If you want to experience the beauty of Scotland in terms of the landscape with its lochs, the colours changing all over the time, the calm, … it is one of the places to stay for a week or more.

Views are stunning; sunsets amazing. House is very well maintained and has everything you need. Weather was great this year so we ate outside in the sunshine and enjoyed the peace. We'll be back (again)
If you want to get away from it all and enjoy beautiful, peaceful surroundings then this is the ideal place. The Barn is comfortable and has all the necessary basics, including some which aren’t often provided when self catering - washing up liquid! The owner is on hand with maps, advice and info if needed but never intrusive. It really is a get away from it, so be prepared for driving on single track roads ( but so quiet you’ll hardly ever meet someone going in the opposite direction and there are plenty of passing places) and internet access is via satellite so limited to browsing during the...more
