A fantastic property for a special occasion. Spacious and luxurious and suitable for all ages. Great location within walking distance of the beach and a quaint church and duck pond. The pool and enclosed garden was a bit hit.
We had an absolutely lovely stay at Sea Salt. The house was perfect for our 3 families to stay together with lots of space indoors and outdoors. Would definitely recommend.
We had our annual family stay in one of Norfolk coast holiday cottages this was our 1st stay in the sea folly! Very clean spacious with lovely comfortable beds, well equipped and large outside space safe for children and our dogs. Quiet area with views to the lighthouse ! Balcony view was amazing to watch the sun set! There is parking for 3 cars ! We had 4 cars (note you can only park on road till 10pm). The only downfall for us was 20 minute walk to town to the shops and to eat out or 20 minutes to old hunstanton or the beach or to eat out or get an ice cream for the children! We were there ...more
It's our sixth stay at the Lighthouse, our first being in 2018. It's a stunning location, if you get the weather, and we were blessed with decent weather, albeit cold. Its condition has deteriorated in the eight years and it's slightly frayed around the edges. For example, the bathroom in one bedroom wasn't as clean as maybe it should have been. One main frustration was two inner door shelves in the refrigerator were missing and with the amount of items in it for four couples it caused difficulties in accommodating everything. Really enjoyed staying here. Lovely location, loved the walks to the sea front. Bungalow was cold when we arrived, heating was on low. Says in information folder that heating shouldn’t need to be altered but we were really cold so needed to alter it. Could possibly do with some better outdoor lights, especially near the steps down from the drive. Overall everything was lovely. Everything that you would need was provided even plastic storage containers. Welcome basket was above and beyond. We will definitely stay again.
After the disappointment of hearing that our favourite Norfolk Coast Holiday Cottages - Albatross, Par and Mulligan were to be sold (our last visit was in 2022) my wife and I were delighted to find that Albatross Cottage was to be saved! Our return was not a disappointment. My wife and I have stayed several times in these properties alongside the beautiful Hunstanton Golf Club and regard the standard of accommodation as the benchmark for other properties we have stayed in in other parts of north Norfolk. Lovely place ran by the lodge up the road. Lots of space, plenty of parking and a lovely spot to unwind after a day out. The lodge were brilliant. I Recommend it for a place to eat out aswell. Only two negatives to mention. The mattress in the bedroom to the left of upstairs bathroom was springy and uncomfortable for us. All the other beds have definitely been upgraded more recently. Also the food waste bin by the gate was full up on our arrival and wasn’t emptied during our weeks stay. Which with the hot weather was not ideal.
