Our well-equipped self catering cottages near Skegness provide a relaxing, peaceful environment for all the family. With plentiful space, comfortable beds and individual character you will soon feel at home. All cottages have flat LCD TV’s and DVD players.

We have a range of self catering cottages to suit your needs and requirements such as cottages with enclosed gardens for pets and children, single story cottages for easy access and inter-joining cottages for large parties.

We love coming to the Chestnuts every Easter, years ago we could all fit in Ivy and Rose together but we have spread into another 4 cottages but always congregate and party in the Easter House, as the kids now call it. We scatter chocolate eggs throughout the garden area and let all the young ones loose on Easter Sunday morning, they absolutely love it and most of them are old enough now to go on their own to the games room, the park area and the large enclosed play area to play football or tennis or just run about.
Visiting the Easter house is an annual pilgrimage for us now and I’m sure we’ll be coming for many years to come, it’s one of our happy places.

A lovely location and home for our large family for a special weekend. It was worth the trip and the money spent.

Grandchildren enjoyed the farm and the games room.

Large family group including young children. Second time we've been to Chestnut Holiday Cottages.
The Farm setting is brilliant for the kids. Also only short drive to some excellent beaches.
Ivy Cottage is spacious. One bedroom accessed through the upstairs bathroom which may sometimes be awkward. Not so for us.
With children, the upstairs bedroom windows ideally needed opening limiters fitted.
With this in mind the bunk beds are too close to the window so would be better in the opposite corner.
Staff interaction with the kids for animal feeding and the tractor ride was brilliant
Peaceful haven in the evening away from the coastal mayhem.
