We stayed in the Bhurtpore Room - North Wing. Everything exceeded our expectations. The wing is amazing. The staff so friendly from check in to departure. The breakfast was very special.
My wife and I stayed at Combermere Abbey for two nights in the Salamanca Suite located in the North Wing. Directions and access information was provided via email. Once on the property we were kindly greeted by Stephan (sp?) who walked us around the North Wing and provided information about the suite and the surrounding property.
The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was very large, provided a dual aspect view out to the lovely garden and lake area. The bed was large and comfortable. The adjacent sitting room/lounge provided a nice area to relax and provide yet another different ...more

Whilst we love the estate and this has been bringing us back for well over a decade the cottages decor & furnishings are not as good in Callander as on the photos & on previous stays - clearly with repacement mismatching furniture/decor downstairs. The cupboard with the TV does not look good at all. The cushions are tired, I could go on.
We missed the fresh flowers and magazines previously available and even the biscuits were cheaper.
The housekeeping team & maintenance were so friendly and helpful.
We can see the focus on wedding business certainly has an impact on the wear & tear ...more
My now husband and I stayed at the Stone Lodge the night before our wedding, and it was lovely! We were brought a hamper of fresh bread, milk, and cereal that was delicious. Upstairs is a bath that overlooks the grounds, giving you a lovely view while you bathe. We tried to get a fire going in the fireplace but sadly didn’t have any luck, but maybe you'll have more luck than we did! Overall a perfect, comfortable, and clean stay.
