Beautiful location on a working farm with animals nearby which was lovely too see. Great set up in Lotties Lodge. The local pub serves excellent home made food, are dog friendly and in walking distance, book in advance to get a table. James was very friendly and helpful with recommending places to go. Cheddar Gorge is very pretty. Brean Downs is a lovely beach visit & also dog friendly.
Had a fantastic stay. First night was a bit noisy didn't realise that there were 2 big party houses not far from the hut. BUt apart from that it was fantastic. Very quiet and the view from the canopy up the hill is lovely. Will definitely be back.
The Yurt is a unique experience. It had everything you could want and more. A wood burner and electric blanket if you're staying in a cooler time of the year. Kitchen has all you need perfectly packed away. Plenty of seating both inside and out. Garden with loungers, fire pit and hot tub. It's location is quiet and peaceful.
A group of 15 of us stayed for a hen do, absolutely incredible start to finish, the house and facilities were amazing! Sharon showed us around and all the staff were so friendly and ensured we had the best stay. Can’t recommend enough, everything we needed and more!!
Booked this place for my sister 40th Birthday. Beautiful and quiet location. The weather was hit and miss, but that did not stop our celebrations. There was a pool table, which changed to table tennis, Dart Board and board games available to play. The hot tub was absolutely lovely, which we enjoy being in the evening. There is local pub which is about 5 mins walk away, and they allow dogs in.
Weston Super-Marie, is not too far from the village. Had a nice few hours there, fish and chips by the sea.
Was away for a couple of nights with my dog. Unfortunately my dog didn’t settle so I took him home on the second day but went back on my own. Olivia’s roost is lovely and peaceful. Would recommend it. The only negative were the flies and wasps. As soon as I cleared the dead ones away more would appear. Obviously this isn’t down to Walnut Barn just the weather. Went to the local pub which was very welcoming. There is a lovely walk for dogs etc which we enjoyed. Have fun when you go
We had a lovely little stay at the Cider barn It's situation in a lovely village, just a short stroll to the local pub that Had a nice atmosphere and nice food And only a short drive to Western superman,
The owners were lovely, always there to help. Very friendly.
The cider barn is quite small so I would say it only suits for two people and does not have a garden. We had a dog and had to use the private orchard but this meant going back and forth through the gates and car park to let our dog out for his toilet wasn't very convenient for us, also could do with updating garden furniture
