location for accessing shops and the train station in Stirling which are both just a short walk away.
This very comfortable apartment in Dunblane is highly recommended. It has everything you need and it was lovely to be able to look out of the window in either our bedroom or the living room and see the Allan Water rushing by outside. Another highlight is the indoor swimming pool that residents are able to use during their stay - very relaxing and ideal for a bit of exercise! The tray of biscuits, coffee etc is also a nice touch and the property manager sent a text during our stay to make sure everything was OK, which was appreciated. Nicely decorated apartment close to Stirling centre with off street parking. Excellent modern en suite bedrooms with very comfortable beds. Small but functional kitchen. Nice lounge.
Great cottage in terrific location for all the local attractions. Communications from the management team were spot on and very helpful.
We stayed for 6 nights in this comfortable basement 2 bedroomed apartment. Very quiet. Off rd parking. Perhaps needs a bit of TLC and a lick of paint in places. Very helpful lady called Carol at the management company sorted out a couple of minor problems. A pleasant stay...and the sun shone too.
Besides groceries (if you dine in), nothing is required. This is the perfect rental and is ideal for a base location to explore Scotland. Observe the hares playing on the lawn and the deer visiting regularly. The hostess, Eleanor, is friendly, gracious, and most concerned about her guest's comfort and enjoyment.
The flat is situated on the first and second floors of a lovely sandstone building. The approach, up a few steps at the side of the building is not very aesthetically inspiring or welcoming. Lots of stairs, so not convenient if you have mobility problems and awkward with significant luggage. Well equipped kitchen, sitting room with bay window, fireplace with electric insert, two bedrooms with large beds. Two bathrooms. A very peaceful setting, absolutely quiet, possibly a bit more so because of the state of lockdown. The flat is set in a beautiful, historic, prime residential area of Stirl...more
Only Cleanliness issue was a number of hairs in the bath. Decoration could be upgraded in parts of flat. The flat is excellent overall and is in great location. We will return!
We stayed here as a group of 7 for a week, following the cancellation of our Amalfi Coast trip. The house is lovely. It has nice wooden beams, a large TV, a very well furnished and spacious farmhouse kitchen, the beds are so comfy, the Master Bedroom is immense, and both Kirsteen (Stirling Self Catering) and Carole (Property Manager) were exceptionally helpful before, during and after the stay. The house has 4 double beds and one zip/link beds. It has a downstairs WC, the Master Bedroom has an en-suite and a dressing room. There are two other bathrooms upstairs. The wooden floor is very crea...more
