Red Squirrel was perfect for our stay. Evelyn and Ralph were perfect hosts and the apartment is gorgeous. Everything you need for a stay and amazing views. Loved the BBQ hut too!
This was our third time of staying in one of these luxury apartments. Thankfully the weather was fairly kind to us, so we travelled around visiting various places of interest, north, south, east and west. These very attractive and comfortable cottages/apartments are situated in an excellent part of Scotland for exploring both new and old. We have stayed at Sandford many times and it never disappoints. All of the apartments are well equipped ( we have stayed in them all) and very comfortable. We enjoyed the log burning stove in the evenings in this chilly summer. It was great to see red the squirrels in the garden again. Our grandchildren particularly enjoyed the garden and the tree house. Ralph and Evelyn are excellent hosts.
We have stayed at Sandford several times and it’s a very special place. Evelyn & Ralph have thought of every comfort and you are made very welcome in this serene, immaculate and quietly luxurious house. The setting and grounds are gorgeous and you share the garden with red squirrels and a lively community of birds! It’s an utterly peaceful place and we always leave feeling refreshed.
3 bedrooms ensuite, one completely barrier free. (The entrance from the parking place to the house is not barrier free.) The kitchen cum dining and lounge make up a spacious area for everyone to use. Fully equipped kitchen for those who want to cook. Extra fridge- freezer. 2 Barbecues, one gas, one charcoal. Two terraces. This apartment is in a charming location: quiet, not far from shops, one hour from Aberdeen or Edinburgh and airports. Dundee, just across the Tay Bridge, is only 10 minutes away by car.
this is my recomend in these area, it is very clean. very confortable,. promise nice stay. there are some restaurants, supermarket in Dundee, 10m from there.
