We had such a lovely stay and would highly recommend staying here. The place was spotless and set in a wonderfully quiet location, with birdsong all around from the surrounding trees. The bed was really comfy, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We made great use of the fire both inside and out, as well as the pizza oven. The outdoor bath was a perfect spot to unwind. Highly recommend walking over to The Barn for dinner and drinks. We loved paddle boarding to the Knipoch Hotel for lunch. We were excited to stay in Penlarach having stayed here many times around 10-15 years ago and we were not disappointed. The new owners have done a fabulous job of upgrading and remodelling the house which is very comfortable and superbly appointed. Highly recommended
A well-equipped, warm lodge with a lovely view from the sitting area and balconies. We liked the location being so near to Oban for the supermarkets, takeaway meals and visiting little islands just off the coast. We went to Kerrera and Lismore. We drove over the Atlantic Bridge, walked up Bein Lora and went around Arduaine and Angus Gardens. The lodge is next door to the owner's house. It was very quiet in May as the house behind was empty and the lodges on the other side of the road were largely unoccupied. We didn't try the pizza oven or the bath tub so can't comment. Briefly - the cottage is perfect. Beautiful location, extremely comfortable beds, all amenities provided, interesting books, warm stove, incredible garden and views, responsive host. Already looking to book again; highly recommended.
Well appointed, tastefully decorated and very comfortable apartment, conveniently located in the centre of Oban with a great view of the town and waterfront from the lounge windows.
Lovely cottage in a very quiet location just 10 minutes from Oban. Well equipped kitchen and excellent facilities over all. Lovely welcome pack when we arrived. Would thoroughly recommend.

Comfortable and convenient apartment within the centre of Oban. Communication throughout the process was excellent. Would certainly recommend this accommodation for a visit to Oban. Great access from the port to the Scottish isles and Highlands.
We have stayed at this cottage at least four times during the last decade. The fact that we keep returning says everything about its location, amenities, and cleanliness.
Great property, beautiful peaceful location. loads of space and had pretty much everything we needed. Owner was really friendly and helpful when we needed to contact. Just a couple of pointers, If you have a small dog or young children, the fencing is not totally secure as they could slip through the gaps. Perhaps just some mesh at the bottom so you don't lose the views. Although it allows dogs rules of the house state they are not allowed in the carpeted areas. I understand not being allowed on the furniture but this means they are effectively confined to the hallway and the kitchen. ...more
Feochan Bheag is a fantastic, well equipped large holiday home. It is beautifully furnished with large settees in a bright airy lounge and also has a large open plan kitchen/dining area. The bedrooms and beds are also very comfortable. Glen Feochan itself is a beautiful location and is only 15 minutes from the vibrant town of Oban. One suggestion would be to provide some more comfortable seating for enjoying the large outdoor patio and garden.
We stayed last May and returned this year. Excellent location and utter peace and quiet. Remember to check with the company about the heating, it was quite cold when we were there and you need to contact them to turn up the heating as it is controlled remotely by the owners. Otherwise a delightfully peaceful week, lovely walks nearby and would recommend Eeusk restaurant on the harbour, lovely food and great staff.
