My wife and I spent 2 weeks in Castlerigg and enjoyed our stay immensely. We particularly enjoyed the location: To the rear of the property a private car park and from the lounge above this, wonderful views of the many fells - we watched the sunset from here on many evenings. To the front is the pedestrianised Keswick high street with its numerous attractions. Always enjoy our time in Whinlatter. Think bed is better than one at home! All mod cons and nice and warm for a stay in winter. Had problems with TV but dealt with.
This was our 3rd stay in the Garden Apartment and I'm sure it won't be our last. A spacious, comfortable, very clean apartment with everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. The location is excellent, right in the middle of Keswick only a few minutes walk to the shops, cafes, bars, restaurants etc and on the doorstep of many walks as easy or difficult as you prefer. The lake is only a 10 minute walk, passing a lovely park with cafe on the way. Having your own parking space is the cherry on top of the cake .
