This was our group of four anglers second stay in the Oak cottage at Chestnuts Cottages. The cottage was clean and tidy and kitchen had everything we needed, couldn't fault anything. Fishing: As well as the on-site pond which holds a number of double figure carp, you have a wide choice of fisheries a short drive away by car. Food & drink: The local village of Burgh Le Marsh is only a 10-15 minute walk from the cottage and has a number of pubs and takeaways.
A lovely little place! Each cottage unique & caters for all different family units. Dogs welcome with enjoyable walks & a lake to enjoy for fishing. The place is kept in a emaculate condition with crisp bedding & soft towels provided. Peaceful, beautiful & well worth a visit!

Lovely cottage and surroundings but the constant amount of flies inside would put me off returning .
We really enjoyed our holiday & made some happy memories at The Willows.It was lovely that the children were able to make friends We would have appreciated a washing machine in the kitchen. The downstairs bedroom was a little small to accommodate 2 adult members of our family. A hand rail on the side of the stairs would have been helpful. A curtain or blind on the front door would have added extra privacy when using the downstairs bathroom facilities. The family all enjoyed the tractor ride & feeding the animals. Good clean property lots of space in the house. Location great for various trips out and about. Very quiet area.
