We had a fantastic time. Catriona was friendly, helpful and such a fabulous host. Would thoroughly recommend this place for location, quality of finish and excellent accommodation. The lounge/kitchen was an excellent size and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Well equipped we didn’t come across anything that was missed all well thought out and comfortable.
We stayed there 6 nights, our first waypoint in Scotland. This apartment is a total escape (also in time). It is even more impressive in reality than on the pictures. It complies with the descriptions, is comfortable, was very clean, and very quiet despite being inside a larger house. Unfortunately, we did not take advantage of the charming small garden attached to (but not physically connected with) the apartment. The apartment is really close to the centre and it was very easy and pleasant to go there. There are car parking places in the street but it is pay-and-display. It s possible to...more
Excellent location, wonderful building, very comfortable stay. Great service throughout from Stirling Self Catering.
The flat was very clean and well stocked. The owners were very friendly and close to hand if we needed anything. We had a really comfortable stay and if we were in the area again we would definitely try to re-book.
We had a fabulous week in this lovely apartment. So spacious and comfortable for myself, my husband and our 2 adult children. We all experienced a great sleep every night in the most comfortable beds. Kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could need. The location is great, and the hotel is only a 5 minute walk away, with all the luxury facilities, which we enjoyed. Auchterarder is a lovely town with nice shops, bars and restaurants too. The host Graeme was so welcoming and left us a lovely basket of goodies on our arrival. Will definitely return.
We were delighted with the Walmer Apartment and Bridge of Allan was perfect to stay in! There were lovely restaurants and the Main Street was adorable. The Tesco next door was an added bonus, and although the food was a bit more expensive, as is usual with a convenience store, it was such a convenience. The TV was great, the internet speed was fabulous, and all the furnishings were very comfortable. We chose the Stirling area thinking we could hit both Glasgow and Edinburgh via train there. We could not find a suitable place in Stirling, so settled on Bridge of Allan, which was more desirable ...more
It was absolut perfect for us as a group of 3 couples with 3 motorbikes. Towncenter and supermarkets in walking distance. Nice little area with good possibilities for barbeque and having a drink after a long ride.
Kirsteen was a big help throughout the booking process and even whilst we were there. Harviestoun House is lovely. We stayed there as a group over new year's for a week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The property is well furnished throughout and we'll maintained. Dollar is a very nice village with an excellent delicatessen, and ideally located close to Edinburgh and Stirling. The house was very warm and clean and has clearly benefited from a full modern refurbishment. It has a very sizeable kitchen, 3 modern showers, good sized bedrooms throughout, a log burner and a sizeable lounge. The on...more
This flat is ideally situated opposite Kings Park, great for an early morning run! And central Stirling is an easy 10 minutes walk away. Outside, The flat has its own parking and sheltered patio area with table and chairs for al fresco meals. Inside, it is recently renovated and decorated, with plenty of kitchen utensils, dishwasher, washing machine and drier. The rooms are spacious and the beds super comfy. We stayed a week and had a great time. Highly recommended
The accommodation was excellent and very comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and, as someone who finds it hard to sleep in strange beds, I had no problems dropping off quickly. The house was very well equipped for our week. Cutlery, crockery etc... all there. Tea and coffee facilities were adequate. And the kitchen was fitted out with every mod con needed. The house was comfortable and clean and very accommodating for our needs. We needed access to the University Campus, and being only a 15 min walk way it was ideal. The surrounding area was very quiet and quite luxurious. So wal...more
We had a fabulous holiday thanks to staying in a beautiful home in a fantastic location. 5 mins to the centre of Stirling and 10 mins to the train station. Pear Tree House was well equipped and a very comfortable home from home. Would highly recommend.
Besides groceries (if you dine in), nothing is required. This is the perfect rental and is ideal for a base location to explore Scotland. Observe the hares playing on the lawn and the deer visiting regularly. The hostess, Eleanor, is friendly, gracious, and most concerned about her guest's comfort and enjoyment.
Springwood is a beautiful old house but it does need some touch ups done inside to keep it looking the part & the cleaners need to clean the floors better as the was a lot of dust on the bathroom floor otherwise well worth the stay.
Our group used this property as our base while in Scotland. It is an amazing place! It is much larger than what any photos can convey, with plenty of room for groups. The kitchen was perfect for preparing any meals we ate there. The bedrooms were spacious with plenty of closet and dresser space. The main living/dining room was comfy and offered a great view of the local area. The sunsets were amazing from the front lawn. The neighbors are friendly, as well. It is a beautiful property and well worth staying at! We will stay here again on our next visit and I highly recommend it to anyone lookin...more
Lovely ladies weekend to celebrate a retirement. House was beautiful and had all amenities we could have wanted. Would highly recommend
This was our 2nd stay at the apartment. The only problem was the parking. A car was permanently parked beside the apartment which made it difficult to unload/load our car. Even so, we would hire again.l
