We had a great family holiday at Chapelhill, beautiful house great location. Communication was excellent, nothing was to much trouble. Highly recommend Chapelhill views are spectacular from the house.
I have stayed in many 5 star holiday homes but I can honestly say Hollybank House is by far the best. The house, facilties and location are just superb. It is very well kitted out with enough crockery to feed an army. Our contact was Liz from Auchenheglish Luxury Lodges who was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble for her. The pictures don't do it justice you need to go there to appreciate the peace and tranquility and I can't recommend this house highly enough.
Excellent guesthouse and excellent service! I love Scotland and the Scottish people. Thanks Liz for this opportunity! Cheers from Holland.
Our fourth visit to Auchenheglish, and another great week. Excellent facilities, and great staff. Perhaps bed could be upgraded, but otherwise all good..
Myself and my partner have stayed in Auchenheglish lodges on numerous holidays and we love it. The lodges are spotless and have had a refurb. There are 2 things that let it down “slightly” and they are a new double bed or mattress and the suite needs reupholstered, it is a good quality suite and will last even longer with the attention it needs. Other than that I will be back if I can get booked, it’s always busy because it’s so nice. The price is reasonable as well, and there is always a welcome pack. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. 9.5/10 Love Auchenheglish
We loved our week at Creinch Lodge. The lodge was exceptionally clean, modern, warm and comfortable. It was well equipped and had everything we needed. The views from the lodge were beautiful. We even saw two otters one morning swim by! We would highly recommend Creinch Lodge.
What a pleasure to return again this year to a beautifully refurbished apartment which added to our experience. From the ease of booking with liz as efficient as ever and the comfort and cleanliness of the apartment - thank you Wendy - we had a marvellous time. See you again soon.
We so enjoyed our time in Loch Lomond at this well appointed apartment. It was very clean with very comfortable beds and bedding. Great location centrally located to explore the area.
Carriage lodge was very nice. Great to be able to all be able to sit round in the lounge. Very clean, lots of utensils for cooking. Lovely garden area. Close to the cruin, 10minute walk.
Apt for family. Loved the accommodation and cleanliness and the setting. Although Piper No 7 did not have a good view of Loch Lomond, it was a non- issue. All the facilities were great. It is self-catering, so there is no restaurant in the premises. There are nearby restaurants you could drive to. Would visit again. Definitely recommended.
The house had everything we needed, all ten of use could fit around dinner table. We loved the location and skimming stones into the Loch.
The location is brilliant and the area is lovely with plenty to see and do. Auchenheglish lodges are worth a visit but we found a few little things that needed attention at num 15. A window in the living room could not be locked. On-suite bathroom door, top hinge broken, also the toilet holder was broken. The on-suite shower drain needs replacement and the design of the on-suite made the sink a little awkward to use. The toilet in the family bathroom is continuously running and the shower over the bath leak’s through the seal onto the floor. The outside patio’s could do with a clean front a...more
The temperature in the room was cold, needed small heater in the living room on all the time Bedroom and bathroom were cold, was unable to adjust heating on my own. Don’t think heating is adequate for rooms with such high ceilings In the bedroom was a lot of dust on bedside cabinet/mirror Bedroom TV did not have normal channels, could only get Netflix and living room TV had normal channels but no Netflix, the book in the accommodation mentioned sky channels but there was no sky Found a piece of broken glass at the side of the bed which somebody could have easily step on The grill in the c...more
