We have a range of self catering cottages to suit your needs and requirements such as cottages with enclosed gardens for pets and children, single story cottages for easy access and inter-joining cottages for large parties.

We really enjoyed our stay at Conker cottage. A big thank you the staff team who work hard to keep the place to nice. Really friendly staff. Really appreciate the enthusiasm when allowing kids to feed animals etc. it makes it very special.
Cottage was lovely and well equipped and spotlessly clean.
We had a great time and honestly can't think of much but her are a few
Suggestions/comments:

- Gate around play area? The site is obviously next to a very busy road a short walk from the play area. It was quite anxiety provoking trying to watch 2 kids playing and making sure other child hasn't wandered off towards the road. Would a fence and self closing gate be possibly just to reduce the chances of a child running off towards the road?

Advertising the activities: some way of clarifying activities? Tractor ride was advertised on the board for a Thursday but never happened. We waited around.

Finally games room could do with some TLC and ranges of activities for kids? Some board games etc perhaps?

But overall wonderful place thanks so much

The cottage met our needs perfectly as we could make meals when we needed in the well equipped kitchen and relax in the comfortable living room area. The shower room in this cottage was equipped with grab rail either side of the toilet and in the shower tray there is also a seat. I found these adaptions really useful as I have mobility issues.
We had two bedrooms but only required the one as there were only two of us. Our room was spacious with a lovely big comfortable bed and plenty of of storage space for our clothes and other belongings. Every room has blinds as well as curtains which means that the cottage is warm and rooms can be made darker during the daytime if someone needs to sleep.
We spent most of our stay visiting local attractions so it was lovely to be able t go back to the cottage midway through the day to rest and eat before going out again.

Very comfortable cottage excellent for the dog as it was fully enclosed garden and lovely walks for her really cleaneverywhere and we would like to come again
