We stayed in the Stable and the views were out of this world. Seeing the red squirrel and pine marten coming to the feeder close to the cottage was a bonus as was the duck that would come and stare in the window. Everything necessary was provided and our hostess Catriona came round to ensure we had everything needed. I would recommend a stay at Blarghour to anyone.
The cottage was a fabulous place to stay . We enjoyed our visit and attitude of the owner was positive, helpful and friendly. Only word of warning is that you must be able to cope with single track roads with passing places and be happy with reversing on occasion! This was obvious to me before booking but may not be to others. It was the price to pay to be able to enjoy the views especially from the panoramic room , cups of tea in there were a joy. Well equipped kitchen etc
We found the cottage as clean and comfortable as ever, and the peace andbeautiful views unchanged. The scenery is beautiful and it's a wonderful place to unwind away from it all. It's the chance to fish in the loch that first brought us here, but we also love the walks from the house, the views and the chance to see ospreys, white-tailed eagles (both seen this year) and deer, as well as visiting Inverary, Oban, Kilmartin with its prehistoric monuments, and other places in the area. Catriona makes her guests very welcome and is easy to contact if needed, but never intrusive. We'll be back!
We were lucky enough to start our holiday at day earlier as they property was available. The Stable is great everything you need for a home for home holiday. Cooking facilities brillaint everything you need. Outside space amazing we were luckily enough to see the pine martin, deer and hear the owls. The berooms are lovely and airy and the shower is the best shower ever!! Looking forward to returning!!! This was our this visit!!! Thanks Catriona
