We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was perfect and very peaceful. The children loved playing at the loch side and spent hours pottering away. Beautiful scenery. We ordered our Tesco shopping for the Sunday which was great. Catriona was kind and helpful. We wanted a break away from it all and got that exactly!

We stayed at the cottage for two weeks, and were very impressed by the spaciousness and facilities. The kitchen is big, and the sun room is a great feature. Loch Awe is a beautiful location, and the cottage has excellent views of the loch. We found it perfect for a kayaking, cycling or walking holiday, and would love to return.

Very secluded. 10 miles single track road! Takes half an hour from main road. 1 hour from Inveraray. The barn is facing away from the loch. (Which is a bit of a shame). Excellent place.... Well maintained. Nice hosts.

We enjoyed a refreshing few days in Stable with the views, the rural location and the little deer we saw on the roadside driving home leaving us with such happy memories. Stable is roomy, comfortable and well-equipped and we will return. With only a few days, we visited Kilmartin Glen which is easily a full day out; Carnassarie Castle, the standing stones and rock art and a good walk along Crinan Canal - what a lovely place to find a cafe. The next day it had to be Glen Coe – just awesome.
