My wife and I spent a wonderfully relaxing week in Arch cottage. The cottages are set in very well maintained grounds, the pool, tennis court, gym, play areas and animal enclosures providing entertainment for all. There are a series of small lakes and woodland to wander around and we were told a hide was planned to enable visitors to view the resident wildlife. We were lucky enough to see the resident Kingfisher. The cottage itself was extremely well equipped, very clean and cosy. The over bath shower was powerful with a good flow of seemingly unlimited hot water, always a major point for me....more
Such a delightful selection of cottages set in a beautiful Devon landscape. Along with animals for children to feed, a fantastic pool, and a games room, too keep all generations entertained. Very friendly & efficient customer service. All round excellent holiday! Many Thanks
Absolutely amazing place !!! We have been staying here a few time now and Every time it exceeds our expectations,. FABULOUS PROPERTIE - very comfortable and well equipped cottages for any size family, loads of space and things to do for the kids, lovely beaches a short drive away - The dog loves it too :-) Already planning our next stay !
My wife, two young sons and myself had an incredible long week end spent at Kester Cottage, at Compton Pool Farm. The location is idyllic, in the rolling green Devon hills. The cottage was beautifully clean, and was kitted out with everything you could ask for. The facilities were very impressive, the games room you could spend hours in, as you could in the cosy, heated swimming pool! Our eldest boy ( aged 6), before our week end here had a fear of water, but when we travelled back to Cornwall he was confident at swimming underwater! A fabulous holiday with the family of 6 adults and 5 children. The farmhouse was well equipped and catered for all our needs. The children loved feeding the animals and paid a daily visit to the swimming pool. They also learnt to fish and play tennis. A perfect setting which covered all our needs especially as it rained most days
I cannot rate Compton Pool highly enough. As soon as we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. The cottage was imacculate and there were so many little touches that really made it feel like a home from home. There were quite a lot of us from 3 different households but we never felt like we lacked space or privacy. The pool, games room and small gym were great ways to spend the evenings and were well equipped. The location is excellent with lots of things to see and do nearby. We stayed here in July as a group of 7 adults and 2 children. The cottages were well furnished with everything you could need and more, there is also the option to use their cot, bed guards and high chairs which makes packing light an option. The activities on site were perfect for our 3 year old, who would go for an early morning swim followed by feeding the animals and playing in the park and games room.
