Chestnut Cottages gave me exactly the quiet break I needed. The place is clean, cosy and well equipped, with calm countryside views right outside the door. The location makes it easy to explore nearby villages and walking routes, yet it still feels private and relaxing. A comfortable, peaceful stay that I’d happily return to.
Me and my partner enjoyed our 3 day stay at swallow cottage in Skegness Chestnut farm it was peaceful and will be returning again to try out Conker Cottage.
Walnut is a lovely cottage and our second stay there. Booking was done over the phone as I was going on the same day but made so easy. The cottage is really comfortable and clean. It has everything that you need for your stay. There is a lovely enclosed garden so our dog was able to happily wander in and out. Chestnuts is in a lovely setting and so close to everything that you may need.
Everything about my stay was perfect. Cottage immaculate everything you could need supplied. Perfect

We visited again with our son, his partner and our two grandchildren. We love the enclosed garden at Rose which is exactly what 2 young boys need for playing out. The boys helped feed the animals every morning and loved the playground. We have been visiting the farm and the country cottages with our extended family for over 35 years and they never disappoint. Many happy memories of holidays with our parents too.
Beautiful,clean cottage. We have continued to return every year for the past 6 years. We love it here.
We absolutely loved it here. Visited out of season. short walk into village with nice pubs. Lovely walks and the animals on the farm are lovely, especially the goat. It was spotless. So comfortable and well equipped. I will be returning again in the future.
We had a great stay and communication with the host was excellent. It was a really good location, only a 10 minute drive from the beach. Everything was clean and well looked after and had everything you could possibly need.
We really enjoyed our stay at Conker cottage. A big thank you the staff team who work hard to keep the place to nice. Really friendly staff. Really appreciate the enthusiasm when allowing kids to feed animals etc. it makes it very special. Cottage was lovely and well equipped and spotlessly clean. We had a great time and honestly can't think of much but her are a few Suggestions/comments: - Gate around play area? The site is obviously next to a very busy road a short walk from the play area. We love coming to the Chestnuts every Easter, years ago we could all fit in Ivy and Rose together but we have spread into another 4 cottages but always congregate and party in the Easter House, as the kids now call it. We scatter chocolate eggs throughout the garden area and let all the young ones loose on Easter Sunday morning, they absolutely love it and most of them are old enough now to go on their own to the games room, the park area and the large enclosed play area to play football or tennis or just run about. We stayed here for 8 weeks it was lovely warm and comfortable with friendly and helpful staff we're already booked for next year 10/10
Comfy cosy cottage …lovely location … spacious enough for two people even though it could sleep four. But space used well …Will probably return
We really enjoyed our short break at the Barn. It was lovely and spacious and warm - which was needed during February half-term! Dawn was wonderful and let the kids feed the animals a couple of times and look for eggs. It was too rainy to make us want to explore the trail but the surrounding countryside looked very nice. It was just a short drive to Skegness and Gunby Hall, which were nice trips out. Would definitely recommend.
